Here's a question, more a dilemma actually. I'm planning on going to see Tim Minchin in December but the tickets are £40+ which I'm more than happy to pay for because it'll be worth it but nobody is willing to pay £40+ to see him, they aren't big Tim Minchin fans and they don't wanna pay that amount of money to see him, so my question is, is it weird going to a concert alone? |

Well, it's a concert. Why the fuck do you need to go with someone when if it's good you should be paying attention to what you paid for, not to what your friend has to say? |

It may be weird going alone at first, but its not too bad. Ive been to several shows by myself because its someone I wanted to see badly, but none of my friends wanted to or didnt have the money. Its kinda nice actually. You can do what you want without having to worry about your friends. I tend to mosh, crowdsurf, etc when I go to shows alone, because I dont have to worry about meeting up with friends afterward. |

Honestly, I have no idea. I've been going to concerts since I was a wee lad. Must be in the hundreds by now. But looking back, a ton of 'em were pretty shitty.

My first gig was Biffy Clyro/Sugarcult/ Sum 41 in the summer of 2001 or 2002, and I have been to waaaaaayyyy too many to even pretend to remember since then, probably literally well in to the hundreds. |

I've seen ABK Anthrax Anvil Boondox Coolio Dead by Wednesday ICP Kittie Kottonmouth Kings Marky Ramone's band (With Michale Graves of the Misfits singing) Megadeth Meliah Rage Misfits Necro Slayer Ted Nugent Testament Thy Will Be Done Twisted Sister And countless local bands. I either never have enough money for a national band, or it'll be too far away...but at least I've made good friends with a lot of the local bands. Edited by user 18 September 2010 10:30:33(UTC)

I got tickets to V Freefest so Yeasayer and Sleigh Bells for me. Plus more. |

Gonna be jumping onto the bandwagon by going to see Mumford & Sons. Don't really like them, but hell, I got two tickets free so I might as well take someone out.
Other than that, gonna check out Arcade Fire, Clairmont, Brandon Flowers, and am currently in the process of trying to get some tickets for a Rammstein show playing nearby my city that will only happen in like a year |

I'm going to see Tiffany Page at the 100 Club in October, it's gonna be weird seing the person I portray as Stacey Walton live, I'm sure it will be good though and she's very attractive. |
