The album will be released on Novemeber 28th 2015 and will be available worldwide through Kaleidoscope Records. The album features production from producers Bobby Blanco, Melanie Houston, Brandon Grey, The Dream, L.A. Reid, Vincent Herbert, Yellow Claw and Johanna Renman, and writing from Aliya Rose, Melanie Houston, Brandon Grey and Rani Shreela. As already noted, Secret. is the follow-up to aliya's EP 'Party Is Over'. The EP was a success reaching platinum status and getting amazing to good reviews. Through the EP the hit-single 'Let Them Know' got released, reaching since the release double platinum. After the release of the EP, Aliya went stright to the Studio and started to record & write new songs. It took 3 months before she recorded 20 full songs, but feeling not good with the finished product, Aliya decided to reach out to other songwriters. After a few talks with Brandon Grey, the finished product 'All My Dollas' featuring Cosma Mendoza got included into the album. When she was about to announce a release date, back in June, aliya found out that Synco rejected a song, which got Aliya interested. After only a few phonecalls, Melanie sended the song to Aliya, who released the song as the lead single in July. 'Baby Boy' became a success, reaching the top 5 and selling over 1 million copies. Even though Aliya released the lead single, it didn't stop her to change the album. She replaced songs over songs until the song 'Stars' was created. Stars got released as the second single and became her most successful single to date, reaching the #1 and selling over 3 Million copies. After the success of Stars, Aliya finished the album and announced that the album would come in November. _______________________________________________________________________ COMPOSITION & LYRICS Musically, 'Secret.' is a Pop/R&B album but has influences of various genres, including EDM, Dancehall, Reggae, Soul, Acoustic. As noted before, The album shows a huge range of diversity, showing off Aliya's vocals in every type of way. Lyrically, the album is heavily inspired by Love, Men, Intimacy & having fun. It was released on July 7th 2015, as the lead single to represent the Album. The song was written and produced by Melanie Houston, who actually wrote the song for "SYNCO". Synco rejected the song because it was 'too sexual', after being rejected, it got send to Aliya, who took the song for her own Album. "Baby Boy" is an up-tempo Dancehall song which incorporates elements of raggamuffin. "Baby Boy" starts off with the "Eh Eh's" and a catchy beat. 10 seconds later, the actual song starts with the Chorus, sung in a raspy and icy tone. After that, the first verse starts with "Tonight you gon' do it how I want it/Tonight you the servant I'm the queen yeah", the verse ends and the song continues with a catchy bridge. The brigde gets followed by the Chorus and after that with the second verse. After the verse ends, again the Bridge starts and gets continued with the Chrous. After, the chorus, the third verse starts, with the same tone as the ones before, and gets followed by the Bridge and Chorus. Ballad Songwriters: Aliya Rose Producers: Johanna Renman "My Heart Will Remember" is the seventh song on album and shows again a completly different side of Aliya compared to the previous songs on the Album. It's completly stripped and raw, showing off Aliyas raw and emotional vocals. The song was written by Aliya and is basically about the end of a relationship. The refrain states, "My heart will remember you/My heart will remember us/We loved, it was supposed to be forever/Forever we said, Forever we wanted/Even if I try to forget", which basically means that even if it's over, her heart can't forget everything. Her love for 'him' is too strong for that. The song got produced by Johanna Renman, who played the piano in the background and matched the vocals to the piano.
