And the best animal? Certainly not homo sapiens. I find whales to be fascinating, having been fish once upon a time, come onto land for at least three hundred million years, and then they end up back in the water.

Sponges are cool because they are so unlike anything else in the kingdom animalia, they look more like plants. Sea cucumbers are awesome for similar reasons. Plus that scene in the first Jackass movie where it looks like Steveo & Pontius are jerking one off and it shoots out a cloudy white liquid. Awesome.

For appearance, I quite like Emperor Penguins.
