PopCrave: Reuben Rodriguez has officially inked a deal with Dahlhouse Entertainment. He has signed both a management and distribution deal with the company. This means he has officially cut ties with Red Light Management, who handled his career during the Nickelodeon era. ChartNerd: It is SCIENTIFIC fact that Dustyn is the best/most important member of Weekend. He is one of only two to have lines in every single song, he plays a multitude of instruments in the studio and onstage, is one of the most known faces on the planet and he has written or co-written like 90% of Weekend's material. Without him, the band it is today would cease to exist.
ChartNerd: Billy is second. Not as musically inclined as Dustyn but he adds the magic and star power. His striking look stands out, his voice is more leaning to R&B with its silky smooth tones while the others are either more pop or rock leaning, he is the most followed member and certainly brings the attention and publicity. Removing him would lose Weekend's wild edge for sure.
ChartNerd: Oscar is third most important. He was the original lead singer and poster boy and to an extent, he still pretty much is but allowed the others more airtime on the About Time record due to issues with his vocal chords. Oscar WAS the band in the early days. He dominated the tracks and attracted people with those curls and cheeky grin. Most fans got into Weekend BECAUSE of Oz.
ChartNerd: Riley comes in fourth. He's still a very talented guy but took longer to flourish. His unique voice adds a quirky aspect to their sound and the power behind it is very underrated. He is the level headed one. They may have imploded by now if he weren't there to diffuse things. Although the "good boy" he also adds a certain sex appeal to the band with THOSE muscles.
