mariko smiles happily. she did love the relationship she had with vara. if they ever had a permanent falling out,mariko would be lost. " i think she is a lesbian, full on. like what you pegged me to be. she does not advertise it with just anyone though. poor christopher is trying to convert her,i think. or it will be one of those beard things." mariko says,scrunching her face up. mariko tries to make eye contact anywhere but varas legs as they ease into the pool. "of course,you are vara chan. you are lovable. you even made up with daniel?! me too. i thought i wanted revenge,but he is pretty sweet."

"actually,you helped me come to terms with that. full on. like a klondike bar. big and think,no room for stick" mariko cracks up at her own usage of an american tv commercial. " sweet,but pretty sure he is gay. no man should be that handsome" mariko muses again. mariko could handle naked everyone else in the pool with her,but naked vara? "the water is great,huh?" mariko dunks her head back to wet the rest of her hair.

"you would know.i am not into that at all." mariko gives a little shrug. though if she was? she would totally be on daniel. mariko watches vara,she cant help it. mainly because she is still wearing clothes. " i love it.i hate having anything on me when i swim or sleep." mariko says.grabbing varas foot to pull her back from drifting away. " fuck it. we are adults,right?" mariko says,whipping her shirt off and tossing the rest of her clothes on the pool edge.. then she also floats beside vara. " we should do this more often." she giggles. mariko loved being naked,it made her feel close to people.

Nova couldn't sleep. It was the third night in a row. She sat up and decided to go and walk around. She wanted to go outside but saw Vara and Mariko out there. She wouldve went to the rec room but she didnt want to play pool. There was nowhere for her to go so she just went to the living room and sat on the couch.

Vara smiles at Mariko. She really really liked Daniel, but Mariko would probably be somebody that she always felt something towards - less than love, but more than just attraction. It was hard for her to keep her hands to herself when she was around Mariko. "Hey, I've based my whole life around the principle that there's nothing wrong with being naked with other people," Vara says back with a laugh and a shrug. She was proud of Mariko for working on her past issues and memories. She knew letting somebody sing that song live was a big step. "I'm proud of you, Mari," she says back with a genuine smile.

Mariko giggles,looking at vara. Vara had the sort of features mariko would love to have. " I do not think anyone complains about your being naked!" Mariko blushes a little.mainly because that is not something she would say to just anyone,but vara would understand what she meant. Mariko listens to vara and smiles warmly,reaching out to squeeze her hand. " thank you,vara Chan. To be all artsy, it did feel better to write about ti...would you ever?" Mariko asks,looking over to vara. Their shared history was unique,and she knew vara held a lot in about Trent.

" would you ever write about you and Trent? " she asks,Standing in the pool. She couldn't help but keep holding on to vara's hand. The familiarity and human contact was just what mariko wanted. Mariko knew what she wanted to do,but knew it was wrong. But perhaps mariko wasn't the good girl she pretended to be... eventually,as if she is watching it on a movie,mariko kisses vara on the lips.

Mariko places her hands on vara's cheeks,graduating from a peck,to full on kissing her.when mariko feels the hands on her waist,she backs up into the corner of the pool,making sure to bring vara with her. " oh my..I am so sorry." She says,when she realizes the position She has put vara in.

Mariko pauses,still breathing very heavy,and still with her hands on vara's hips. She probably wanted what vara wanted . But there may be room to save things. Nina was going to kill her,there was no doubt about that,but may not leave her. Still,mariko had to know. " vara...would it mean anything to you? Or would it just be...you know." Mariko shrugs,a small smile in her fAce as if to let vara know there was no pressure.

Mariko listens to vara,falling more and more for her voice . Mariko felt the same about vara,she was The embodiment of beauty. Mariko slightly tugs vara towards her,so that their bellies touch. She loved vara's honesty. She easily could have told mariko what she wanted to hear. Mariko was honest in return.she takes a breath and looks to the house. " we never have given it a chance,and I am not sure if I could be ok with you...getting what you could not get from me elsewhere,like it was Trent. " mariko looks back to vara and smiles warmly. "Though it does feel nice to know I am not just another conquest." Mariko says,squeezing vara's hips. " would you settle for sharing a bed tonight? I am honestly so drunk....being shaken up may not be good for would either of us"
