There already is a pirate version in gtav. You must complete the main storyline,then erase your save data. After you confirm deletion,a box will appear with " ye be ready to plunder some booty?"
Los Santos will now look like a sprawling Caribbean village. All cars will be horses and boats will be galleons.this also opens up an entirely New storyline with Trevor Phillips as the protagonist.

Recently I have been watching the TVs series black sails, and I was wandering would it be a bad idea to develop a pirate game that includes your own ship etc
