If Bikki hadn't collided with the empty Sambuca bottle, Joshy wouldn't have heard her collapse. What if I didn't? he pondered quickly. If a girl falls alone in a house, does she make a sound!?
He picked her up onto the sofa and started to rescuscitate her, putting his mouth to hers and breathing hard. Every breath and heartbeat said two words to him. Not. Mine. Not. Mine. When Bikki seemed to be breathing again, he noticed the phone. Quick distraction, he thought.
"Hello?"
"Joshy? Alright, boyo, it's Damien." Who? Oh, the blue-eyed one. "Benji must have forgotten to put the phone down."
"Why did Benji want to talk to Bikki?"
"No idea. Anyway, this is costing you fuckloads. Tara."
"Bye." Joshy scratched his head as he turned back to Bikki, who was regaining consciousness. It made no sense to him. Surely Bikki had no interest in that weird kid whose innocence Kamikaze Kate was raping!?
He barely had time to think it over before Bikki grabbed hold of him, sealing the deal in who she was really bothered about. For a second, at least - the phone rang again, and Joshy answered it, not letting go of Bikki. "Hello, Joshy Firecracker speaking, can we talk later? I'm in a bit of a situation ...."
"Where's Timo?"
Joshy could feel the colour draining from his face. He recognised that voice, but didn't want to admit to himself, let alone Bikki, who he knew, or at least thought it was. "N-n-none of your b-business," the young man stuttered, even though it was more the caller's business than his own. "YOU'RE NOT REAL!" he cried, although he had seen evidence otherwise. Jimmy had landed in Australia and realized there was a safe house there which most likely had someone in it. Bikki had given him the number before he died just in case either of them needed to get away from the media. He figured someone there may know where Timo was. Hell he may even be there, Jimmy thought to himself. When Joshy answered the phone Jimmy was surprised, when Joshy said he wasn't real he was shocked at how long he'd been gone. He called back several times to no answer. Looks like I'll have to just go there myself, Timo needs his father. He quickly rented a Jeep and sped towards the safe house as fast as he could without breaking laws.
What am I doing? Joshy might not answer, and I don't want to scare anyone when I get there. Timo needs me though, I have to do whatever I can to find him, and Joshy probably knows. Even if I do find Timo though, I doubt Joshy will let me raise him, he'll probably think I'm all doped up or something but have to try.
Jimmy arrived at the house and knocked on the door, the person who answered wasn't Joshy and Jimmy was just as surprised as she was "You're supposed to be dead"
