In my opinion, dropping out of school to join an online school ain't the best hand you can throw down. If anything, drop out, get your GED, head to community college and then you get a pick of a few good schools. I was thinking about doing that before my Junior Year but then decided that running away from my problems with grades would be a fucked up choice and the better plan would be to finally come to terms with my bad grades. Managed to pull my current GPA up to a 3.2, WGPA of around 3.8.

MusicMusicMusic:

Listening to a lot of Flaming Lips but only The Soft Bulletin again and again and again.

Also the GTA V trailer led me to the gem that is Small Faces.

You're getting enagaged with 16 years old?

If I decide to ask her, and she accepts, then yes. However, we won't get married for a few years, we will just "practice marriage", for the lack of a better term.

EDIT: I am turning seventeen this December 2nd Raphaela, if you've forgotten. Lol.

gee that makes it all sound better.....

don't be an idiot and drop out of school...
in the long run its only a few years at most and really will help in the future, even if you don't get the best grades... Grab all the education you can while you can... please

Y'all are tripping man. Online school can get me out of high school, then into Junior College. After Junior College I can head into College, and get my degree in whatever I've decided I want.

Cause I honestly think she is the one, I've felt this way before about a girl. But this time I am certain she is the one for me.

Raph is right. Sorry to sound old and boring, but - don't.

Bikki's sob story. I got engaged when I was 16, planned to marry when I finished college. We were so sure we were "the one" for each other. There was definitely something between us. Maybe we could have been right for each other now, if I'd left him as just my brother's friend and not got together, or been a more casual couple. We had to "practise divorce", and even if he was the one, there's too much water under the bridge now for us to start again. So I'm 26, single, unwanted.
From a song I wrote, at the age of 17 -
I've found the right man, but have I had enough wrong ones?
I need disasters, I need some bastards, because I've got an altar ego breaking out of me.

Think about it. You're 16. Just enjoy being a couple, don't go in too deep. Maybe you'll meet her again in later life and it'll be the right time. But at 16, it rarely is.

I get where you are coming from Bikki, but I've already talked to my friends about it. I decided to stay with her, but keep the relationship casual.

The only think I've had going for me for a long time was my music and my guitar, and suddenly I've come to realize that I could never do that very well either. I feel like for the last year I've watched my world crumble around and my life fall apart beneath me. I am now more comfortable mumbling to myself in a dark room than doing anything with other people in a lit environment.

And this has been me venting before going to bed.

Well, spent four hours trying to sleep, but instead just lay there with my brain somehow thinking I was having to check cases at work all fucking night. And then when that went away, just lay there thinking about manta rays of all things. Manta rays are cool and everything but I CAN'T FUCKING SLEEP.

If you "liked" Arkham Asylum, then you will "love" Arkham City. It's basically just a much improved version of the last game. Plus there is nothing more fun than actually flying around the city beating up random thugs down below.

It's my shoe in for game of the year, unless Skyrim is a even better than it looks. As it is, AC is hard to beat.

EDIT: Not that there's not much different between AA and AC, its HUGE improvements, but keeping the same basic principles.

Way too many games are coming out that I want. Skyrim, Batman, LA Noire on PC, Assassin's Creed, Zelda... And I have very little free time right now between moving and work. I ordered Zelda, the rest will wait till I have time over Christmas, but even that's only 3 extra days on top of my weekends - all 3 of which are mandatory and taken out of my holiday allowance... So, that's something to look forward to...

aint working a bitch!

i know, so so many games coming out over the next six months that i really really want, but am leaving for france in a week or two, so will have to wait for most of them until may / june next year, by which time my laptop will probably have died and i'll be looking at buying a new alienware one *drools*

on a side note i did really really like parts of AA, but once the plants started taking over it just started to annoy me.. Skryim though looks amazing, and then there is also Mass Effect 3 coming out soon!!

Fuck this shit, I'm so fucking angry right now.
This morning, a group of students were supposed to stay in front of uni and prevent anyone from getting in, because of all the fuzz going on on the University of São Paulo, students x cops. In short, we were also protesting against having cops wandering around our campus.
We stopped the main gate, but didn't have enough man power to stop the other 3. 2 others were closed as the morning passed by, but when we were getting close to stop that fucking uni, discussions happen between two people of opposite political ideologies and now they're only going to distribute papers on the main gate and try to talk to people.
I tried talking to people when I was stopping them from getting in, the girl simply pushed her bike on my arm and tried to get in at any cost, and the other gates were still opened at that time. She then yelled we were just a bunch of potheads and knew nothing about what we were fighting for.
There were 80 people by the end of the morning, it was enough to have 10 people on each of the three gates and the rest on the main gate. We could have succeded in the afternoon.
My friend and her boyfriend were pushed with strong violence and almost fell on the floor. Another person tried to rip up our poster. And now we have to try to talk with these people?
Goddammit, fuck this shit.
