After releasing her debut album last year, to our surprise, Cinzia Ricci has become a world renown sensation with her over the top club beats, or dramatic trance ballads that have shocked the world as Cinzia has become a fighting newbie, to world class starlet. Her debut album 'What You've Been Waiting For' became one of the top five selling albums of 2011 and she has plenty of smash singles to add to her resume, a very successful tour, a pepsi campaign and most recently being asked to be apart of a song with legends Vanity and Stephanie Fierce to further more prove her dominance.
You would think throughout all of this success, and we have seen this before, artists tend to lose themselves when being hit with a thing called fame, and specially at a rapid rate like Cinzia Ricci. But the Italian born singer has proved time and time again that although fame has hit her, she still remains as the humble human she was when she first came here fighting to become a star and has linked all the fame and happiness to her fans, who are responsible for the things Cinzia has achieved so far.
This brings us to this track, 'You Can't (Stop Me Now)'. The track is the leading single off of Cinzia Ricci's re-release of her debut album that is so far titled as 'What You've Been Waiting For: Ride Of A Lifetime'.
Quote:You Can't (Stop Me Now)......everyone who has ever doubted you, hurt you, bullied you and you went onto achieve something that you know would kill them inside to see you achieving, scream, "You Can't (Stop Me Now)" you guys will love this....so excited for this to hit the radio, and the clubs.... but most importantly, hit your hearts....
Ricci has linked this new single and the encouraging message in the track itself to her fans, supporters for their love and support in pushing Cinzia forward and and most importantly to any naysayers who only wished the worse for you but instead your living life in the fast lane, and there's no way of stopping you now, there's no way to stop her.
The track starts off with with a catchy quick beat that taps along for a few minutes, the beat already known as quite of the Ricci/Cloud's signature beat. After the beat taps onto the picking up buildup a large swoosh rises along the beat and bursts into an uplifting and loud melody that rises up and down through the backing beat as Cinzia's strong and captivating voice unleashes onto the track as she begins singing to all her nay sayers strongly
'If this was my last day to live tonight| I know you would, shout, laugh, clap in spite|The fact that I've fought all day all night|You Can't Stop Me Now, ow,ow,ow| 'If this was my last day to live tonight| My fans would scream til my soul reached the light| There's no way you can break me down that's right| You Can't Stop Me Now, ow, ow,ow following the last note, the notes before of 'ow,ow,ow' (you cant stop me now) are repeated with a strong echo and a second build up, this time sounding stronger as the track gets ready to slam into the chorus. As the chorus build Cinzia's strong vocals are heard as the track unleashes into a relentless, pulsating electrohouse beat that sounds like a high pitched note zippering down the uplifting but strong melody that was heard in the beginning of this uplifting track.
The beat could easily get you pumped and get your body moving, or the simple yet meaningful head bop to the track. The song quickly turns into something even stronger when it seems as if the chorus is coming to an end, but may come as a trick to the listener as the song is really going through a change with swooshing sounds and new beat leaps out of no where and breaks into an even more dance floor heavy beat that could get any of the raves, clubs or even the radio stations jumping as it continuously slams against the track relentless with DJ Cloud doing is familiar sayings, muttering
'JUMP! JUMP! THERE'S NO STOPPIN! among other things with Cinzia's
"You Can't Stop..." words added to the unyielding beat.
The beat then slows down really, really slow so the listner or dancer could somehow gets a break, the song even seems as if its ending but starts picking up once more with the tracks beginning sounds as it goes gets ready to break again as Cinzia belts out
YOU CANT STOP ME NOOOOW| plenty of times mixed with this type of anger, and emotion that is heard loudly as the song slowly starts building up with Cinzia's vocals belting out ferociously. The song then breaks into the same beat it broke into at the beginning chorus of the song but this time stronger with Cinzia singing over the pulsating beat, mixing in all the elements of the song, the swooshing, DJ Cloud's words along with the chorus beats as Cinzia yells out
|Ever had somebody, try to break down, oh yeaa?|They should know you that I am here| They Can't Stop Us Now, Scream, You Can't Stop Me now, ow,ow,ow as the relentless beat rides out the track all the way until the end when it slows down one more time with swift keyboard taps with Cinzia singing
'If this was my last day to live tonight| My fans would scream til my soul reached the light| There's no way you can break me down that's right| You Can't Stop Me Now, ow, ow,ow as the song slowly comes to a scorching end.
Riding on all these momentum, Cinzia Ricci along with DJ Night leaves us with a memorable, inspirational and club ready anthem as she gets ready to re-release the album with 4 or 5 brand new tracks, could this song be added to Cinzia's resume of hits? What do you think? The track goes on sale tomorrow!
