It had been a while since Drew last seen Tisha but she was always on his mind. Last week, she had dropped yet another album and of course he listened to it and loved every second of it. Their connection was rocky, there was still a lot of distance and it was hard for him to tell when they were on good terms and bad terms but in the back of his mind, he knew he still had it for Tisha. It made him want to keep trying until he knew for sure if she still had it for him or not. He had invited her out to eat at one of his favorite high-end brunch spots in New York City a few days ago. He was hoping she'd show up but only time would tell. Tisha had stood him up before and he didn't take it to heart. He loves chasing her. Drew's been chasing Tisha since 2014.

Drew chuckled to himself as he read the text message on his phone.

"Who hasn't head the #1 record in the country?? You popping ma."

"Nun much, I just want to get you out of the house. Haven't seen your face in years and I can't take it any more. Wassup with you, you coming?"

"If you could, it would mean the world to me, Ti. Reservations at 3 sound good?" He asked through text. Right now it was around 11am and he wanted to make sure he gave her enough time to clear up her schedule and get ready.

Drew chuckled to himself at her reply and put his phone down as he found something to wear. He even went as far as to pull out one of his older colognes that he knew Tisha liked to smell on him.

By the time Tisha arrives, Drew is already sitting at their reserved table in a Burberry button-down shirt that was white on the outside and had their signature plaid design on the inside. He completed the outfit with a simple pair of slacks and nice dress shoes. He waited patiently for her arrival and stood up as soon as he saw her looking around for him. He lifted his hand to get her attention and grinned when they made eye contact, walking over to her.

He hugged Tisha back tightly, but not too tight. He didn't want to disrespect her or be too forward after getting the chance of a lifetime to see her again on good terms. "Hello, gorgeous. I appreciate you popping out and allowing me to take up a little of your time to catch up." Drew pulled Tisha's chair out, non verbally asking her to take a seat.

Drew smiles at her comment as he makes his way over to his own seat. "I've been working on it." He takes a good look at the woman in front of him, thinking to himself that Tisha looked better and better as she got older. "It's good to see you too, I'm doing better than ever these days, how about you?"

"I'm glad you're back in the city. I know you didn't leave on the best terms but I hope the city brings up only the best of memories for you. The Bronx is your home... our home, really. You know we got that Bronx bond. I left the city for a few months too for London but I came right back. Just didn't feel right. It's no place like home, ya know?"

Just then, a fancy waiter walks up to the table and introduces themselves. He asks what they'll be having to drink and if they've taken a look at the menu.
