'Break Through' is a song by American recording artist Dominic Brown from his debut extended play, 'Unrequited Love,' featuring Sierrah Summers. It was written by Dominic Brown, Myra Knight, and Erin Ramsey and produced by Michael Bryant. Coming in at a snappy three minutes, 17 seconds, the track pours a lot of vocal prowess and emotional lyrics into a short amount of time with its slow and steady tempo. In the verses, Brown and Summers take turns with vocal duties, matching emotion before they join together. "I try hard but you won't let me in / I won't stop 'til I break through / Your heart's broken, but I'll make you see / I won't stop 'til I break through, break through," the duo sing in the chorus. The song finds the two taking the part of lovers, which is ironic due to the fact that both Brown and Summers were once romantically involved, with Brown singing that Summers won't let him in and that he won't stop or give up until he has her love completely. Summers, however, makes it clear that she can't open up her heart to him and wants to end their relationship before things become worse. "You wanna save me but it's already too late / Hard to break free of the memories / I wish I could just leave it all behind," she sings solely in verse two.

Songwriter Comments
What I like about this next track is that is has an incredible production and sound songwriting. I feel like with each song that I write that I get better and better. That's great cause I feel that is the case with this EP. You listen to the first song and then the next, and each one just hooks you in and you want more. So by the time the entire EP is over you're eager to press repeat and listen to it all over again. I'm planning to do my album like that as well but it'll also tell a story. This EP sorta tells a story about what we go through in relationships. How we feel when we first get together to how we feel when things start to go wrong. This particular track just happens to be one where you're trying to make the one you love realize that love isn't such a bad thing. I love this one especially mainly cause it's a duet. I don't do to many of those but when I do I always try to make it special for the fans. Break Through was actually not suppose to be on the EP at all but I changed my mind, thinking that it would be a good fit. I never actually planned to work with Sierrah, it was something that fell into place on its own. I had already finished recording the song and it was originally just my voice alone but I felt like maybe I could turn it into a duet. Long story short, she heard the song and liked it so she recorded her vocals on it. I heard it and here it is, on the EP. It wasn't weird at all working with my ex-girlfriend on the track. Some people might find it weird but I don't have any ill feelings towards her and neither does she for me. After all this time, we're able to be good friends and have a professional relationship when we need to. I had fun working with her. She has a great voice and she gives that female perspective on the song that I think the ladies will love and the fellas will be able to connect with the subject.

Continuing to keep his R&B roots while shedding the innocent act we first came to know him by, Brown, now 21 years old, transforms into adulthood as he teases us with this sexy R&B inspired track. The song begins with Brown's smooth vocalization as he sings on racing home to be with his girl after a night out at the club. He tells her to get ready for him as he wants to make lover to her and tonight will be all about her. "Once I lay you down you're the main attraction / I'll make it a night to remember, baby from the bed to the floor." He continues on in the second verse, showing us just how naughty he can be with the song's lyrics strongly detailing the things he wants to do to her. Songwriter Comments
This track was both fun to write as well as record in the studio. I remember being in the studio with the lights down low, as when I'm writing these types of songs I like it to be that way, and just putting my all into the song. I really love the R&B feel and soulful vocals that it has to it. I recorded this song last year and it just sat there with a lot of my other unused songs. When we sat down to choose which songs would go on the EP and which ones would go on my sophomore album, I felt that this one would be good for the EP. It's purpose is to give my fans a little taste of what's to come for the album. If you like this, then just wait till you hear my album cause the songs on there go hard. There are a lot of R&B bangers on the album along with a couple of slow songs. My new album is going to be one for the ages so I hope that people are ready. I know I can't wait to release it next year.

'Now Or Never' is a song by American recording artist, Dominic Brown, from his upcoming sophomore album, 'Dom·i·no Ef·fect.' It was written by Dominic Brown, Chris Adams, and Edith Simon and produced by mISTER_b. Keeping with his new found love of EDM style type music, Brown brings us his latest banger. With its Electro house influenced sound, this track is guaranteed to be the perfect jam to ride to this summer. The track begins with a memorizing beat, one can only expect from legendary producer, mISTER_b, following Brown's signature vocals. The track then goes into the first verse, where Brown sings of telling the girl he admires how he feels but she responds with needing more time to think about it. "I open my heart to you, lay it on the line / You tell me you need more time girl, I give you some space / I wait a while to hear from you, until you let me know." Towards the end of the verse, Brown can't be without her and gives her an ultimatum to either be with him or not. "You're the one I want and it's getting hard to be just friends with you / It's now or never for you to choose and say just what you wanna do." The track continues into the catchy chorus with Brown singing, "I can't be without you a second longer / Now or never, no more waiting for you." In the second verse, Brown sings to his love of how he plans to treat her and what she'll be gaining if she chooses him. Songwriter Comments
I've been working on my sophomore album for a while now, and I've been carefully trying to make sure that it's different from my debut album. At the same time, I want it to have the R&B roots that I started off with and my fans have come to love me for, but to also incorporate my crossover into the new sound that I'm about now. I'm still the guy singing about love and relationships but with a new sound. It's a growing up process, and I want the album to reflect that as well. I can say for the most part, there's been a lot of changes throughout the recording process of this album. My standards and expectations for this album is high, and I want everything to be perfect. I want this to be an album that you can't get enough of and each song is your favorite from beginning to end. So the songs that are making the cut onto the album fit those criteria. With that said, it makes it harder to chose which song from the album will be my next single. I'm feeling all of the songs that I've done for the album so far, but I'm always looking for that song that's going to be a hit with the fans. I never want to let them down so what ever single I follow up with has to be better than the last. It's a lot to live up to but I love the challenge. I feel like the fans will love this new track that I've chosen as the next single cause it's perfect for the summer. Everyone's looking for the next summer favorite to make this summer the best, and I feel like this is it. Last year, I was lucky enough to have the song of the summer with my single, 'Work It Out' featuring The Wolverines. This year, I want to earn that title again. As always, I had to make sure that everything was on point to put this track on the level I wanted it to be. I of course wrote the lyrics along with a couple of others, but stepped aside on the production this time. Since working with mISTER_b on several other projects, I knew that we needed to team up again to make another hit. So we met up in the studio and started working on the song together. It's always a pressure to work with him, cause he always knows what I'm looking for when it comes to a certain sound that I want. He provides the hard work every time, and isn't afraid to go the extra mile. I can be fun to work with but sometimes I probably overdo it. I never stop till the track is perfect even if it takes all night. That can drive some people crazy but he's one of many that understands the dedication. I'm happy he produced this one, and my fans can expect many more collaborations between us.
