OOC:Metallcia has been around for about 27 years,however until around 1989 they were independent.Plus the 90s is when they sold the majority of their records so technically they've only been mainstream for 10 years while Britney has her whole career. OOC: No sweetheart It doesn't matter, they began about 30 years ago (well, 27 to be exact) and Britney is not the best selling pop artist unless you wanna go there, Cuz the number will embarrass Metallica. The fact that it took them 30 years to sell that much (which is a lot) doesn't compare to the fact it took Britney Spears 10 years to sell 83 million) Discussion finished.
