I'm trying to change my avatar, but it always leaves me with the old one, no matter how many time I've tried.

I haven't changed my avatar, I can only change my sig. I try to change my avatar, and it always defaults back to the original. I click "update" once I've chosen my picture, and it shows the new picture on the avatar changing screen, but when I click "back" to exit the page so I can go back to the forum, it defaults back.
