Can you actually picture me? Hmmm...

I think it has to do with me getting older. Pop is just becoming so repetitive and computerized, record labels are now signing crack whores who can't sing or write.

Now you can understand why some of us don't like pop.But I can suggest some cool Alternative bands you might like :).

I actually know many alternative rock bands, and I'm also starting to get into indie rock which is freaking me out a bit. But suggest away :)

Check out this english band called Micachu and The Shapes. They're really good mix of indie rock and weird more original pop. They suck live but their album jewelry is great.

Really cool bands, for some reason they remind me of this band whom I forgot the name of. And usually indie rock bands suck live, but I still enjoy them for some odd reason.

I disagree with the live sucking of indie bands, in fact most indie bands are better live than in studio.
RP bands:
Insolent Paradox - Progressive [Forum Thread] - Post-production
Oceans - Fusion Jazz - Writing

Totally agreed.

Speaking of which, do you guys think I should buy Closer (Joy Division) or Strangeways, Here we Come (The Smiths) on vinyl?
I'm dying to choose between one of the two.

Hahaha, I'm buying them on mercadolivre (a brazilian version of e-bay), so stealing isn't really possible :P

Closer. The best Smiths songs are the singles, which don't appear on the records sadly.

Actually, I'd say that I probably prefer Unknown Pleasures to Closer. I dunno.

My favorite Joy Division album is Substance, but it's too expensive, so I'm on a tie between these two.
Closer is a bit more expensive than Strangeways, but it's a really small difference.
MEH, I guess I'll get Strangeways.
