CHIMERA ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIA/NEW ZELAND DATES & BIGGEST UK TOUR TO DATE!

The band have announced their December tours, hitting up Australia/New Zeland for the first ever headline tour over there!
the 5 dates released by Chimera for AUS/NZ are:

December 2nd - Auckland Transmission
December 4th - Sydney Roundhouse
December 5th - Melbourne Billboard The Venue
December 6th - Bisbane Arena
December 7th - Adelaide Fowlers Live

The band also released a statement that they will be heading to the UK again around December time! and just in time for Christmas too!
Cities that the band havn't headlined before, including venues the band have only 'dreamed' of playing..

Dan Severge(vocals): 'It's finally happening! Chimera are headlining Brixton Academy & Manchester apollo! thi is immence! I can't wait to go and destroy Yeovil for the first time as a ban aswell! it's been a while sin ce we last hit up Hull & Portsmouth too! can't wait for this, make sure you're at atleast one of these gigs!'

Decmeber 14th - Hull City Hall
December 15th - Portsmouth Guildhall
December 16th - London Brixton Academy
December 17th - Birmingham O2 Academy

December 22nd - Southampton Guildhall
December 23rd - Newport Centre

The band has also announced that they will be touring Europe & Japan in early 2011, before starting on the new album!

'well, we have nothing yet, but we are hoping to get a 5th album out in late 2011/2012! - theres rumors we've been recording new stuff, this isn't true! we're gonna use the time off from tours wisley, working on new material, and like we said, that will be the album to boost us to Arena level!'

Chimera are please to announce, that their 2010 world tour will be taking to Japan for 2 nights in Tokyo..

This is only untill 2011 when the band do a full Japan tour!

Support will come from Blood Of Wecz, The Verdict Is Vengeance (roating slot) & The Waiting Room

This Concept breaks 1 million sales!

It's been confirmed that Chimeras 4th album, This concept has broke 1 million sales today!

The album, released March 22nd was the career best

Dan (vocals) said:
It's an amazing feeling to be told we've hit 1 million, I mean this is probably one of the top moments in a bands career, like, its up there with our first sold out show, our sold out tours, our comebacks, first time supporting a big band whilst unsigned, stuff like that y'know? it's an amazing feeling to know there are 1 million people out there listening to you, the goal of making a band and music is to reach out to people, I was happy when it was 200 kids in barfly, and now its over 1,000,000 people, it's insane!

the abum was recorded in January 2010 & had a long awaited release, the tour starts next month for about a year, and it has now been confirmed that the band will come off the road in spring 2011, take a couple of months break, and get back to writing new stuff,

Oli (bass):
Yeah, we've got a load of dates to do before we even go into writing, at the moment it's just the fact we need the inspiration to make an album better than this, it took us a while to write ThisConcept, most band can write an album in 1 - 3 months, but as we took what we're calling 'our break' in may, we didnt announce the reunion untill september, truth is we were writing the new album in august, and didnt finish it untill December, so yeah we took 4 months to finish it and we went STRAIGHT to the studio before we started fucking around with songs and ruining them, as ususal they changed a little in the studio proccess.

The plan is to tour untill March next year, and then we're going to go some place quiet, and make it loud! to work on the 5th album.
we'll probably be in the studio in the summer, and then release it late next year, or maybe early 2012, see what happens!

Awesome album guys. Can't wait for the Japan dates. It'll be our last dates we do before Logan and I head back to record a new album with our old thrash mathcore band Fear and tour. It's going to be a kick ass time I can already tell.

altough we havn't been nominated.... :( Chimera are going to be playing a short set at the 20th IMA/Birdies!

CHIMERA have announced that their 2nd single from million-breaking 4th album, will be 'the Journey' and will be released on Monday, April 26th

This is the 2nd of 3 singles on the album, with the 3rd single that is still to be announced will be released this summer.

The single will include the bands FIRST EVER DEMO! either The Dammed or Blaming God. (2007 demo tracks for unreleased 1st album) and a Chimera Sampler! (best songs from all 4 released albums, 30 secs preview)

well, we're hitting Australia/NZ in December, and before we go back to the UK, we're co-headlining Stage 2 at the first every Aus-Fest, the act on after us will be the awsome Ryan Ross Hernandez!

CHIMERA TO TOUR JAPAN 2011!
It's May 2nd, and like we promised, we were going to announce the first 2011 dates!
we can now reveal that 'The Journey' will continue in Japan, January 2011
The support acts will be the amazing FEAR, and also friends of ours MIND.
The bands first Japan headline shows are 2 nights in Tokyo this September
The Journey tour ends March 2011
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 5th 09:00 AM

Chimera announce last leg of world tour, 2011 plans, new Aftermath 4 slot, and dates already sold out on December UK tour!

Whats up!
so the UK tour will start this week, we are soooo syked!
basically, we know we not long ago released This Concept, but we did announce the other week that we were working on album 5,
we're going to release in 2011/2012!

We're going to be finishing this tour in February 2011, in Canada!
we'll be on the road over there for 5 days!
February 1st - Toronto Four Seasons Centre
February 2nd - Montreal Academy Of Music
February 3rd - Ontario National Arts Centre
February 4th - Aitken Centre
February 5th - Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, British Columbia

so after this, we will be just kicking back in Wales untill March, finishing writing the album, perfecting it before going
into the studio around Late May - July 2011, hopefully brining a Autumn/Winter 2011 release, and starting to hit the road
in Winter 2011/2012, so we've pretty much got the next 2 or 3 years of our lives planned, it feels so strange!

a 3rd thing we want to announce is due to the pulling out of K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E, we have been bumped up to a slot that is
amazing for us, headlining the 2nd stage of Aftermath 4!

on the saturday, we'll be on the same time as girlspice (holy shit!) so whatever crowd are METAL! or leftover, we're gonna
see you there!

The final thing, is that UK December dates are selling out now! 4 dates have sold out now! and it's 8 months away,
check our tour dates page!

I must apologise! we've had a lot of problems with internet on tour but it's all sorted now!

the tour ended 4 days ago in Newcastle, this was the biggest tour we ever done and it was amazing! seriously I cant thank you all enough for coming out!

we're hitting our capital commotion tour Tuesday! and it's gonna be sick before we go and party like fuck in euorpe! you'd bettter give us one hell of a tour!

Album 5 is still at the stage where we've got 4 rough songs, it's going to beat This Concept by miles! can't wait to work on it more in the summer & in our tour downtime!
so that's it for now, just thought I'd get back online!
