Could never get into Gaslight Anthem, they felt a little generic to me. I'm more in awe of Regan who got see PORTUGAL, THE MAN live.

Their live DVD that I have is actually quite good. When did you see them? Either way I think I'm seeing Brand New or 30STM

I think the last show I was at was something like Anaal Nathrakh & Chronocide. I fell asleep during Nathrakh. Honestly, I've kinda lost the love of the live show the last few times I went. I'm coming round to the idea that I'd rather just listen to the record. Old fart. Oh, I seem to have already mentioned that im this thread. And it was approximately 12 months ago too.

Just died of jealousy.

Went to Warped tour yesterday. I didn't know most of the bands, but it was quite fun. Got up to the second row for Taking Back Sunday, but Falling in Reverse was the most fun because I finally found my friend I went with, they put on a great show, I knew most of the songs, and they were the last band.

Went to Merthyr Rock festival yesterday and saw Don Broco, Deaf Havana, We Are The Ocean, Kids In Glass Houses, Marmozets, Canterbury, Verses, Straight Lines, A and loads more. I recommend all these bands to go and see live. :)

A? Jesus christ, I never knew they were still dodging about. I concur about Marmozets though. I've seen them four times this year and they are brilliant. The energy from them all is incredible. Particularly the bassist, who is a bit mental. Saw him singing with Polar at Ghostfest too and he was great at that as well haha.

It was a comeback show from A I think. They said they hadn't played a show in years and they headlined the second stage. The Marmozets were crazy lol. The singer tripped up the bassist and the guitarist dived on him during the second song. Both instruments got broken and they spent like two songs without a bass and the guys guitar got smashed but still worked. Absolutely insane lol

Trying to get over resurgent social anxiety I am going to go to my first live show in about 15 months on Saturday, to see Torche at the ABC2 in Glasgow.

Man, it's been years since I went to a gig at the ABC2. Used to love that place. Also haven't seen Torche since they played the Oran Mor with Pelican. Assuming they still do it, the bomb-string ending with Tarpit Carnivore, Meanderthal, etc. is something to behold. Enjoy.
