Eilidh herself is dressed in a short black sequined dress with her brown hair in it's high ponytail, but she is facing the other way so her back is facing the camera. The scene then quickly switches to a male dancer, doing hip hop dances. The camera then quickly switches to Eilidh, the camera zoomed in on her as she gives a smirk to the camera and taps her cheek with her white finger painted nails. Ooh, ooh I just want you to say what you mean As soon as the singing begins, Eilidh is now turned to the camera as her female dancers are beside her now. They start swaying their hips to the music, with the black and white spiral circle behind them going on and on. The room looks rather dark and sets a tone of sexiness as the young singer sings about wanting to know someone's true feelings. She starts on the top of the stairs and then makes her way down. One either side of her, there are two guys also dressed in black and white, kneeling before her as she walks. The camera switches again to her laying on the circle as she sings now, wearing a white sweater and her white heels sprawled out underneath her. It’s always nice to know exactly how you feel But you keep holding back, so tell me what’s the deal? We’re at an intersection and I’m about to go If you really want me to stay, you better let me know You love, always taking me for granted Now you, got a little too comfortable So glad, you’re starting to feel the panic Because I love to keep you on your toes Ain’t nothing ever promised Eilidh is now cradling herself as she sings, almost as if to give the impression she's shy and fragile but the way she sings suggest a different idea. The scene goes back to her with her dancers, this time in front of the stairs. Eilidh starts swaying her hips more as the chorus hits. She finds herself mimicking the other dancers around her as the twin guys come into view now. Everyone dances together, the choreography simple and easy. It wasn't anything too complex but it helped make the visuals more entertaining. She's then seen next to a guy as she's singing the chorus but only her lips and partial face are shown in this scene. Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say I don’t need your sweet nothings All I want is you to love me Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say Hey, hee-ey During the second verse, Eilidh is standing on a white scooter, the backdrop completely different from where she was last and now wearing a black leather dress. Standing next to her are some of her male dancers. As she sings, she's posing on the scooter, and then the scene switches to her near the stairs again. As she dances around, the scene changes once again to her in the white sweater again, on the ground. The energy in the video is very fast paced matching the song. The choreography once again is simple and the same as before, Eilidh swaying her hips and looking rather seductive doing it. I’ll never be the type for a quick satisfaction I’m such a visual lover, and baby I need some action Why’s it so hard for you to tell me your true thoughts? Maybe it’s because you don’t really feel what I want You love, always taking me for granted Now you, got a little too comfortable So glad, you’re starting to feel the panic Because I love to keep you on your toes Ain’t nothing ever promised When she gets to the chorus again, the scene goes back to her in front of the pink screen, a close up and then goes to her beside the guy as she's almost singing to him. This time, we see the guy's lips as he's singing along to the words, mouthing them. Eilidh is then standing in the middle of the stage as her dancers surround her. All of them are still dancing together with Eilidh improvising and focusing more on looking good. Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say I don’t need your sweet nothings All I want is you to love me Don’t just start saying it, I need you to mean what you say (x2) The bridge finally enters and we see Eilidh singing to the camera once again as she looks around, then it goes back to her on the ground. The scene switches to her now with the dancers as it all comes to a halt before she belts out the last line and then it goes back into the chorus. The group starts to dance again, with all the previous scenarios flashing back on the screen as a reminder of what had just happened in the video. Eilidh is then seen standing behind the guy who was seen in the video earlier. She starts going back towards the stairs again, still dancing and spinning around. When she's with the dancers, she looks more confident and energetic as they finish the song out. You know I’m running out of patience And you know you’re running out of chances I never wanted something so simple But you’re making this way complicated Ooh Ohh, just mean it! The video ends with her smiling with her eyes closed and then walking up the stairs, as her dancers are kneeling beside her. She then sits down on the stairs, facing the camera as the video fades out. summer and was set to release shortly after the single had dropped however the before they could post it Jeep decided to pull out of the contract they had with SYNCO and due to the product placement in the video for Jeep the girls were not allowed to post the video The video opens up with the slower R&B dance influenced synths from SYNCO's "I'm coming" we can see Naomi along with the girls in the back on the beach Naomi is seen up front as she lip syncs to her part of the song meanwhile the other other girls can be seen in the back in a slower motion having fun on the beach the video then cuts over to a shot of Naomi alone on the rocks of the beach as she dances seductively towards the camera and continues to lip sync her solos I'm hearing from the locals That you been talking bout missing me too My head keeps saying we're through But I already got my foot out the door As the pre-chorus of the song kicks in we see the video switch between shots of Layla and Jamie starting with a she seductively runs her hands through her hair and lip syncs her part finally before entering the chorus we see Layla once again this time getting a little more playful with the video as if calling rocks each is placed higher and higher with Layla on the lowest part, followed by Nicole who is higher, not too far from her is Alex placed more in the center, then Jamie on the right placed higher up than the previous girls and finally at the very top we see Naomi the girls all dance each doing their own thing rather than their usual choreographed dance numbers as they lip sync the more upbeat see the girls on the rocks as they lip sync and dance to the more upbeat half of the chorus which is harmonized by the five girls So what if, what if I told you I wanna come What if I asked you for your love Baby if you're down I'll be up, up baby I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming During the bridge nobody is seen lip syncing instead we get three different shots of the girls interacting with the five convenient male models who had just arrived at the beach flirting, dancing and laughing with each one in slow motion as we hear Layla and Jamie deliver the bridge Tell me you, tell me you, tell me that you Feel this way too And I'll come, and I'll come, and I'll come Come back to you Tell me you, tell me you, tell me that you Feel this way too And if you do, you can come too As the girls get into the chorus we first see Jamie in the send on all fours like we previously seen Layla the camera shows an angle from the back however Jamie keeps her eyes locked on the camera giving them the stare the girls have been giving throughout the video it then cuts to SYNCO once again who finally deliver one of their choreographed numbers dancing in sync with each other as they lip sync the chorus really living up to their name they do their rather simple choreography throughout the rest of the chorus before we see them each finally get together for one last pose bringing the video to an end as Jamie's outro plays So what if, what if I told you I wanna come What if I asked you for your love Baby if you're down I'll be up, up baby I'm coming So what if, what if I told you I wanna come As you may know, Jay-C has been on a promotional trail as he embarks his return to the industry after taking a five year hiatus from music due to legal reasons. It's evident that Jay-C is ready to continue his rise back to the top, which is where he left off before being arrested. Already, Jay-C has appeared on a very popular chat show just last week and spoke about his return to music and his plans, which included a promise to release new songs in very soon time. Jay-C definitely kept that promise and shortly after Jay-C dropped a new track entitled "Dirty Money", hardcore hip hop record was met with critical acclaim, most notably for Jay-C's bravery in getting back to old-school rap, instead of molding himself to hold back and be more "cookie cutter" for radio. This came with somewhat of a backlash however, with rumors of radio stations refusing to play the record siting it be too harsh for airplay. Radio stations nor Jay-C have commented on the rumors so it's completely up in the air on whether or not it's true, and the song has since been played on radio with heavy editing. Just five days later, Jay-C is back again with even more new music, proving to continue to hold his promise in delivering music for the fans who have waited a long time for it. This time, Jay-C calls on another fellow Brooklyn rapper, Miami, to join him on this song along with starfactory finalist, Marina Balan who is uncredited. Jay-C thought to have Miami on the record after hearing her interview some months ago with Ryan Secrest where she shouted the rapper out and praised him for paving the way and his music being the soundtrack of her upbringing. Back in those days, Miami was a struggling female bouncing from foster home to foster home in Miami, Florida before finding stability on Brooklyn, New York, just around the time Jay-C's first single "Brooklyn Girls" skyrocketed. Since then, Miami has risen to the top of the charts and now joins one of her biggest inspirations in what can be somewhat of a dream collaboration for her. Jay-C contacted Miami shortly after the interview after recording the first verse of his fiery new track, but felt Miami would be a perfect fit for the song and Miami of course accepted. The two met up in a studio in none other than Brooklyn, New York and began recording the track. Also in the studio but just a studio cleaner and receptionist, was Marina Balan. Jay-C just casually asked her if she can sing and she said yeah, Jay-C asked her to recite some lyrics he wrote for the song right then and there and when he heard her sing, he knew she would be the perfect fit for the chorus. It was great timing for the ex-starfactory singer who has gone no where since the show ended. And despite being uncredited, Marina Balan's vocals are howling and proclaiming, likened to Aubrey Mikkel, as it mixes perfect with the production. You can tell she took this opportunity very seriously and seemingly as a second chance at stardom. The record itself is a hard hip hop record, that offers a sizzling hip-hop backing beat with trap influences that's dark and edgy, and much more radio-tolerating than Dirty Money. This one's a banger. Marina Balan starts the record off before Jay-C takes the first verse and Miami the second. Throughout the record, Jay-C and Miami seem to be going all out at getting their opinions across about the state of the rap industry in music currently, with Jay-C's being the most opinionated, taking shots at rappers "claiming to be the OG gangsta MC's", as Jay-C says himself, making his presence known as the returning force, seemingly un-impressed by what has been going on when he was away for 5 summers and 5 winters. After the chorus, Miami is heard, her flow is striking and one that's noticeable right from the jump, Miami uses word play to bring in her previous releases like "Pressure" and the chart topping "Highlight", Miami also gets at her dark past of drugs, and depressive disorder, but she also makes it known that she's stronger than ever and ready to go at anyone who goes at her as she aims at anyone who tries to aim at her and even makes it clear that she feels disrespected by something, as she ends off her scorching verse with the offensive Tried to play nice, but they wanna be disrepectful!\|Now I'm pissin on bitches, where the fuck is the urinal". The record continues with Jay-C and the uncredited vocalist doing their chorus parts respectfully until the song ends. "Alright so last time Payton was on a single he had back up features with Matt Young and Kidd Amaze At the Top and it got him his number 1 single Anarchy is his follow up to that and he gives a better feel for what his style is going to be. The Latin influence is good here as it highlights a feature of what Payton is and his heritage. The chorus/ hook isn't great and if possible I would have liked it to be shorter but the verses are good and you can see improvement in structure and rhythm. the content is going to be what you expect, hell I'm surprised he didn't go ahead a name drop me in a diss, but improvement is what matters in music and compared to his early work growth is there. The sight disses in the rap show we have a mutual dislike for the other but as far as lyrics go it was good. The shout out to Liyah and Andrea threesome. brag about way of how great he is. Was this the best rap song this year, no. Was this Payton best rap song, yes. The beat is catchy and punchlines are there and you can get a clear picture of the meaning and what this song is about. There was some doubt on if Payton was going to be a gimmicky rapper but that's not the case anymore problem is if you compare yourself to the greats we first got to compare you to your peers, the Drews, Jay-C, YoungHood, Basically all the people on Kings brawl and then some. I thought this song was good for what it was but everyone claims to be number 1, Really they are fighting for number 2, You showed improvement now will you make other rappers take notice and consider you a threat. I'll give this three near misses. This was the warm up to the album, I expect this to be on the charts high and start this on a good foot, brag rap can only take you so far. "

They're looking at the camera all smiling and radiant. Donna holds a very confident smirk, she looks at the other girls as the music starts. It's the famous beat of Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff'. Brigitte can't contain her excitement and start dancing with her hip and head, she influences the other girls who begin to get to move with her. Lea looks very confident and excited too, she just has a smirk that makes you think she has everything under control and maybe that's because she begins to sing the first verse until the other girls harmonise perfectly on the chorus, while Donna ad-libs with perfectly pitched high-notes. They all have unique voices that blend very well together creating something different. Lea's vocals in the first verse really fit the strong theme of the song, her voice sounds quite rocky and typical 'black'. as the beat goes on again, the girls have fun dancing around a little and that's where the band's energy comes out more. Brigitte tries to steal the attention by making moves at the camera as she gets closer, she looks very camp but her personality shines through. You can also tell by her blonde wig. She's actually a dark blonde. When Lea sings the new verse though, Brigitte goes back to her girls and Lea comes centre singing in full passion. She looks at the other girls and they clap with her. The chorus and the next beat keeps going on like this, with Donna singing the high notes and the girls harmonizing, then back to a new dance fun. This time Emily and Brigitte dance with each other and the other girls just move to the beat, but as the guitar solo comes, Donna can't help herself and pretend she plays a guitar. Brigitte joins her trying to get into her groove in a funny way, she's totally trying to steal the attention. As the last chorus comes the girls all sing together holding each other and standing in line. On the last word they all scream and laugh at the camera. The song is over and as Emily waves, Brigitte screams an 'Au Revoir', the video ends. You tweeted him and he was your ex as we know... Den: Yeah, I mean... (Chuckles) Ciaran is a funny person. You never get bored talking to him, he's very honest too. We actually dated in the past and it's common knowledge that after a few months of dating, we broke up because of someone else. I've felt like I had to apologise to him lately, he didn't deserve what happened, so we spoke again. I was in a very bad place, I think he knows that now. Things change. Chris: And nothin' goin' on between you guys again? Den laughs for a few seconds. Den: Chris I wouldn't tell on here... Chris: Well, you guys can't see but he blushed Den: I know, I know. I just feel embarassed. Well, me and Ciaran are not dating. That's the truth. I've met people saying we should, we looked cute. I could agree on that, but I'm not sure he would. Maybe what happened was too much, maybe sometimes there are people who just move on. I know that he disappeared lately though. I actually asked him to meet sometime, but he hasn't contacted me anymore since a long time. Chris: Well, I guess you're just busy. Den: I don't know, like I said he's amazing but I have no more expectations. I feel like it's kinda hard for him to talk to me again, he's not like before. I just hope maybe we can work it out somehow. Chris: Is that a proposal? Den: No, I mean... (laughs) I mean just at least be on good terms. I find him a pleasing person. I don't set any expectations anymore like I said. I'm just taking anything as it comes, with anyone. I'm just loving my freedom and what happens happens. Tell me more about your music and album. Den: Ok first of all, it's gonna be 'controversial'. It's gonna be about my freedom, it's gonna be camp Pop music for who has ears for it and the eyes to enjoy all the visual that comes with it. It's a new era, I've stopped with the flashy colored style, now things are gonna get more camp and interesting. It will all reflect who I am today. Chris: That's good! Any hint on some new songs? He is looking down, with a frown on his face while walking out of a classroom. As he walks teachers are heard saying "They did it again, there is nothing we can do, he rather defends himself". The kid hears, looks back at them then down again. Other kids are seen laughing and one in particular just looks at him, he looks like a cool, good-looking kid. He smiles but then walks away to play with a girl. What the feeling of the video seems to be giving away is that the main sad kid had a crush on him and just looks surprised to see the other one play with a girl instead, as if finding out he is not interested. All the intro comes to make sense when Den appears in the school walking down stairs, he puts a hand on the kid's shoulder and just smiles. He wears the same clothes, same black t-shirt with a star, which means the kid is Den's young version and the video seems to be a real memory of the singer. Den starts speaking to the kid and the song begins as Den does the intro speaking part to the little boy, who just looks. When the intro ends, the kid smiles and a huge flash changes scene while the beat builds up and a huge room all well decorated with gold is shown. It has a huge pool and Den comes out of it, sort of representing the trasformation. He begins to sing the chorus with various close-ups and different room views. He then walks up in the room where gold statues begin to materialise, they look like muscular men covered in gold. The song then goes on while Den and the muscukar men-statues play a synchronised and well harmonised dance routine until the thirf chorus. Then the beat slows down and with a close-up of Den, there is the Spanish speaking part of the bridge again. While Den speaks with a close-up, quick images of a kid and a older boy with the black t-shirt and star on are shown. They are other bad experience of the singer who is representing how he washes them off. Among these the kids cries seeing his crush again kissing another girl, the same kid watching some of his friends partying while in shock, then a teacher screaming at him, then his older boy version reading bad things on a newspaper, probably about him. The part ends when Den is shown holding a doll which could represent his daughter and just cries looking at a man dancing at other men. When the beat explodes in the last chorus though, the golden muscle men take the same man down in the pool and sort of "suffocate" him, as Den is left alone, dancing shirtless on the last notes. When the song ends, Den is seen from behind walking out of the door and the whole room falling to pieces. Or, better guestS... right, guys? Mind introducing yourselves? Cj: Helloooo, we are The Jollieees. And I'm Cj, dangg Natasha: Hi everyone. I'm Natasha. David: Hii! I'm David, your power boy. Rose: He-...hello! I'm Rose... Zafari: Hey I'm Zafari. Chris: Soo, you guys look pretty excited. You just released your first song yesterday, 'InstaStory'... such an interesting name. Is this your first interview? David: Yup, it is. Rose: I'm shaking totally! Cj: You better treat us right. Chris chuckles. Chris: I will, I will. Tell me about your song? David: It's amazing. We totally confide in it, it was one of the first songs we wrote and recorded when we formed. Natasha: We liked it instantly at first listen. Chris: It's quite catchy, did you guys write it? Cj: Yeaah, of course. David: we did, all together! Zafari: Den helped us too a little, gave us hints here and there. David: Yup my uncle knows his thing. Chris: He formed and manages you, right? Natasha: Yes, he's David's uncle. David: Yeah, he called me one day, back in April. He said "I'm forming a pop band, I was thinking of you" and then told me more about it. I got so excited I joined immediately, I had just graduated and the opportunity came right in time. Chris: That's nice. How did the rest get involved? Cj: My cousin Jo helped Den. He proposed me for the band and I was like yeah, that's my thing. I always wanted to work in the show business thing, always wanted to entertain. You know, I can entertain! Natasha: I was actually contacted by Cj. Zafari too. [Zafari: Yeah] We were Cj's schoolmates, just by different classes and years. I was at elementary school with him. Rose: A-and I was contacted by David, he was my friend back in school. Chris: And so The Jollies was born... What about this name? 'The Jollies' Natasha: Weell... Rose: It's a long story! David: Basically a jolly can be something nice, positive. A jolly can be a candy or even a fun person. A jolly is that card that can be everything in a card game and that is what we are, everything. [Natasha: And more] You can find every type of person in this band, you can find five different people and personalities, five styles, five tastes that are all united by one thing: we are all against emargination, emancipation, isolation. We are against esclusivity. We are inclusive, all of us experienced discrimination in our lives. I've dealt with homophobia, Zafari dealt with racism, the girls had to deal with women discrimination, Cj fought against who'd isolate him for being too hyperactive [Cj: yah, they couldn't handle me]. So we are about putting our forces together, against discriminations. Natasha: I'm also up for animal rights. If I can get to a place where I am able to do something to help our little friends, I'll just do it. Chris: I like that guys, it's such a great message. Let's play your song now, shall we? So guys let's talk a little about your music. How would you describe it? David: Mmm very original and poppy. Zafari: Surely a music for everyone, something that gets to everyone. Natasha: Yeah, it is Pop with a bit 70s, 80s influences, with rap, dance, the music of today too. David: The songs are catchy, they sound quite different and all have their own message. Also one interesting thing is that you'll rarely hear us talking about falling in love, being in love. Just a few times but we're more about independence. Natasha: Hopefully we can inspire people to learn that you don't really need someone else to live happily ever after, you know, like they always say. You can already live that honestly. Chris: So are you telling me that you are all singles and not interested in relationships? David: Exactly! We are free. Rose: I-... I was actually in a relationship a few months ago. I-It ended when I joined the band and I admit it, I was very dependent on him. Thanks to David who is really a strong person and knows how to inspire you and empower you [David: Aw thanks, you're so sweet] I've learnt how... how to love myself and I'm still learning. So I hope to inspire others too about it... I've learnt how important it is... Chris: That is true actually. So you're all not interested in dating, not even a man crush or a woman crush. David: Noo, we don't need anyone! Cj: We're dating each other. Natasha: Eww oh God. Rose: What? Hahaha Chris: Yet you seem very flirty on your tweets, are you denying this too? Cj: Man you can flirt and still not date. I'm just not interested in settling down right now, I'm too young to care. Got a life to live. Zafari: Careers are our dates right now, haha. David: I actually like to tease hot macho superstars on twitter like our Weekend bosses, but that's it. I would never date now, In my experience it would be hard to impress me or, if you do, it's hard to keep up with impressing me more. But I don't care. Chris: By the way, you guys got close to tge Weekend group and they even signed you on their record label Five Pesky Kids. What are they like? Rose: Aw they are so lovely. Natasha: Thry are five different people, with unique personalities but very professional. Especially Scott and Billy. David: Yeah, Riley is such a gentleman. It's sweet. Cj: What's sweet about him David? Did he give you the candy? David: He will, he loves me we know that. Cj: Well, anyway as you know Oscar is my cousin and even if he sucks at football, if he stinks, if he farts and burps I love him like Ronaldo loves himself. Natasha: That's deep. Cj: I know I am. Well that's debatable. I'm partial to a sing-song and make a few coins off of it. Whether you think I can sing or not is very subjective. One of my cats hates when I sing. She gets very hissy. Seriously though, that's the first search? Jeez. "Is Dustyn Blue single?" Well I'm flattered, people of the internet but no, Dustyn Blue is not single. Oooh this one is going to light the comments section on fire. Uh, I was born and raised in a Catholic household. I've been baptised, I've received Holy Communion and all of that but uh...I kind of deterred from all of that as a teenager. I lost my faith. That way of life is not for me and I don't agree or believe in a lot of stuff that was fed to me as a child. I am from a tiny little town called Fethard which is in Tipperary, Ireland. There's a population of like 1,500 and everyone seems to know each other. It is a cute little place to visit but a little bleak to live in. Buses don't run on a Sunday. There's not much going on but the scenery is beautiful. I'm a bit of a divisive figure there. Uh...sometimes I just follow accounts randomly. I like nice accounts. My Twitter timeline is a very positive place. I don't follow any of these "shady" accounts or stuff like that. Just be nice and I might give you a follow! "How did Dustyn Blue start singing?" I started using my grandfather's guitar after he passed away. I pretty much taught myself and got some help from this old and I mean OLD book that I picked up in a secondhand store in Ireland. I just started to sing along and it went from there really. My aunt used to take me around different towns in the summer and winter school breaks and I'd busk. It wasn't even about making a profit. It was just about performing for people. It's a buzz that I can't describe. "How to dress like Dustyn Blue?" Uh...put on clothes? I honestly don't know how to answer that, haha! I don't think that I have a particular style. I just wear what I like in all honesty. "How many siblings does Dustyn Blue have?" I have five siblings. I'm the youngest of six children. My eldest brother Eoghan is 37. My sister Celine is 35. Fun fact; I was actually supposed to be called James. One of my dad's friends, Dustin, passed away while my mum was still pregnant with me and they decided to change my name in that man's honour. Cats. All day long. They're just the perfect little creatures. They're adorable and fluffy and the sounds they make are just precious. They also have that sassy, diva side to them. I know I shouldn't be promoting sugary drinks but my God, it's beautiful. There's nothing quite like it. If you're meaning "adult drinks" then Guinness. Yes, I'm an Irish stereotype. I love it. I'm quite campy and flamboyant so a lot of people expect me to enjoy these mad spectacular colourful cocktails with sparklers but I'm not into that. I love a good pint of Guinness...or five. "What is Dustyn Blue's net worth?" HA! I don't like to talk about money. In all honesty, I don't know the exact figure. Let's just say that I'm eternally grateful for how life has turned out. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of all you guys out there. I definitely owe you lot a few pizzas. "What football team does Dustyn Blue support?" I don't really follow sports. I'm not big on it. Growing up, I supported Ireland. I guess I still do in a sense. I like to hear that they win...which is rare. I don't actively watch or attend games though. The last one! Aw, I've been enjoying these. "Does Dustyn Blue have asthma?" A bit. I've been given an inhaler for it but it's very sporadic. It's nothing major. Thankfully never suffered an attack. My good friend Riley is very bad with it and he says that asthma attacks are the most terrifying thing. "Does Dustyn Blue have autism?" Yes, I do. I'm on the lower end of the spectrum though, waaaaay down. It's different for everyone who lives with it. For me, it's more of a social boundary thing. Been told that I share too much and that I make some people uncomfortable because of how excitable and full-on I can be. I don't even know I'm doing it. I'm just...me! Sometimes Dallas or one of the boys will pull me to the side and tell me to try and tone it down a bit. I just love to talk and make friends but hey... "Does Dustyn Blue speak Gaelic?" Yes! I'm fluent in Gaelic, English, Spanish, French and pretty good at Japanese. That's my autistic mind for ya. I just absorb it all in. My little town is very old fashioned and a lot of people with the native Irish tongue still live there and I'd see it on signs and stuff so I just grew up knowing both. I wanted to make sure Faces told a story, my story that in many ways can apply to others. I've been in the business ten years and I must say "Faces" is my most personal single. Cause ultimately... it tells a story of being in the spotlight and the need of a hideaway which is me deciding to step away from music for some years. I'm sure there's many artists out there who probably can relate to this song, and I just can't put enough emphasis on how much I wanted this song to mean something to people..." - "Hi, I'm Brittany Knox and you're watching Verified" Laughs "It's pretty funny how this song came about. I woke up one day, literally, like it was any regular day and felt like it was just time. I sorta had this epiphany. I felt like it was time for me to get back out there and get back to work. I took so many years off to really just find who I was and be in a quiet space. I think over these years I did enough soul searching to bolster up the confidence again. Now...it's time to get back out to work. I don't think that pressure exists so much so now as it did before, but you always feel that pressure to outdo what you did before.] [Back when I first started out, I was on a mission to be this "super famous" pop star. And in the mist of it all I sort of forgot who I was. [I was super poppy and sexy and played by the rules. The label had a vision, I had a dream and that's where it all started. I was a shameless girl making her way into the music industry. Still, I wouldn't change anything when it comes to my debut other than letting what people say get to me. The buildup really adds to how the chorus breaks. I sat with Sam for a while getting that right sound for the chorus. We added in some camera bits for the “pose..pose..pose” part which really came last minute to give that added effect I wanted the chorus to resonate the song in full. The verses are bits and pieces, and the chorus is like the final puzzle] Public scrutiny, oh the commotion Lost my cool, lost my devotion Fragile little girl, under so much Pressure, just had to hideaway, (Ay,ay) [This verse is in so many ways very diary like to me. Being in those situations where you’re on the receiving end of a negative story really can make you feel fragile so I wanted to include that. I think the straw that really broke the camel’s back for me was when I was on Star Factory and I got into a feud that meant absolutely nothing for me or the show...got blown way out of proportion and I felt like it was time to just step back, and I think it’s that situation that I thought of when writing this part of the song because that was a pivotal moment in my career when you gotta say, I need some time.] [I think there’s other things that went into it too. I think that part is deeper than one may think when you first hear that part. But I wanted to kind of make it so it's like "I see you..." behind the faces. I'm here with you, I know how it feels. I think that part is really me just wanting to connect to listener because I know there's so many people who feel like they can't truly express themselves. To see the reception and how people can relate to this makes me appreciate the fact that I can still be here ten years later and show others that I'm here with them...and at one point I was wearing all these faces without realizing the damage I was doing to myself. It goes to show that you can always end up stronger and to never give up even if you need to hideaway for a year.....or 8 do what's best for you because it's no one elses life, but your own. It's a good and very authentic way of putting across your own ideas of the song and it's something a little different which definitely adds to things. I don't know if it's something that's been done before here because I've missed a lot of rp's in the past couple of years, but it's exactly the sort of thing that's needed here, some fresh ideas of how to do things. Great stuff!

Great stuff! OOC: Thanks so much! I've always wanted to do a lyrics and meaning type RP because I see it so much on the Genius/Verified Youtube channel. I thought it would be cool to do it for Brittany, figured it'd be nice to do something slightly different from the traditional interview RP. I hope to see more of the lyric meaning RP's on the boards now that things are picking up once again. Really appreciate you checking this out :)
