Culture Uncut has been a staple of the music industry for almost a decade now and it's growth from a small online news entertainment website into the multi-million dollar company that it currently is today has been a truly remarkable rise. Like all entertainment news sources we can admit that sometimes we get it wrong but looking back over the years, we'd like to say that our success rate in the stories that we've broken to the world is pretty impressive. As with any venture, there are things that we'd definitely go back and change if we had that opportunity to do so. But at our very core, our primary aim has always been to bring the news of the entertainment industry to those that wish to keep up with what's going on in this crazy world. This includes stories that have been tough for us to post about for whatever various reasons, but we'd like to think that we've remained unbiased over the years and despite the many times when we considered not bringing a news story forward due to it's nature we've always remained true to our core aim which was to inform people about what was going on in the industry.

Coming up towards the ten year anniversary, Culture Uncut has always opted to remain as it has always been. An online news website for fans of music and entertainment. But in the past six months, discussions have been had about expanding the company beyond it's online limitations. Recently you've seen the news website being given a partner website dedicated to music reviews. This was the very first step to the bigger plans that we have for the company moving forward and the response to our reviews section have been wonderful so far. But in an industry that is once more thriving and showing the sort of life that it used to have when the website first launched all those years ago, it seems that the company must become more ambitious and must look to itself to help the industry thrive too. The first major step is the launch of the Culture Uncut magazine, beyond just your standard news and reviews, we'll be aiming to go more in-depth with the artists you know and love.

Beyond this magazine there are also a number of other projects being planned but unconfirmed at this time, those plans include an annual summer festival and an annual awards ceremony among others. It's truly shaping up to be the biggest year for Culture Uncut. As our audience continues to grow we'd quite like to grow with them and one of the things that we'd like to see happen is for the company to have a bit more of a personal touch with our fanbase and this will hopefully become a reality with the launch of the summer festival as well as special evenings dedicated to artists where fans can come and interact with their favourite artists. Again, these plans are at an early stage and we're always looking for more ideas to expand Culture Uncut, there are many options on the board at the moment, ranging from the aforementioned fan Q+A evenings, weekly TV series whether that be a chat show, news show or a more light hearted sketch show featuring some of the biggest names in the industry. We're also looking to expand as a production company and bring career retrospectives to the fans in the form of informative documentaries. But as previously stated, these talks are at an early stage with nothing yet fully confirmed which is why your input as an audience is as important now as ever before. Feel free to use your many platforms to voice which ventures you'd most like Culture Uncut to move into and bring to your eyes and ears.

So without further delay, please enjoy the opening issue of the official Culture Uncut Magazine. Here's to many more.

Page 02 - What's New?

Thriving is the music industry at the moment, rising up from a time when it was dead on it's feet. It appears that we're heading back to the days of creativity, craft, competition and a little chaos. Gone are artists like Vanity, Stephanie Fierce, Infinite, Mind, Katie Coyle and Glamazon and we're given the opportunity to see the likes of Andrea, Suzie, Joshua Grimmie, Payton, Elyar Black and Savannah Haim attempt to fill that void among others. It's in a different landscape today and personally I never say that it's better or worse than before, it's just different and if you're willing to adapt to change then you'll find something out there that is new and speaks to you. You just have to learn to look in the right places and we know that can sometimes be difficult.

So with this in mind, myself and Culture Uncut have worked together to try to bring you a comprehensive list of relatively new tracks for you to check out in today's modern music climate.

Riot! In The Boulevard - “Nomads”

“We're given the final offering by a band that was there at the beginning of the boom. It's an emotional one as Amy sings lyrics drenched in nostalgia, talking about how the years on the road have tested her and how the simplicity of herself and her friends playing in her bandmates garage back in their home town of Las Vegas seems a million miles away from where they are now. It may be tough for people to embrace the idea of the band calling time but after the career they've had together, they've earned the opportunity to relax or try a different avenue. They've grown up a lot over the years and the music continued to get better and better as they went. Their last three albums were triumphant in every way possible and the growth in their musicianship and songwriting is unparalleled for me. The shift from short catchy songs on their debut album to the grandiose and eloquent on their final album and single is remarkable and they'll be a sure-fire miss for the industry. One of the last rock bands in town. Let's hope we can see a new generation come through to fill the void.”

Andrea - “Boots”

“For me, 'Boots' is the song that I'd point to if someone from an older generation asked me what best represents how contemporary music sounds and feels like today. I'd point to Andrea in general and tell them that's the direction they need to be looking in. She may have her little bit of crazy but I think beyond that is the epitome of a 21st Century babe. She's not afraid of what people think, she's unapologetically sexual and embraces her sexuality and desires freely, she fights for what she believes in and believes in all the right causes. Standing up for the LGBT community, a proud and strong supporter of animal and human rights and she has a massive heart that some narrow-minded people tend to look past. They see the naked photo shoots and the risqué sexual connotations and form their opinion based on that. Look deeper and there's somebody with something to say. I'd go as far as to say, the voice of a generation. The voice of the modern world. Her album is shaping up to be the best of the year and “Boots” is pure unashamed 2019 pop. I'm in the love with the woman and you should be too.”

Sabina - “Morning Sun”

“Women are taking over once more and it's fucking beautiful to see. Sabina returns with “Morning Sun” and again, it's an ultimate pop song. This one shows a little more reliance on the love and affection of a man which is a pop music trope from many years ago, it's a theme that won't ever die but it's given a modern twist to it through Latin pop beats and a sultry and sexy vocal delivery from Sabina. If a factory was created to build the perfect woman from the ground up, I think she would take the form of Sabina. I think this song is certainly her best so far as I thought previously as good as her music was, it felt a little unmemorable to me. Perhaps because it came out at such a crowded period of time it was easier for it to blend in. But in early 2019 with it being one of the first releases of the year, it's given a chance to shine and it shows the remarkable talents of an artist that deserves more credit than she gets. Again the women are taking over.”

Younghood - “Anyway”

“It's interesting to see how the music industry works in 2019. It took Payton taking shots at Kidd on the Suzie feature, “Dirty Little Things” for Younghood to sit up and take notice. His response was simple, “That's what we're doing now?” and before you knew it, a brand new single was released by Younghood and the 2019 rap scene was kick-started. It was a solid response from Younghood with the repetitive hook, “I don't fuck with you anyway.” it pretty much says everything that was needed to be said. Rap beefs are entertaining from the outside looking in. There's a lot of flexing but the truth is that Payton and Younghood are from very different lanes. With “Anyway” it feels like a more old school rap song, bringing to mind the work that was crafted on Dr. Dre's album “2001” with it's aggressive delivery. A solid start to the year for the rap and hip-hop scene. No doubt.”

The Harlots - “Who Gives a Fuck What it's Called?”

The double single by The Harlots include both, “The Proper Care of Potted Plastic Plants.” and “Hmmm, I can't look at my Ikea artwork the same ever again.” and it's as weird and wonderful as you'd come to expect from a band as iconic and unique as The Harlots. Lyrically they stand alone and have always stood alone, the opening line, “I'm the himmler of hydrageneas. I'm the stalin of snap dragons.” creates imagery that only they could conjure up. And the story of the second track is again full of The Harlots unqiue mind-set, it's a track about spotting the same Ikea wall art that you have at home in a porn video and the emotional distress that this causes. It's fucking bonkers but it's glorious at the same time. The Harlots are definitely an acquired taste but when you acquire that taste, it's so damn delicious.”

Savannah Haim - “Smoke”

“Savannah Haim is a peculiar one. She seems to tread the line between country and pop in a way that feels completely different than people have done before. It doesn't have the blandness of a country-pop stalwart like say a Carrie Underwood. But she has stated that this is about as pop as she can get with her music, so perhaps a one-off. But what a one-off it is. It's chorus is so simple and straight out of the pop songwriter handbook, “Baby do you smoke?. Cause I smoke too. Maybe you could use a bad habit. And I could use you.” but it's southern rock instrumental backdrop and strong country vocal seem to contradict such pop songwriting. As has been the case with Savannah early in her career, there is still an element of the unknown. She has a strong career ahead of her for sure.”

Talking about music and trying to explain why it has the effect that it has on you is a weird thing. I think it's far to primal to be fully explained and I think the different elements of why a song catches your attention and affection make it almost an impossible job. Whether it be a heartfelt lyric that speaks directly to you or your situation, reminds you of someone or something or just moves you in an unexplainable way. Or the actual music, whether it's a beat or a guitar riff or a melody. I've tried to pick five songs that stir something within in me, for hopefully different reasons and I'll attempt to briefly explain why these five songs ignite a fire in belly like no other.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?”

“I don't exactly know why, but something about Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty's voice has always stirred something within me. It's not that unique a voice and yet a Creedence or Fogerty song is instantly recognizable. I like the lyrics that come with it and it's melodic flow, the main lyrics from the song, “I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain?” is as simple a song lyric as you can probably get and yet it says so much. It's open to interpretation but for me, it's a very human song. It says to me, you go through ups and downs through life, it's a major part of the life experience. Much like the weather, you get the sun and the rain, the good and the bad.”

Johnny Cash and June Carter - “Jackson”

“This one is easier to pin-point my fascination and love of it. It's the trading and contrasting vocals between Johnny Cash and June Carter. It's a relationship song, it's THE relationship song in my opinion. As Johnny sings about bailing on their struggling relationship “Ever since the fire went out.” and hitting a town known at that time for it's fun times to be had, but June clearly the wiser of the two retaliates, “Well, go on down to Jackson; go ahead and wreck your health.”. It's a beautiful song and probably the truest interpretation of a relationship as I've ever heard on record. He has his ego and mentality and she has her attitude and sass. It's beautiful in every way.”

The Rolling Stones - “Wild Horses”

“This one is very much melody driven for me. It's a beautiful song to play and sing and again it's the simplicity in it's lyrics, “Wild Horses, couldn't drag me away.” As much as I'm a fan of their early blues influenced work, I think when they went a little more country, it was something else for me. I'm a fan of bands that can weave in and out of sub-genres and still remain very much themselves and I think The Rolling Stones did just as good as anyone in their prime. This is just beautiful acoustic guitars, melodies and lyrics. It's a reigned in Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and that may be my favourite version of them, musically.”

Roy Orbison - “Oh, Pretty Woman”

“That opening riff. I could probably just leave the analysis at that to be honest. Roy Orbison was played a lot at home during my childhood and he always seemed like the least coolest person in the world. As I grew older, I realised he was such a smooth bastard. All of his music seems so simple and like it was the easiest thing to write, but I think that's part of his brilliance.”

Bruce Springsteen - “Reason to Believe”

“It's brutal and it's real. It's dark and angry. Pissed off and rock and roll works so well together and this is one of my all-time favourite songs from one of my biggest inspirations. It's stripped to basic elements and it gives the lyrics the room to settle into your psyche. “At the end of every hard day, people find some reason to believe.” it's the sort of song that when you first listen to it, it's words creep into your head late at night when you're trying to sleep. It's a song that comes to me when I'm feeling a little restless. It's not the prettiest but it's necessary.”

Payton takes nasty dig at Kidd Amaze on Suzie's fiery new single

Payton wasted no time getting dirty on the pop stars comeback single "Dirty Little Things".

UserPostedImageUserPostedImage

It's already the new year and it seems as if the fists are already coming out in Payton world. Last night Suzie's heavily hyped up comeback track "Dirty Little Things" was released worldwide and has been met with (surprisingly) positive reviews. Many have been applauding the songs infectious beat, Suzie's personality tinged vocals and the team of Suzie and Payton being the main selling points of the track.

However, many fans did notice Payton's boastful second verse and the nasty dig toward fellow rap counterpart Kidd Amaze. In the song, he uses Suzie's fondness of Kidd Amaze, who at one point had a song coming out with her, to give his own opinion of the rapper. If you didn't get a chance to hear it you can hear the juicy audio below:

Yeah my **** game strong and my flow deep
Assault and battery on every single *****' beat
She say she luh da Kidd, but he don’t Amaze me
Been At The Top when it comes to rap ****
Every single song that I touch is classic
While these ***** fallin off like backflips

In the scathing rap verse, Payton raps: Assault and battery on every single *****' beat/She say she luh da Kidd, but he don’t Amaze me, prompting fans to not even have to guess or make inferences. It was more of a direct, confrontational shot toward the platinum selling rapper.

Many fans of Kidd Amaze were left very upset with Payton for going at Kidd Amaze on the song. We witnessed fans on social media calling Payton "problematic" and the dig being totally "uncalled for". Payton's fans were quick to rush to his defense, where they applauded the diss and took it as being a witty, comedic rhyme and that fans shouldn't be so sensitive about in a competitive environment like rap.

But why the dig in the first place? We do not have any information on whether or not Payton and Kidd Amaze have had tension behind the scenes as of late and the two did work together on At The Top which did cause a bit tension and fan wars between the two artists on whether or not they were taking shots at eachother on it. The rappers have never publicly applauded each-others work or shown any animosity toward eachother aside from Payton blatantly calling him out on Dirty Little Things.

What do you take of this? Do you think Payton's dig was meant to be disrespectful, and would you call it uncalled for like some fans or would you say it was harmless and whitty? Let us know below!!

JOSHUA GRIMMIE HOSPITALISED AFTER GANG ATTACK

UserPostedImage

Controversial singer-songwriter, activist and social influencer Joshua Grimmie has been hospitalised, Culture Uncut reports. The 21-year-old suffered trauma to the head, several wounds from a small blade and multiple broken ribs according to an official spokesperson from his team. Grimmie was aided by passersby, who stumbled upon the scuffle and frightened the hooded youths off. Joshua was said to be concussed and bleeding from his head upon intervention. While no official charges or confirmation has arisen, there is strong speculation and accusations being aimed towards rapper Payton Rodriguez.

Witnesses state that the Puerto Rican rapper was in the same vicinity, partying at a nearby club with fellow family members and his entourage. Rodriguez was said to be celebrating the launch of his record label, La Familia within the same time frame as Grimmie's attack. Multiple reports have emerged from those on the scene stating that a bunch of hooded thugs associated with the Rodriguez clan were the ones responsible for the seemingly unprovoked attack on the artist. JT Rodriguez, the youngest cousin of Payton and Reuben, is a name that has been brought up several times since the brawl ensued. Many claim that he was on the scene and prominent in the ambush, trying to remain disguised as he jumped Grimmie. However, Joshua's team have yet to press any sort of charges or even confirm his involvement in the incident.

What sways many to believe that the attack is the doing of Payton and his army is the ongoing feud between the rapper and Joshua which erupted earlier this week. In the past, Joshua has slammed Payton for "cultural appropriation" and for being "ignorant" but the fire wasn't fueled until the release of Dirty Little Things, a Suzie track which Payton features on. Grimmie had taken offense to a particular word in the song.

Quote:
JoshuaGrimmie: And when @ThatKidPayton says "ninjas" he really means....?

While no further explanation was given, many believe that Payton substituted this word in the place of a far more offensive racial slur. It is not the first time Rodriguez has used this alternative in one of his songs. While there is debate on how offensive "ninjas" actually is, it is clear that it rubbed Grimmie up the wrong way. Rather than spark an intelligent debate or even a typical back and forth argument on Twitter, Payton cut to the chase and responded bluntly.

Quote:
ThatKidPayton: @JoshuaGrimmie Wana fite?

A few more shady and indirect tweets followed from both parties but things took a dramatic turn when JT Rodriguez allegedly threatened Grimmie via his direct messages. Joshua then took it upon himself to call out and challenge the youngster publicly. The details of the message have yet to be revealed but the tweet still remains on Grimmie's profile.

Quote:
JoshuaGrimmie: Don't threaten me in direct messages @JTRodriguez. It's weak. I'll turn my location on if you and your cousin have something to say to my face.

It is believed that the cousins did eventually take it upon themselves to fight with Grimmie, although unfairly as the attack included weapons and the singer was vastly outnumbered and not prepared. Until another statement comes from Joshua's team, this is all alleged for now. Payton and JT have also yet to break their silence on the matter.

At the time of writing this article, Joshua is said to be awake and responsive but battling a lot of pain and is in a high dependency ward due to the trauma to his skull.

Brittany Knox has announced her first single
in over eight years.

The once controversial pop superstar is set to make a comeback with new single, “Faces”.

UserPostedImage

It seems as if 2019 is the year of comebacks, and it’s no different for multiplatinum selling recording artist Brittany Knox who has just announced her first single after nearly 8 years!

Knox took to Instagram to surprise everyone with an Instagram post, unveiling the artwork to her new single entitled “Faces”. The song features popular rap artist Payton which comes as no surprise to some since it seems Payton has become the new trend for returning pop stars looking to get back on the charts. On the other hand, the collaboration may be surprising to some as it'd be interesting to hear what the two of them whip up as Brittany Knox gets ready to re-introduce herself back into the industry after such a long time.

Brittany Knox debuted back in 2010 as the hyper sexualized synth pop songstress. She released her debut single “Leather Love” in the summer of 2011 and Brittany Knox along with the song was instantly panned by critics and celebrities for being "over-produced" and "manufactured". Her debut album "Mannequin" was met with the same fate. For those who don't know, Brittany Knox emerged during a time where hyper sexualized artists were frowned upon and were looked at as completely and untalented. Since the debut of Brittany Knox, sexualized artists like Suzie, Andrea and many more more have emerged and have attained success for things Knox had been criticized for back then.

Unfortunately for Knox, it took her an entire year, and the release of 2011's "Halfway There" (which saw Knox completely change her sound to something more contemporary (released in 2011) before Brittany Knox became a respected artist. Soon after, Brittany Knox settled herself as an established and formidable act. During this time she collaborated with artists like Miss Vanity, Jason Smith and many, many more. However, it's the song "Desert Paradise" from her third album that really set Brittany Knox to be a massive artist and is the song most people remember Knox for, second to the very controversial "Leather Love".

Her third album EPOCH and her stint on two seasons of Star-factory saw Brittany Knox under the public eye once again, especially after a nasty feud with Tisha Jackson and after her second stint on Starfactory, Brittany Knox disappeared off the face of the earth, and for a long while with no explanation aside from letting fans know that "she needed time". Many people have pointed it at the fact of the harsh reality of fame.

Today Brittany Knox announced her comeback to the music industry after posting this photo with an emotional caption from her official Instagram:

UserPostedImage

With that being said, the last time Brittany Knox was active, music was in a completely different climate. It'd be interesting to see what she cooks up in 2019 as it's officially comeback season! With Platinum records, award wins, controversy and a long hiatus, the now 31 year old is set to return back to the spotlight this week.

We're interested in how the song will sound considering Brittany Knox and Payton are two different artists.. Let us know if you remember Brittany Knox ans if you are excited about her comeback!

Page 06 – Feature - The State of Live Music

UserPostedImage

The modern day landscape of the live music industry has taken a rather large decline, this is due to a number of different reasons. From the rise of music streaming accessibility, Spotify Sessions, Live Lounge among many other similar platforms. We're now at a point where an artist doesn't have to be a great live performer in order to be successful. Some artists choose not to tour and instead rely on social media in order to help promote their music and although this is not ideal for music fans, it's definitely of benefit to the labels and performers themselves. Yes, the amount of money that was being received through touring was the primary source of income for many artists and it had been that way for generations. But because of ad-revenue, labels and artists have found that a strong social media following and the right promotion can bring in just as much income as live tours could in the past. When you factor in the cost of planning out a world tour and the stage show to go with it, along with the wages of the entourage needed in order to make sure a live performance goes to plan, it's no longer financially viable for the industry to rely on live performances.

This only affects one group negatively and that's the fans, although artists still tour, it has now become a lot more infrequent but it's the fans that are missing out. From the weekly, montly or even yearly anticipation of getting to see you favourite artist or band perform live to the memories that will live on forever in their lives. The stories that they can no longer tell as they grow older. A new generation of music fans have started to miss out on these opportunities due to the way that the music industry have gone. From a traditional stand-point, this is not a great trend to be happening. I understand that the music industry is very much a business, but it's happening at the neglect of the people that the music has always been aimed at.

Now I don't know if the modern young fan is actually hurting from this current trend or if the social media element to their favourite artist is enough to numb the pain of rarely if ever seeing their favourite artists perform in person. Because the truth is that they probably feel closer to the artists now than they ever have, their constant tweets keep them informed on what's going on. There's also more of an interaction likely through social media than it is from the stage. But it's something worth keeping an eye on in the industry. I know there are artists out there that still conform to the whole, album, tour cycle. Weekend for example, the biggest act in the music industry have always toured in support of their work and have probably the biggest fanbase in the industry. This proves that the rewards are there. It's easy to call it laziness, but that's not the case. Some artists are in an unfortunate position where a tour wouldn't be financially viable for the label behind them and therefore have no say in whether they bring their music to their audiences. Others are lucky enough to know that they will sell-out every single show on a tour and can make seven figure sums in the process.

There is no right or wrong way to do this in the modern music industry, but from a personal point of view I hope to see touring become as prominent as it once was.

Page 08 – Main Feature – Andrea

ANDREA: STRIPPED BACK AND LAID BARE

UserPostedImage

Driving through Hollywood and up into the hills, the blazing sun seemingly getting a little hotter and hotter the higher we get. We're into the territory of the very wealthy and celebrated as I arrive at the home of possibly the most talked about star in the industry these days, “Andrea”. Clearly being the topic of conversation is treating this young artist well as her home up in Beverley Hills is as close to perfect as you'd expect from a huge celebrity. The type that you'd only usually get a glimpse at on news reports or shows like 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'. It's in a gated community and has some beautiful trees that rise above the home and add to it's beauty. As I drive up to the gate, I'm buzzed in from the intercom and make my way up the large driveway towards their home.
As I get out of the car, I'm greeted by the sound of dogs barking and can hear Andrea's southern accent in the background, she saunters out of the front door and the dogs come hurtling out to greet me, “Fuckin' dogs” she says with a warm smile as they jump up to greet me. She corrals them and gets them back inside before returning to greet me, “Hey boo! Come on in”.

As we make our way inside the home, you can see that the untouched perfection stops at the outside. The home feels lived in, as you'd expect with a bunch of dogs and a six year old child. But it's well decorated and has Andrea's personality all around the décor. There's many photographs of the family which add to the warmth of the home and seeing Daniel's toys scattered around the place add to the human aspect of the inside of their home. It's a nice aspect as a lot of these homes look barely lived in. Andrea brings me into the large open living area before briefly departing to bring a couple of drinks before we begin our interview.
She wanders back in and is dressed casually, wearing torn and frayed denim shorts and a plain white vest with a denim jacket with cherry blossom prints sewn into the material. Her knee high white boots are heard on the hardwood floor as she makes her way through the halls. She places the glasses down on the table and takes an elastic hair tie from her wrist before putting her short hair into a mini-ponytail for the interview. She smiles and appears full of energy, “OK, so let's get down to it. Let's spill some tea, bitch!” she says as we begin the interview.

Even by your own standards, it's been quite an eventful few months for you. We'll get to the new music soon but there's something that needs to be discussed. Your current relationship status has puzzled a lot of people. Could you explain your “open relationship” situation a little further?
I get a lot of questions about that. A lot of people think that it's about foursomes non-stop. Bitch, I'm only one little woman! Yeah, it's non-monogamous but it's not as sleazy as people make it out to be. I'm still with Payton and I see him as my boyfriend, my lover but this allows the four of us to switch it up from time to time and just show a lot of love to one another. All four of us are important figures in my son's life. We're all in this crazy industry and have a lot of close connections and similar experiences. It's more about unity, security and in a way it's a new definition of family. 21st century lovin'.

I think what surprised people the most about that news report was the fact that this involved your ex-husband 'Bilal Holmes' and his current husband 'Jerry Holmes'. Does this not bring it's own set of emotional difficulties?
It doesn't. I thought it would but it works well. We've all grown, know exactly what we want and there's familiarity there. We know what will rock each other's boats, how to avoid that and if something did go awry, we know how to fix it. The thing is, there's no pressure with this. If one or two of us want to walk away from it, it's cool. At the end of the day, I have Payton and Billy has Jerry. This open relationship is just an extension of the love. It's like a freakin' crossover sitcom episode.

It's also well established that your own marriage with 'Bilal' had it's fair share of drama and difficulties. How would you describe your relationship with your ex-husband now?
Oh we know each other inside and out. When we were initially together it was HELL. We loved each other at our cores but the baggage on both of us was too much. I was going through depression, self-hatred, confusion...I was an emotional mess. I struggled with my sexuality, my weight, basically every teenage struggle only amplified by Hollywood. Billy wasn't diagnosed with his behavioral issues back then as well. He'd be manic and scare me. I'd be snappy and confuse his mind. We've seen each other at our lowest. We've had a baby together. We've grown from fucked up teenagers to adults. There's nothing to hide from one another. Nothing we do can shock each other. It's familiar. It's easy.

And what sort of effect does this have on your current relationship with 'Payton'?
Payton is so fuckin' chill, man. Like I said, I'm still with him. He lives with me, he comes to bed with me, he wakes up next to me, we love each other. That's what matters. He and Billy clashed in the past but that's history now. We're all just merging ahead and being grown about shit.

You've called it an 'open relationship' does this lead itself to including other people or is it fixed at the four of you? It was heavily talked about that 'Payton' and 'Suzie' had strong chemistry and neither shied away from the talk on twitter recently?
Well the actual relationship is the four of us. If one of us wants to do something with someone outside of the group, it's fine. Sometimes bringing in an outsider is exciting. It's a kink for some people. If there's anyone else brought in, it's only on a NSA basis. I have enough birthdays and Christmases to buy. I'm not bringing in no other bitch for life. It's not for everyone and I get that. A lot of people will be reading this and saying "Ewww, what the fuck? They're so gross!" and I get that. It takes a certain type of person to commit to something like this. We're all very open minded, have a healthy attitude towards sex and we know where we belong at the end of the day. Other people, well most people, prefer the one-on-one intimacy and it works for them. Our scenario works for us. Do whatever works for you and your partner...or partners. It's all about love and respect. There are many ways to show that.

Does this have an effect on your son 'Daniel'? Do you not worry about how this understandably confusing situation could bring it's own set of complications in his life as he grows older?
This has actually been easier for my lil' nugget so far. Having all his parents and guardians around, the fluidity of it all...it makes him feel at peace - wanted. He had a lot of abandonment issues prior to this. He felt unwanted and tossed around from one set of parents to the other and way back then, the four of us had a pretty fractured relationship. Daniel was at the epicenter of it and I think that he felt responsible in his little mind. He also has ADHD and having a solid group of people around him who know how to handle and talk to him also makes him feel more at ease. Will it be awkward for him in the future? Maybe. Will he have questions? Definitely. We will always be honest with him and respect how he feels, however. We share our lives and our truths with the world, we can't exactly hide it from our kid and deny him the truth. We're all very happy right now and that's the main thing.

You've been through some tough times during your music career, but it appears that you've found your way. Do you feel like you're now happy and settled with who you are as a person?
Oh, definitely. I mean I could evolve into another version of myself 5 or 10 years from now and look back at 2019 Andrea like "girl, what the fuck?" but that's life. We learn, grow and evolve. I'm heading into my mid-twenties. I'm in a happy relationship. I've really settled into the role as a mother. I feel...comfortable. I'm over the struggles of the teenage years and the fear of early adulthood when you don't know what the fuck is going on and what you're going to go. In the last 18 months or so, I've really got a handle on this shit and I'm starting to ride it out and navigate things. Going smoothly...so far!

UserPostedImage

You've actually become a bit of a role model in recent times, championing LGTBQ causes among other things and giving support to your fans that are looking for support and guidance. Do you feel like this is the most important aspect of your position in the industry?
Yeah, for sure. I mean it's not even a conscious decision anymore. Before, I would make a point of talking about a specific topic or group and I'd have people in my team try to block me or warn me about how saying something could have a negative impact on my career. Now I just am. I'm the embodiment of "other". I'm bisexual, I'm in an open relationship, I talk freely about sex and all of that is seen as taboo, especially for a woman. I just live out my life and flip the bird to the bigots and oppressors and that in turn inspires others. Sometimes I have to take a backseat and think "wow, I'm really doing this!". I'm living this life, helping others to blaze trails and it's fuckin' sick.

Again, looking at your growth over the years. You've gone from a timid and emotional young country-pop singer to someone who does exactly what she wants to do and does it with confidence. What do you think is the primary reason for the change over the years?
Life, baby. It puts you through the worst shit and either kills you or makes you a bad bitch. When you've been at rock bottom the only options are to die or rise up. I've had mental breakdowns and I have a fuckin' publicly documented suicide attempt. The whole world has seen me at my worst and when you've been that broken, transparent and scrutinized, you sort of lose the shame and the fear. I've been in the darkest and I know how your life can go if you lay down to others and let everything get on top of you. I don't wanna go back there. That's why I just live to the fullest now. I'm a fuckin' free spirit. I've been battered, bruised, broken...I've seen it all. I know what darkness is out there in the world and this industry and so I chose to be the exact fuckin' opposite.

Let's talk about your latest single, “Boots”. It's already hit the number one position on the singles charts and has been heavily praised. What's the inspiration behind the song?
Well that one was written by horny Andrea. There are lots of different sides to me as a person and a writer. They all make appearances on the album. "BOOTS" is just a straight up, no shame, "fuck me right now" track. It's about feeding that inner animal and fulfilling exactly what you want to do right there and then. You just have to have your man or your woman or whoever on the SPOT. I don't care if you have to leave in 45 minutes, I don't care if we just changed the sheets, I don't care if I have to leave my boots on...we're doing it, hun.

The album which that track is from, “Southern Belle” was announced quite a long time ago. What's the situation behind the delays?
Some of it was down to the label. Some of it was my doing. There were a whole combination of things behind all the delays. The original version was very much a rebellion record. It was "I'm a bad bitch" and "I'm gonna say what I want". It was kinda controversial for the sake of being drastically different from my debut. It was also an excuse to work with some dope artists just because I could. After sitting with it, I realised that it was kinda faceless. I wanted the album to be like a rebirth of Andrea, not a robotic clone replacement. I started to write more, tap into my feelings and get personal again...then I found that incarnation of the album to be TOO raw. It seemed whiny and a bit depressing. It took a while to find the right balance between who I was as an artist, what I wanted to share about my life and what selection of songs would work well together. Took like four years but we here!

Have you had to completely re-do the album or does it remain the record that you announced a couple of years ago?
The first incarnation was TOTALLY different from the second. The one that is being officially released is the third draft of Southern Belle. Third time lucky, right? It's a combination of the first two versions I recorded alongside a bunch of new stuff. It was sad to let some songs go because, as much as I loved them, they didn't fit the album and some sounded really dated and weren't worth going over again. Previous singles "Force" and "Something For The Fire" return and there are maybe five or six songs that have been locked in for years appearing on the album but the bulk of it was recorded mostly in 2018.

And what's the general tone for the record? We're living in a world where peoples attention span is becoming shorter and the emphasis of the singles are some would argue more important than the album as a whole.
Well the album is 18 fuckin' tracks long so they betta pay attention! Seriously though, I know it's a different world now with streaming and albums usually coming at the end of an era to tie things up rather than at the start now. I just thought that since I've been away for so long, I might as well deliver a whole fuckin' MEAL of an album. Different flavors for different tastes. The songs work well individually as they cater to different palates and it works well as one entire project as there is a story from start to finish. Like I said earlier, there are different sides to me as an artist and person and they all come through on the story of this Southern Belle. It starts off with me wearing a mask for the masses while in a bad relationship and follows the journey through the break-up, recovery, self love, friends and female empowerment, being single and freaky again, finding someone new, settling down and reflecting on everything. By the end of it, there is no need for a mask and the smile is genuine. There are so many little chapters and pockets of this album. I can't wait for people to dive into the world of this Southern Belle.

Albums in the pop field tend to have a team behind them now. It's rare that an album from a solo artist these days has only the artists hand-prints all over it. Did you try to keep the team aspect to making the music at a minimum and who did you work with on the record?
Well I write all my shit. People forget that I am a singer-songwriter. I start off with my guitar and build from there. There is the odd occasion where I'm hanging with a producer and they'll play me something that I work on but for the most part it's from the ground up. I'll pen down like a loose melody or structure, big chunks of a song or even just an idea and a vibe for a track and then I'll bring that to whoever. Sometimes I go to other songwriters to help finish the lyrics or I go straight to a producer and sometimes the beats they come up with help trigger new lines and melodies. My art starts with me and the collaborators are people who I've invited to my table.

Any big collaborations and features?
Oh hun, I'm so fuckin' happy that I can talk about this now. Been holding it in for so damn long! Well the single "Something For The Fire" returns for the album and Billy is on that one. Keeping it in the family, his younger brother Deneil is on a track too. I adore that guy. Talented, unique and his accent is sexy as fuck. My baby Payton is on TWO tracks and he fuckin' kills them. Look out for those ones. I have YoungHood on a track. I think he's a very underrated talent and the speed he works at is phenomenal. I sent him the song and gave him a brief outline of what I wanted and by the end of the day, he had sent back his verse and we kept it exactly as it was. No need to tweak anything. There is also a BIG female power collaboration on there. I invited Suzie, Amy-Jayne and Mariko to sing on a track called "Pussy Power". It's a combination that wouldn't seem obvious but that's why I approached these wonderful, talented ladies. I wanted to bring different worlds together on a track that unites and shows love for women.

So let's map out the next year for Andrea. What's in store for the rest of 2019?
Well I have the album coming out. It's been a long time coming so I'm going to savor it for as long as possible. I want a lot of singles and videos. This project means so much to me and I want to explore as much of Southern Belle's world as possible. I am looking to tour as well but that may be next year by the time we plan and sort everything out. It's a big album with many sounds and stories to tell so it's a matter of trying to do it justice when translating it to the stage. Obviously being a mom is going to throw unexpected twists and turns my way too. I'm excited. 2019, bitch. It's gonna be THAT year.

Confirmed Releases

Andrea - “Southern Belle”
Perhaps one of the more anticipated releases of 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 is Andrea with her next effort 'Southern Belle'. It's possible that this could be this century's 'Chinese Democracy' at this rate, it's been so plagued by issues behind the scenes which has delayed the record year after year. However, this doesn't stop it from likely being one of the biggest sellers if it does come out this year which we have been assured it will. Previous singles, 'Force' and 'Something for the Fire (feat. Billy)' topped the charts which proves our theory. Far removed from the light country and soft rock elements of her debut album 'In And Out Of Consciousness' (2014) it will primarily feature RnB, Hip-Hop and Trap. Fans have been clamouring for this for the longest time and we not only think that this one will be finally released this year, but if supported by Five Pesky Kids the way that it should be, it will certainly be a monster hit and could dominate the industry this year.
By Brianna Harrington

Billy - “TBC”
This one should perhaps be taken with a pinch of salt as we've been told it'll be released this year but because of circumstances surrounding the release of a new album by Weekend we'd be tempted to say this one could push into late 2019 or perhaps early 2020. We've heard that the solo album is almost finished and although we've not heard anything from the record just yet, judging by his track record as one of the most successful guest vocalists we'd expect huge things when this album and it's subsequent singles do drop. He's been involved in three number one singles outside of Weekend, with mISTER-b (The Energy), Andrea (Something for the Fire) and Deneil (Take Aim). It's reportedly influenced by late 90's/early 00's pop and RnB with Billy stating that the likes of Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Brandy and Timbaland were influential on the sound he was going for from this upcoming record.
By Brianna Harrington

Blake – “Rewrite”
The arrival of Blake's solo album “Rewrite” could be one of the first albums from this list to be released, it's been delayed for some time now but the former member of 'The Zone' has been working hard on this one. It's likely to be released independently and has been confirmed to be a more laid back pop record which is a refreshing change of pace in today's industry. The genre's listed for the record include, soft tropical pop which gives an indication of the mellow sound that you can expect from the release. It's also confirmed that the album will be more of a concept album centred around one relationship which will include all of the ups and downs of falling in and out of love and the lessons learned from that. The first single from the album was “Who Do You Love Now?” which peaked at number four. This album is my pick to be the sleeper hit of 2019, the record that defies it's modest expectations and ends up dominating the industry.

Elyar Black – “Expectations”
With the release of “Expectations” from Elyar Black it's an opportunity for him to truly make his mark in the industry with his sophomore album. In a crowded pop field, it's difficult to stand out and I feel that this is something that has plagued what is a very strong artist in the past few years. To just look at him you'd be forgiven in thinking that he's the pop superstar of the music industry, but I'd say there's always been something missing from the jigsaw puzzle that we just can't seem to put our fingers on. The announcement of his album, “Expectations” and it's early 2019 release in February, the potential of this being the first major album to drop this year, coupled with the backing of 'Five Pesky Kids' which is the most dominant record label at the moment could be the key to Elyar Black's true breakout year.
By Brianna Harrington

Ellie- Grace Summers - “Mantra”
This next album has very little confirmed about it so far, so here's what we know. The album will be titled “Mantra”, following her debut and sophomore albums more country-pop vibes it looks like she's taking that next step wholeheartedly into the pop field leaving behind the innocent country girl image that she had early in her career. It's been rumoured that she has a collaboration with Billy Khan on the record which would certainly confirm her plans to breakthrough as a pop superstar in 2019. Again, if done right, this could be an absolute monster-hit that we could be talking about for years to come. I personally think moving away from the country element will only help Ellie-Grace become the sort of mainstream star she's always been capable of being. Possibly the record I'm most looking forward to.
By Brianna Harrington

The Harlots - “TBC”
As with the previous selection, very little is known about this potential release. The Harlots are an act that tend to do things on their own schedule so we could see a release this year as it has recently been hinted at or we could possibly see it seven years time. Either way, I'm here for it. colour me intrigued.
By Brianna Harrington

Joshua Grimmie - “GOLDENHEART”
Again, it looks like this one has very little information confirmed. I believe it was initially supposed to be a re-release of his monster hit “PROCELAINHEART” which has now developed into a full-length follow-up. Joshua Grimmie is a prolific young artist with something to say and a passion to say it. Whenever something drops I certainly expect it to be gold. Every year that we head into, it's always intriguing to me to see what Joshua is going to do/say. So this one for me is something I'm highly anticipating.
By Brianna Harrington

Khalil Ferreira - “Pulsate”
Turkish producer & DJ Khalil Ferreira is set to finally unleash his debut album, Pulsate, onto the world this year. Initially penned for an early 2016 release, Khalil released a collaboration with The Stat Nerds member Brian B. titled "Halcyon" in late 2015 which would go on to become one of the biggest selling tracks of the year and reach the summit of the charts for 4 weeks. A #2 collaboration, "Tribal", featuring Deneil followed a few months after. Dissatisfied with the rest of his material and fearing the pressures of racking up more successful dance-pop radio hits, Khalil scrapped the project in order to work on more "organic" material rather than chart buzz fodder. Ferreira returned to the top of the charts with Elyar Black in tow on the heavy house inspired "Lonely Hearts Club Excerpt" late last year. The underground club sound was an unexpected success for all involved and has whetted our appetites once more. "Pulsate" is set to include a plethora of musical guests stepping outside of their usual comfort zones.
By Carly Eyre

Kidd Amaze – “Sides”
Possibly the heaviest hitter in the hip-hop world returns with his third studio album "Sides" in 2019. Kidd Amaze is taking on the mammoth task of following up his critically acclaimed sophomore album "The Rappers Handbook" which still holds the record for highest debut sales at #1, a whopping 490,000 copies. The rapper grew up in front of the world, growing from a budding and motivated newbie to a rap legend before us. While his last album was aimed at musicians in the hope of inspiring some, "Sides" is "for everyone" in Kidd's words. The title comes from the idea that we all have different sides to our personalities that come through due to different situations, company, emotions and mental health state. On this 14 track project we are set to hear about his rise to becoming an icon and all the differing voices he's heard, the setbacks he has endured and all the sides of being and becoming Kidd Amaze.
By Carly Eyre

Lincoln - “Sorry To Interrupt”
Lincoln Theo Keaton-Paria, known mononymously as Lincoln, will be dropping his long-awaited debut album "Sorry To Interrupt" this year. The project initially launched in early 2016 and the young heartthrob came out the gates swinging with his record breaking and chart topping single "Bang The Drum". The video alone is a pop culture staple, featuring a bunch of famous faces and racking up over 4 billion views on YouTube. Industry downtime and some financial troubles at his label Permanent Reminder pushed the project back until now. The all-singing and all-dancing youngster stands out for being an unapologetic pop star. When others shy away from such a bold claim and believe "pop" is a dirty word, Lincoln makes no bones about his mission and his influences, drawing on the synthpop sounds of the 80's and the choreography and commercial branding of teen pop idols of the 90's as his inspirations. Buckle up for some new pop bangers.

Payton - “Payton Season”
"Payton Season" is the long awaited debut album from Puerto Rican rapper Payton, a divisive figure within the industry and pop music zeitgeist itself. Love or hate him, there is no denying that Payton Rodriguez can churn out catchy tunes and radio staples like it's nothing. Bordering on explicit urban rap and pop radio friendly melodies, Payton has carved out his own lane and bridges a difficult gap in demographics. These initial hits and successes seemingly weren't enough for the rapper as he pushed back the project just weeks before intended release in order to write and record even more material and potential crossover hits. With two songs in the top 20 despite being over a year old, a handful of #1 hits and a hot new track with Suzie already to his name and potentially making appearances on the project, it's safe to say that "Payton Season" is going to sucker punch us all on first listen.

Riot! In The Boulevard - “Young Cardinals”
Plagued by delays, "Young Cardinals" was set to be released back in 2017 but nothing ever came to fruition. For a band known for their productivity, this was bizarre for Riot! In The Boulevard but fans stuck it out and waited with bated breath. The eventual announcement of the album's release alongside its tracklist was a bittersweet moment, however. The iconic pop-rock band announced an indefinite hiatus and stated there will be no tour in support of what is, for now, their final album. With personal life struggles and line-up changes, Riot! has been the subject of a lot of media scrutiny and debate regarding their future and relationships within the unit. The band have finally decided to lay everything to rest but not before releasing an 18 track scrolling epic of an album, due on February 2nd 2019. "Young Cardinals" features a deluge of singles such as the titular track, Comeback Kids, Swinging for the Fences and the latest announcement, Nomads, which closes their final set.

Savannah Haim - “TBC”
The currently untitled debut album from Savannah Haim is one of our most anticipated 2019 releases. It has been quite some time since a promising new songstress has risen to public consciousness and Miss Haim has certainly launched from the starting line at tremendous speed. While her first two singles "Young Love" and "Talk is Cheap" are concurrently top five smashes, the success is far from random and Savannah has not been grabbed out of thin air. The singer-songwriter has been involved in music for as long as she can remember. From singing in her church choir to recording backing vocals for some of your favourite artists, Savannah has done all the groundwork and navigated her way through the industry to the position she's at today. With her experience, talents and relationship with Brandon Caulfield keeping people talking, this is certainly going to make for an interesting affair. The album is set to be released through Southbound Records this year.

Suzie - “P.O.P”
An acronym for "Princess of Pop", it's clear that subtly and humbleness are not Suzie's bag. This is further fueled by lead single "Dirty Little Things" featuring Payton and as the title suggests, it's not for the faint of heart. With the recent chart revival, indications show that pop music is on the up as opposed to the R&B, alternative and hip-hop trend that last dominated. Suzie is smart to start making moves now, combining the successful elements of the last musical trend with what is hot at the moment, bridging the gap. Once seen as a novelty act, Stockholm has built a strong fan base for herself and is now considered one of the biggest and most bankable acts within the pop field, delivering dancefloor fillers aplenty. Not much else is known about "P.O.P" as of yet but we are sure we'll be shaking our rears from start to end.

Victoria Black - “VB”
With "VB", Victoria is finally becoming the pop star that she always wanted to be. Her first offering since becoming a mother to twins sees Miss Black showcasing a far sunnier disposition than previous efforts. Black has admitted that her debut album "Hush" (2011) was the result of too many cooks in the kitchen and follow-up record "Beautiful Mess" (2014) was darker in tone- the result of frustration with a former record label. "VB" was mainly recorded in Sweden and features a multitude of bubbly pop offerings with, in her own words, "no woe is me relationship songs!". With themes of love, motherhood, female empowerment, sex, and natural highs, the record is reflective of Victoria's life at the moment. She's living her best one. Even the playful album cover, which is far more colourful than her previous two, showcases that she's looking on the bright side now. The album is set to be released via Five Pesky Kids and contains the #1 hit "Religion" which features none other than Kidd Amaze.

Weekend - “TBC”
Industry giants Weekend are rearing to release their third studio album, fourth release if you were to include the expanded version of their debut, in the spring of 2019. The as-yet-untitled project will be the group's last before a hiatus in order to pursue solo projects. The band have reassured fans that they are not splitting up and, as they own a label together and have such a brotherly bond, it won't even seem like they're away. Launched with lead single "Victory", which topped the charts for 4 weeks, this new project is said to be "darker", "rawer" and "more personal" in tone. Weekend have been lauded for straying from and twisting typical boy band tropes in the past. With a conscious effort to craft a far more mature record and drawing on their colourful personal lives as inspiration, we can only imagine the delicious content they're about to unleash this time around.

Page 10 – Getting To Know …

Recording or Performing Live? *smirks* you tell me. when was the last time you saw a new harlots release? i actually hate recording. i'd be totally happy being in a tribute band for the rest of my life. something really cheesy, like all those crap nirvana tribute acts. i'd do it really distastefully too. like perform with make up to look like i'm missing part of my head or something. recording just seems like work and a rip off actually. if people actually buy our work,it feels like we're just selling photocopies of something real. nah. come out and and see us. who knows, one of us might be topless. sex sells, but who's buying?

Morning or Evening? well,at one time i would say evening. only squares go to sleep when its dark outside. but...nowadays i've been spending more time at home. being a mother,i cant have a 4 year old up at all hours with me. so i've grown to enjoy the wee hours of the morning. a cup of tee and the morning dew...perfect!

What is your worst habit? i'd have to go with being cuter than average people. its like i dont even try,but there it is. staring us all in the face. though some people say i make everything about me. and i think that is total bullshit.

What is your favourite song of the moment? oh definitely "have you seen my sister evelyn?" by evelyn evelyn. it sounds straight out of that cuphead video game and is sung by what is supposed to be conjoined twins. how could you not love that?! oh and one of them sounds like a certain someone i used to know who's name will not be mentioned here.

What is your favourite song of all time? "oh bondage,up yours." by the x-ray spex. this is the song that made me want to be in a band. to this day i still want to sing like poly styrene. its just so....its like a buzz saw that has come to life, fed a steady diet of frustration and set loose.

What is your favourite artist/band? oh, definitely the short lived operation ivy. my entire career i've tried to capture the energy of that release. we've got the shitty recording down. but song quality and feel? that still escapes us. i know jesse michaels was into zen for a while. i fucking grew up in that stuff! so im not sure what i'm missing.

What is your favourite movie? the rocky horror picture show. if this isnt your go to role for tim curry? well, then i dont know what to say to you. when i was a little kid,i thought women were supposed to do their makeup like dr frank n furter and was always trying to get my mom to do her eyeshadow like his. she never did.

Describe your perfect day? *clears throat*
Just a perfect day
Drink Sangria in the park
And then later
When it gets dark, we go home
Just a perfect day
Feed animals in the zoo
Then later
A movie, too, and then home
Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on
Just a perfect day
Problems all left alone
Weekenders on our own
It's such fun
Just a perfect day
You made me forget myself
I thought I was
Someone else, someone good
Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow

cmon, i saw the joke and i had to take it!

What is your best childhood memory? whew, there were so many. unlike a lot of the degenerates in this biz,my sister and i didnt have some screwed up childhood. no. we had like a perfect one. but if i had to pick just one,it was when my brother had me call this girl he was obviously intimate with "my baby sitter" when his actual girlfriend came by. sure,at the time i was like 6 and didnt know what was going on. but looking back? that was pretty funny. jigen was always scheming in some way or another. i fucking loved him. another funny time was when i was around...17? maybe. i "had" a girlfriend over and my mom walked in on us. she simply just turned on her heels and went to tell my father. "well,we dont have to worry about hitomi becoming pregnant.", i could hear my dad calmly reply," i could have told you that,honey.". aww. my parents were just the best. they would come to every show the harlots did back in the day. which was a riot in and of itself. you could tell they hated every minute of the music and being in a ratty little club, but they were proud of me.

Tell us something nobody else knows about you? i once ate 4 pounds of swanson's salisbury steak in a single sitting. what? that shit is good. not juicy gossip, but i bet you didnt know that.

If you could date anybody in the industry, who would it be and why? ugh, i would try not to! are any of us sensible people?! but for the sake of conversation: mercedes payne. i want to know just WHAT she actually does. i think she releases less music than i do. i know she isnt on the road much...well,on the road doing music. plus...shes hot. so there is that too.

What would be your three wishes? one:to finally win sexiest female award!!! this is really important to me and it never fucking happens. people love me for my mind, but cmon! love me for my body! love me!!!! two: if i can get serious, that my daughter will never have a life like mine. i've run the gamut of the human experience and i wouldnt recommend it for anyone. sometimes what you put in a meat grinder becomes lovely sausage....other times,it becomes slop for pigs. i was lucky to be a big ol,meaty sausage. ok. my serious bit is over,i tried. third: that this interview was as good as the old one i did. oh,i still remember wanting diarrhea vision so i could take down my enemies and cause a whale to soil its tank. but.,..im older now and have matured. ok,i still want diarrhea vision for my third wish

Would you rather have worldwide success or true love? i've had both but until recently never at the same time. so...being greedy, both is the way to go. but to not be cheating with my answer,i'd say love. you can work the shittiest job and have the shittiest life, but if you have someone who cares about you? it makes it a little more tolerable. success with loneliness eventually catches up to you. i wouldnt want that. im a social butterfly.

What do you think happens when we die? when we finally leave this mortal plane. our corpse occupies two realms at once. the one we are in now and another, similar plane. but in this other plane, huge beings roam the earth and grab dead bodies. these beings, who look not unlike 150 foot tall asst football coaches, will squeeze the deceased until their essence comes out. this essence is then deposited into small mason jars and put away for 300 years. in this 300 years, the essence forgets all of its previous experiences and is ready for deposit in a new body. the beings then put the jar in a slingshot and fire it towards our plane of existence. that tingly orgasm feel? that is the jars passing through your body. these beings are notoriously bad shots,so thats why sometimes pregnancy is hard to achieve. im not starting a cult or anything,so feel free to spread this mythology on your own.

What are you five life goals? i may get a bit more serious here, but. one:finally feel like i'm doing right in the world. two: release the DEFINITIVE harlots album.i've yet to be happy with any of them. three. be as good as a mom to taki as mine was to me. four: to hopefully one day let my friends know just how much they mean to me. and finally just live the best life i can.

OOC: Thank you! It was a little rushed in parts because I just wanted to get the first issue out and see how it looked. But I'm happy enough with the results of it. It was tricky trying to put everything together, so I don't know how often I'll be able to do this. But hopefully there'll be more soon!
