 My latest drawing for those who don't follow me on Instagram. Not entirely finished with shading and refinement but I fear if I work on it too much I'll ruin it somehow so it's staying as is for now haha. |

There are probably more artistic and professional ways to shade and blend...but I mainly smudge with my finger. I look like I've been working in the mines after I finish a picture haha |

It looks like it works. I was taught it was done with a..tortelline? Basically a pencil shaped object that is tightly rolled paper. It keeps your hands clean and is precise.
Now sloppy cross hatch shading? Thats more my style. |
