How is it? In two words, Mr Hess, fucking amazing. I was slightly concerned about the potential for last gen graphics spoiling the fun heading in, but they're better than I expected, and everything else is just so immersive and huge. I've probably sunk about 9 hours into it so far and I've only done about 3 missions. Spent most of my time so far building a village and exploring what is such a vast vast world. So yeah, I'm finding it to be quite marvellous so far. |

Snazzy. I hate change so the character speaking had me worried it was going to be kind of linear |

Nah it's not very linear really. You have the story missions, which have a bit of interaction and that, but then you don't even need to do them once they start and you can have multiple missions on the go at once if you so wish. They don't seem to need to be completed in a set order either. |

going through an umpteenth play through of fallout (the original). man,i they would remake this in the style of the new ones.....the vault where the master resides would be horrifying. the walls and computers are partially human flesh. |

The way it works generally is that there's potentially an infinite amount of side missions I believe of a certain type, which is building a network of other villages through helping them via an organization that you're put in charge of (The Minutemen). Ironically because that is set up to be the first thing you do, helping other villages, a lot of people have done that instead of continuing the story missions so they enter the other story portion of the game vastly overleveled because they have been farming side mission enemies for days. |
