Daniel smirks when Scott enters the room, knowing that he is pissing him off. Just like his father, Daniel knows how to press someone's buttons and get under their skin without even putting a lot of effort into it. He sips some more of his tea before placing the cup down on the kitchen counter. "Don't worry, I'm going back to bed in a minute. Bailey's probably missing me." He winks and walks over to the fridge, helping himself to some meat. Not only was he now showing off his bare arse to Scott and helping himself to food, he is now hinting that he slept with his daughter. Daniel can be a total bastard at times and is in his element right now. "By the way, you don't have to stare at my dick if you don't like it. Just saying, mate." He closes the fridge, taking out the packet of cooked ham and helping himself. Daniel then burps and picks up his tea again, still exposing himself to Scott. "You've got a nice house by the way."

Scott tries his best not to let Daniel get to him. He knew Daniel's game was to annoy him and try to provoke him. Scott never had a short temper, but he was also prepared to kick ass if someone offended him or did something to hurt him and his family. However, when Daniel mentions being in bed with Bailey, Scott feels something snap in his head. He had kept quiet for Bailey's sake, but there was no way at all he was going to let that pass. That was his little girl, and he would be damned if she would sleep with a relative of Billy. Scott watches him, his fists clenched as Daniel goes to the fridge and then starts to eat the ham. Scott nods as he listens to him speak, pretending like he's listening when really he's just trying to formulate some sort of plan of attack. Scott was immaculate when it came to hurting someone. He always knew what his next move would be. Staying in control was the key to winning. He waits for his moment, and then when Daniel looks away for a split second, Scott walks over and grabs his hair, slamming Daniel's head full force into the fridge door. As Daniel slumps, Scott sighs. "Clumsy. You've gone and dented my fridge," he says calmly.

Daniel yells when Scott forces his head against the fridge. He had managed to get his hand out in front of him to stop most of his head from connecting with the fridge door but it didn't offer much protection. This is the first time he has realised just how powerful Scott can be and suddenly regrets pressing all the wrong buttons. Daniel being Daniel, he still won't back down from a fight and although he knows Scott will probably destroy him, he'd rather admit defeat in a fight than walk away from one and feel like a pussy. He turns around and swings his arm out, whacking Scott in the side of the face. Like his father, Daniel isn't very calculated or smart about his attacks. Instead, he goes in all guns blazing and uses brute force. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!!!?" He starts to punch into the side of Scott's head frantically. Being naked and having nothing to protect himself if Scott gets a hold of him, Daniel has to move fast.

When Daniel slumps to the floor, Scott smirks. However, he quickly realises he had underestimated the younger Khan as Daniel leaps to his feet and hits Scott as hard as he can. The scene in the kitchen must have looked quite obscure at the moment - a man of nearly 50 years old fighting a guy in his late teens, who also happens to be naked. Scott shakes his head and touches his cheek, not wanting to let Daniel know it hurt. "Nice shot, kid," Scott smirks before he catches Daniel with a right hook, really putting all of his weight behind it. "Shame you can't punch like your dad though. Might have given you half a chance." when Daniel frantically attacks him, Scott can see that he'll be easy to pick off. Using his forearms to block most of the blows, he periodically steps in to land a punch on Daniel's jaw. "What am I doing? What do you think you're fucking doing? That's my daughter you little creep."

It is early evening and another cold and cloudy day in Hackney - nothing exciting or remarkable happening here today. People speed walk from one end of the street to the other, trying to get everything done before it darkens and the clouds open up. The temperature is also decreasing ever so slightly which is no surprise since winter in the UK is never kind. Despite the hustle and bustle of the busy streets and the endless rows of shops and businesses, this area has a very dark underbelly. Crime rates are high and drug abuse is even higher. If one actually stops to look and 'people watch', they'd see glimpses of it throughout. This is another possible reason why everyone seems as if they're in a rush - this is not a place you want to be when darkness falls. In one of the alleyways, behind the row of Chinese and Indian takeout places is a teenage boy who is part of this dark underbelly and who is getting ready to thrive once the streets quieten down. His name is Billy Khan - a 17 year old runaway. Due to no 'missing' posters or any word of a missing teen, it is clear that he is unwanted. He leans against the wall, wearing a blue tracksuit, scuffed white trainers and holds a blue polyester bag in one hand - one of those cheap bags from the newsagents. In his other hand is a cigarette which he puffs on like his life depends on it. He exhales the smoke and looks up at the sky.

"It's not much, but it's home." It was a phrase that people around these sort of places said a lot. It was a way to try to take the sting out of living in bad areas, even though nothing could surely compensate for having to live in an area like Hackney. For one girl, this could not be further from home, both literally and metaphorically. Andrea Mason, a 16-year old Texan girl who had recently moved to London, was sat on a bus as it meandered its way through the spray-paint laden streets, each one looking as grim as the last. She was quite amazed by it all. Her family had, after all, just moved to Highgate on the outskirts of the city, a lovely place where she imagined one house was worth more than the whole of Hackney. This was different. Everyone here was poor and she was rich, and she was struggling to shake the unease out of her mind when she heard a yell. "Last stop, love!" She looks up to see the driver getting out of his seat. "'Ackney terminal," he says with a smile as Andrea starts to walk uneasily towards the bus. "Th-thank you, sir," she says quietly as she steps off the bus, trying not to look as terrified as she felt. How had she ended up here? Andrea had been on a bus going to King's Cross so she could get the train home, or so she thought. As she steps out onto the street, she looks both ways and shivers. It was cold and she was dressed in just a pair of jeans and a hoody. Alone and terrified, she decides to find a cab, and decides to head off in the direction of the lights at the end of the road, where a Chinese and Indian takeaway are situated.

Billy takes one last drag of his cigarette, trying to savour it as he has no idea when he'll next be able to get his hands on one. He flicks the doubt away before spitting on the ground, looking as classy as ever. He looks through his little blue bag just to see if he actually does have any cigarettes left. Billy is only 17 but is on his way to becoming a classic chain smoker. Seeing him smoke just didn't look right as he is still a kid. Sure he's almost an adult but despite having a wild nature and looking like he knows it all, he still has a 'baby face', still having that slight chubbiness in his cheeks and a look of innocence underneath the scratches and bruises. A lot of people pass Billy and their hearts immediately go out to him because he is extremely young and he is taking his chances in these streets. The junkies and homeless aren't ll one big happy family. They fight for the best spots, they mug one another and will do anything for a quick fix. It is ruthless out here at times. He continues looking through his bag which only contains a change of clothes and a pocket knife. Billy sighs then plunges his hands deep into his pockets to see how much money he had. He looks into his cut up hands - two pound coins, a ten pence piece and a wrapper from a blackcurrant Starburst sweet. Not enough for cigarettes and not enough to get by, he'll have to beg and steal again tonight. The rain is starting to come on, the odd drop falling here and there. He leans off of the wall and starts to head down the alleyway.

Walking down the street, Andrea prayed that there would be a cab waiting to take her away from here, away from the horrors and the nasty smells of this lawless place. Cars were slowing down, sounding their horns at her, men shouting abuse at her. She ooked out of place and she knew it. Her hair was too preened, her clothes far too posh...and clean...for here. Everyone knew she was an outsider, and that would make her a target. As Andrea reaches the alleyway where she had seen the lights, she stops for a moment. No wonder the takeaway lights looked so bright - the alleyway was completely pitch black. As if someone had smashed the streetlights to plunge the place into darkness. And she dreaded to think why. She was not in any mood to take her chance and walk down the alley. There was a section in the middle she couldn't see anything of, and she dreaded to think who might be lurking there, waiting for someone as helpless and defenceless as she was. However, through the alley she can see a few cabs sitting, and she knows that if she can just get there, then she'll be on her road back home, to safety once more. She looks each way as if looking for another way around to the cabs, but she can't see one so she bows her head and starts to walk as fast as she can down the alley, clutching her bag close, even though she had no clue what she would actually do if someone decided they were going to attack her. As she walks, she strains her eyes, sure she can see someone walking towards her. It was almost enough to make her run the other way, screaming. But she couldn't. She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was frozen in place. She was too scared to even run and she just stood there and prayed that she would be alright.

Billy continues walking down the alley with his battered hand clutching onto his shopping bag. It might only have an old knife and tattered clothes in it but they are his belongings and he will not be letting them go any time soon. Junkies around these parts would kill to have a change of clothes and a proper weapon. Billy sees this out of place girl walk towards him. Although not everyone around here dresses like they're homeless, this girl still looks far too classy for Hackney and her decision to walk down this alley alone shows that she is either not from around here and isn't aware of how dangerous it is or she is extremely brave. Judging by the speed she is walking, Billy believes the former. As he moves closer, he can tell that she is on edge. Billy would never just attack someone for the sake of it. He will ask for any spare change, food, lighters and all of that stuff but would only mug and fight in extreme circumstances. Not wanting to scare this young girl of a similar age off, he smiles a little to seem less threatening. "Excuse me...." he is surprisingly rather softly spoken. "Do you have any spare change?". With a very faint hint of a lisp when he pronounces the letter 's' and the youthful features, this guy doesn't seem threatening at all. His hair on the left side seems to be covered in dried blood, causing it to all clump together. His lip is also burst and his knuckles all cut and scrapped, probably from a fight earlier. This may seem intimidating at first but looking at him, one would see he is just a kid. It is a rather sad sight seeing someone this young out on the streets and beat up.

After seeing something moving in the shadows and freezing on the spot, Andrea stood there, her eyes tightly closed as she prayed to not be there and for whoever was coming not to be a rapist or a mugger. It might have seemed pointless to many, but Andrea had grown up in a religious household and she always believed that God could save her if the time and place was right. And if not, at east if she kept her eyes closed, at least whatever was going to happen would happen unbeknownst to her. She just hoped it would be quick. She hears the footsteps get closer. This is it. It definitely wasn't just her imagination after all. There definitely was someone there. It was probably one of them looters she had read about as well when London had its riots. When the figure speaks, she lets out an involuntary squeak of terror and then is torn through by a wave of confusion. The voice. It didn't sound right. That wasn't the voice of a rapist, surely? It sounded too soft and gentle. She realises after a while that she hasn't breathed in far too long, and she takes a large gulp of air, hoping whoever was there would go away. She shakes her head. "I don't have any money," she says. "I don't carry any. Do you want my phone. Here, you can have it. I swear I won't tell anyone just let me go home please," she says, before opening one eye. She is shocked by the sight she sees in front of her. This was clearly a homeless man, but he looked different to any other. Aside from the clothes and the fact he was so dishevelled, he looked around her age, Asian, and he had big dark eyes. She stood there for a moment longer before she brings her phone down to her side. "I'm sorry, I don't have any..." she says again.

Billy looks a little confused when Andrea takes out her phone and begs him to take it from her. A phone would be nice but as soon as he sees Andrea's face, he stops in his tracks. He can't possibly take something from someone so timid, small and especially of the same age group. Having to beg for stuff from people younger than him is extremely embarrassing for Billy as he can see that they are managing to keep on the straight and narrow whereas he has let his life fall to pieces. For a moment, he has forgotten what he even asked her for as he admires this pretty girl with the rather odd accent. It seems so exotic and interesting compared to Billy's cockney accent. "Oh......no worries then." He looks back down at the small amount of money he has and shrugs, deciding that it'll have to do for now. Billy looks back at this girl who is clearly lost. Although she might be terrified, bumping into Billy is probably for the best as not every other person around here is as nice as he is and a lot of them would have very dirty thoughts seeing someone of Andrea's age walking all alone at night. "You...uh...you shouldn't really be walking here alone at this time. People aren't really friendly around here." He says the last part of his sentence while pointing to the dried in blood which is all clumped into his hair, suggesting it is the handy work of a fellow homeless person. "You know where you're going?"

As Andrea looks at Billy, she can barely believe that he was here, even though she was as well. If it wasn't for his clothing, she would be sure that he was as lost as she was. Homeless people didn't look like this guy did. Homeless people were in their 40s, weathered, tired and always looked filthy and ugly. And scary. Sure, this guy was clearly not at his cleanest, but he wasn't intimidating, not to her. He had an exotic handsomeness about him, something that Andrea had never seen back at home in Texas, and for a moment she was totally lost in those eyes. "I'm sorry," she repeats again when he looks at the small amount of money in his hand. She felt immediately sorry for him. It wasn't in her nature to experience sympathy, but this young guy seemed to be alone and although he was clearly putting a brave face on it, Andrea was sure that he was scared at least a little. She nods a little when he tells her she shouldn't be out here. She knew that fine well - and even though it didn't seem like she was in immediate danger, she was still scared. "What happened?" she asked when he pointed to his head. She was concerned for him now. She knew if she was on the streets at her age, which he seemed to be, she would be terrified and alone. "Are you okay?"

Billy can't help but smile when he looks at Andrea. She is so different to everyone else around here. She is stylish, pretty, nice to talk to and has an unusual sounding accent, Texan if he's not mistaken. Most other people around here are either scruffy, drugged up, middle aged homeless guys or washed up, unattractive and overweight women - such a classy place. Andrea is truly a breath of fresh air. Next to her, he feels ten times dirtier and disheveled. "It's OK, I'll ask someone else." He smiles slightly to show that there are no hard feelings. Deep down, he is gutted and isn't looking forward to asking someone else for spare change as not everyone else around here can be trusted. When Andrea asks him what happened to his head, he laughs a little. To Andrea, this looks like a serious and shocking attack but for Billy, this is just a minor injury. "Oh...um, some cunt smashed a bottle over my head. He took kit, thinking it was heroin but it was my insulin." Billy laughs again, trying to take the sting out of the situation. "I'm fine though. So where are you heading? I know these streets like the back of my hand so if you need any directions, just ask."

Andrea looks shocked when Billy says he got hit by a bottle. She had no clue what kit was, but it sounded like someone wanted to take something valuable. She looks at his head and puts her hand up to his hair, moving it a little. "Is it still sore?" she asks, totally forgetting that a few minutes ago she had been so terrified that this guy was going to take her phone or even rape her...or worse! "Maybe you should go to the doctor," she says, before stepping back. When he offers her directions, Andrea looks a little shocked again. "Ummm...welll...." she looks both ways. "I live a long way from here. I was trying to get to King's Cross so I can get home. But the bus stopped here." She narrows her eyes. "How....how about you? Do you have somewhere to go?" She knew it sounded insensitive, but she was concerned that he would be out here on his own, and he seemed to innocent and sweet for that.

Billy moves back when Andrea starts to touch his hair and get a little closer to him. Being on the streets, Billy is only used to people getting up close and personal with him if they are trying to attack him. Although Andrea does not seem like a threat and seems genuinely concerned, he can't really take any risks so steps back a little. "It's a little sore but I've been through worse. Honestly, I don't need to see a doctor. I'm banned from the local health centre for punching one of the receptionists anyway." The rain starts to fall again and Billy tightens his grip on the bag so that his change of clothes don't get wet. "Um, there is a taxi rank just a stone throw away from here. Want me to take you there?" He smiles, looking less threatening than ever. "No, I usually just sleep at one of the bus stops or the old church doorway." Billy doesn't mind talking about his situation, in fact he's just happy to be talking to someone. Since Andrea is around the same age, it gives Billy a feeling of normality for once as most other people he knows are much older and less stable.

Andrea pulls her hand away when he shirks away from her, feeling bad that she had scared him and thinking how ironic that was considering how terrified she had been just a few moments ago. "Sorry," she says quietly. "I didn't mean to do that." She had always heard that you should never act in a way that coud annoy people who were as (probably) volatile as the homeless. "There are other hospitals and stuff though. I mean....you can't just leave your head like that. You could get real sick, you know. Especially from a bottle if it was dirty." She shakes her head a little at him, feeling like he was almost too proud to accept help. But she could see he was worried about the little things like his clothes getting wet, and she felt intense sympathy for him at that moment. She smiles when he makes his offer. "Oh...sure that would be nice," she says gently, smiling when he does. He looked so attractive, even though he was dirty and homeless, and she couldn't help but to stare a little, she was a teenager after all. "That's not...good. You can find hostels and stuff you know," Andrea says as if she was in any way aware of how homeless people struggle.

Billy doesn't really know what to make of the whole situation. Although he doesn't really like people touching him and getting in his personal space, he is sort of enjoying the fact that someone is actually concerned about him - someone who is also devastatingly beautiful. "I'm fine, really. It's just a graze, I've had worse done to me. I'll survive." he says with a little smile to try to ease her. In all honesty, the reason Billy doesn't care about his wound is because he doesn't really care about himself. His life is practically at rock bottom and if he gets it treated, he'll only come back 24 hours later with a more severe wound anyway. He begins to walk, leading her towards the taxis. When Andrea mentions the hostels, he scoffs. All the scum of the day walk in through those doors and it's just as vicious in there as it is out on the streets. Granted, at least he would have a bed but he'd have to sleep with one eye open. "You really aren't familiar with those type of places are you?" He laughs a little and stops before the alley ends. Billy moves a huge, metal wheelie bin out of the way which reveals a black rucksack on the ground. He opens it up and reveals a lot of belongings. From what the light shows, he has a few CD's, socks and pants, a toothbrush and a needle from his insulin kit. Billy sighs with relief and places his small plastic bag inside this bigger one. "Yes! I thought I lost it. This is all my stuff....all I actually have. I try to hide it and not walk around with it all day because someone will try to grab it from me. Had to run away from a few guys earlier and couldn't remember where I left this." Billy picks the bag up and puts it over his shoulder. "Sorry, I don't think I caught your name."

Andrea laughs at Billy's comment that his cut is nothing more than just a graze. It was such a typical 'man thing' to say, and she was sure he was in a lot more pain than he let on, but she wasn't going to push him. "Well, ok then," she says with a little sigh and a shake of the head. She would have been happier if he would go to the hospital, especially since she didn't want to read tomorrow that he had died. That would just leave her feeling guilty. She walks alongside him as he talks and shakes her head again. He was right, though, she really did have no clue at all what it was like in hostels. "No...I've never been in one," she admits as she thinks of her own upbringing, and how she had always been so comfortable. When they went on holiday, they were always in 5-star hotels and their home was huge, it made her feel bad that Billy had nothing while she lived in luxury. She smiles when he finds his bag, but feels awful that it was all he had in the world. "I'm glad you still have it. It would be awful to lose all of your stuff," she tries to say without sounding condescending. "My name....? It's Andrea. How about you?"

Although his head wound is rather sore, it really is just like a graze compared to other injuries he's received over the past year. He has been stabbed twice and been attack with a baseball bat so this is minor in comparison. It seems odd that someone is showing him some concern. His parents, siblings, foster parents and everyone else that should be worried don't give a shit about him, he could be dead for all they know. "You wouldn't want to be in one. They seem like a good idea but all the people in there are feral." He laughs a little and continues to walk with her, enjoying her company. Billy can't remember the last time he had a conversation that lasted more than five seconds with someone. "I can't use a lot of this stuff. I don't have a CD player or game console but all this stuff is mine and I'm not going to give it up for anyone or anything." As they leave the alley, he sees a few taxis in the ranks. Billy opens his bag and takes out a crumpled £10 note. "I keep this stashed in case of dire emergencies...you'll need to pay for a taxi so here, take it." Billy likes Andrea and it must be really obvious. A homeless guy would not give the little money he has to just anyone. "That's a nice name. I'm Billy. Billy Khan."

Andrea had never really experienced pain, so what Billy was going through, she had no real clue. She smiles a little at him when he tells her that he hated the hostels again. "I'll keep that in mind in case I ever have to go to one," she says with a little smile, hoping immediately that she didn't take offence at her comment. She is shocked when he hands her some money, but she takes it from his hand, looking up at him. "I can't take this from you," she says softly. She had never had anyone be so kind to her, and especially not someone who should have been trying to take care of himself rather than looking after her. He was so sweet and clearly a caring individual, which just made Andrea feel worse that he was out here on his own. She looks down at the money and then back into his big dark handsome eyes. "Will you at least come with me then? So you can have a shower and something to eat? That way I can feel less awful about you giving me your money."
