Vara laughs and shakes her head at Mariko. "God, you're heartless. I love it," She comments when Mariko speaks of Emerald so forwardly. Honestly, she had never met the woman, but anybody who accuses somebody else of ruining their life because they gave them a blow job - like Emerald did with Kai - really didn't totally deserve to live in Vara's mind. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen, or something like that. "I know I like my Kobayashi." She winks and leans back, taking one of the pieces of ice and sucking on it almost sensually enough for it to be construde that she was flirting with Mariko. "She was really nice, actually. I think I kind of freaked her out at first, but she was nice. She thinks like I do, you know what I mean?"

Vara grins at Mariko and listens as she sucks on the ice cube a bit more. She knew what she was doing to Mariko, of course. Vara always knew what she was doing. Mariko may be her best friend, but that didn't mean that she wasn't going to have a little bit of one-sided fun with her. "People say that about me all the time. They see pictures of me and think I'm a bitch, and then they meet me and find out that I'm actually much more of a bitch than they realized." She giggles and winks. "But really, though, she was sweet."

Vara becomes bored of the ice cube game when Mariko drops her foot away. If Mariko wasn't going to play, then neither was she. "Is that really a question? Of course people think I'm a bitch. Right off the top of my head: That Yasmine fool who dares to call herself a musician. She thinks I'm a bitch, when it was her that busted up my face, thank you very much."

That same Vara grin appears on her face when she feels Mariko's foot against her calf. Hook, line, sinker. Vara always knew how to win. "I'm glad you took my side in that whole Yasmine debacle. She's insane. I'd hate for you to have to get your face sliced up to see that as well." She giggles. "I'm suing her for all that she's worth - which isn't a lot, I might add. That dumb bitch."

Vara lets out a small screech when the ice cube goes down her shirt, right in between her boobs. "You bitch..." She purrs at her, giggling and then leaning over. "You're going to have to get it out." She sighs and touches her own face lightly. "I didn't have plastic surgery... does it look like I did? I just had to have some microdermabrasion to get rid of the scars. Does it look bad? Tell me the truth."

Vara puts on a little pout and then leans over again, getting the ice cube out of her clevage, but giving Mariko a fair show. "Thank you, baby... I've been self conscious over it for weeks now. I feel like everybody can still see the scars. Makes me angry just thinking about it." She smiles a bit at her friend, a small quiver going through her body when she whispers. She turns her face, running her lips just across Mariko's cheek before pulling away from her, a grin on her face.

"Awww," Vara says, touching Mariko's hair lightly. "It makes me angry just hearing about her doing that to you. You know, her brother is just as fucking weird. That whole family needs to be exterminated, I swear..." She shakes her head. She giggles when Mariko admits that she's hot. "Bitch, I know..." She says back with a laugh and a wink.

OOC: Always thought that Nichole and Erica was the most accurate portrayal of female friends, but I think it's actually Mariko and Vara now.

Vara wraps her arms around Mariko. The idea of losing Mariko was insane to her. She couldn't even imagine it. "I want to kill him now. I had no idea he had done something to you as well. Ugh. I just want to kill him." She kisses Mariko's shoulder lightly and sighs - the kiss a mixture of friendliness and sensuality. "I love you. I couldn't stand it if either of them hurt you so badly that you wouldn't be able to perform anymore. I'd cut off their balls. Just slice them off."

Vara squeezes her. "Stop it. I probably would have done the exact same thing," she admits, kissing the top of her head softly. "Emerald was scary. Like, AIDS scary. I would be too afraid that I might somehow accidentally swallow some of her blood or something." She shivers. The thought of even touching Emerald made her sick. "No, Emerald had balls. That woman was fucking manly. She wasn't even pretty. At all."

OOC: Ugh, shit. I always forget about when she was going to kill herself. That got dark. That was a dark period in their friendship. lol

Vara shrugs and shakes her head. "Yeah, that was probably for the best. God, Emerald was scary looking. I have no idea what Nina saw in her." She orders another round of drinks for shits and giggles and then lights up another cigarette. "Um, yeah! Of-fucking-course you're hotter than Emerald. What the hell kind of question is that?"
