"Magie?" Kellin asks her. "Nice to meet you too, very nice actually. Yeah? I'll be honest, I was scared that some awful fat woman was gonna walk in here, but, no. You look very pretty," he compliments her, before he takes a drink. When she asks him if he sings, he laughs and shakes his head. "God, sing? Believe me, if you hear me sing you would run a damn mile. No, I play guitar in a band. How about you? What do you do?" Kellin relaxes a little, feeling like the ice had been broken now and that he could enjoy himself. Magie was glamorous and stunning, and her eyes were so pretty he felt he could get totally lost in them. She had a real charm about her that was attracted to already.

"Wow a singer huh? I figured you must be like a model or something." he knew it would sound corny, but he wanted her to know he thought she was pretty. "So what was your band called? I might have heard of them." He takes another drink. He felt really relaxed now she said she was a singer too. It felt good to be talking to anotger musician. "Me? Oh I play in a band called Juneau. Don't worry, no one has heard of us yet. We're only really known back home in Chicago." Kellin chuckles a little before smiling warmly at Magie. It seemed to be going well and he was really glad.

Kellin raises an eyebrow, looking impressed. "Shit, really?" he says with a laugh. "Wow of course I know Electrodeath. So I'm sitting here with like a bona fide superstar? I'm honoured." He grins at her, he really was quite impressed. He had expected to be sat opposite some little fat woman who sells deli meats in a supermarket and here he was with a gorgeous famous pop star. He thinks about her question for a moment. "I guess it was the rock band curse. Most of the females I meet are fans of my band. 18 year old girls with big hair and too much makeup. I thought if I did this I might meet someone more mature and attractive. And I did. How about you? What made you want to do it?"

Kellin smiles and takes a drink, nodding knowingly at her comment. "Yeah. I think dating someone who sees you more of a prize than a person is a negative for anyone in any line of work. We just happen to get a lot of them in rock bands." He shakes his head and laughs a little. He listens to magie explaining why she had been single and decided to come here and looks impressed. "You seem like one of the sensible ones, then. But 27? I wouldn't believe that for a minute. You don't look a day over 21, Magie," he says flirtatiously. "Do you get a lot of shit from the paparazzi then? I can't even imagine how awful that might be." He laughs when she says she might be boring him. "No....no not at all." In truth, he could listen to her accent all night. It was soft and way different to anything he had ever heard before. "So where are you from, then?" he asks.

Kellin laughs at her answer. "Ah come on, no way. You still look all bright eyed and bushy tailed like a college student. Look at me, I'm 25 and I look like I haven't slept in about eight years." One of the most charming things about Kellin was the fact he was unaware of his own attractiveness. He was by far the hottest guy in his band, and the one that got all of the attention from the girls, but it never really sunk in with him. "Brazil? Nice. I went there once with my family. We went to that big Jesus thing on the hill and the whole Rio carnival. Have you been?" He was getting quite chatty now as he relaxed more, sitting forward a little in his chair and making more eye contact with her.

"Yeah, I'm 25," he chuckles. "But a few years of being on the road and driving through the night in a cramped van may have added a few extra bags under my eyes." When she compliments him, he pretends not to notice at first, giving her a little coy smile, but then he shrugs slightly. "Thank you, that's very kind. And of course, you are very beautiful yourself. I'm sure you know that though," he says nervously again. "Cristo Redentor? I'll remember that so I don't call it Jesus on a Hill next time," he winks. "What is in the south is it better down there?" When she talks of moving to America, Kellin smiles. "The land of opportunity, hey? What one did you choose to live in then? I've lived Chicago like my whole life." He notices Magie looking a little nervous, so he looks down at the table before lifting his gaze again to look into her eyes. It was early still, but there seemed to be something of a spark between the two.

"I'll remember that one," Kellin jokes with a little wink again. "Chicago...? There's not all that much to know. Although I've lived there all my life, to be fair. The skyline is awesome, though. Very impressive and you can take like boat rides to see all the historic parts of the city as well. It's quite romantic, apparently. I've never been on one." He nods as he listens to her. "I've never actually even been to LA. is it like everyone always says? With all the bleach blonde hair and the surfer dudes everywhere?" When she mentions her family, he smiles. "That sounds really nice. It's always good to remember where you come from. I guess you'll never stop loving Brazil, huh, even if you don't live there? Oh they do? Well I can see that one person from the south at least is beautiful." He smiles at her little joke. It made him feel like this was going well that she wanted to joke. "My band? Hmmm.....it's a complicated one really. You know pop punk? Like Blink 182? We mix that with like metalcore stuff with a little bit of screaming and growling. We're a bit of a weird band, but hey, at least we're unique, right?" He chuckles. Describing what Juneau sounded like was one of the most difficult parts of being in the band.

"Deal," Kellin says, hoping she was serious about going on a boat ride with him. It seemed like it would be great fun. "I might check out LA sometime. I have a few friends who went there to be actors. I'm not sure if they made it out alive. They like to party." He chuckles softly. "Sometimes I feel like I would like the fast-paced lifestyle, but I've never tried it. Chicago is less hectic. Unless you're a Blackhawks fan in Stanley Cup season." The way she blushed every time he complimented her made Kellin smile. She was so modest and sweet, and that really appealed to him. "I do yeah. I used to live with Dallas, the singer in my band, but that got so shit. We were fighting about a lot of stuff so we just decided that it was best not to be roommates. How about you?"

"Oh. I hope it's nothing too serious for your sister?" he asks, looking sympathetic to what she has had to go through. "It's nice that you can all be there for her as family though, huh? I bet she really appreciates having you guys to help. My mom was happy to get rid of me," he jokes, trying to lift the spirits again. "Nah, I'm just kidding, I visit my mom all the time. She lives like ten blocks from me with my dad and my sister, which is pretty cool." He notices that Magie has finished her drink and drains the rest of his glass. "Hey can I get you another?" Kellin asks.

"Nice. I wish I had a studio. It costs us so damn much every time we want to record. So are you working on some new solo music then?"

"That's good. Glad to hear she got better. It's sweet that you all went there to help here, though." When he orders another drink, he orders his own and hands the waiter some money to pay for them both before he starts listening to her talking about her music, resting his chin on his hand as he listens intently. "How do you mean you don't know how? You mean like you don't know how to get yourself a label or something? Wasn't that girl Julia in your band? You could ask her for some help or something. I see she's getting quite big now. What went so wrong anyway? We released an EP once and signed away all the rights so we got no money. That was naive and stupid as hell," he laughs. "Glad to hear you're going to put out more though. It's always good when good artists find their inspiration." Kellin smiles at her, but then her next question makes him blush a little. "What do I look for? Well....mostly I look for someone I can have fun with and relax around. Someone funny and cool, you know? But I would definitely say I like them to look attractive as well. I think people who say they don't are lying. I like blonde women who are really pretty with brown eyes," he says with a wry smile. "How about you? What are you looking for in a guy?"
