F.Y.T. is the term that Dominic defines. It means “Fly, Young, and Talented” because each of the best artists featured on the album (including him), Hayden, Cassie, Mandy, Luke, and Isabel are the definition of this term. The album is called “F.Y.T. because they are the future of music and the best the industry have to offer. With this album, Dominic reveals his most intimate feelings while having fun with each song. It's guaranteed to blow your mind in ways you never thought was possible.
Arrived (Feat. Hayden) (4:30)
Soothing beat with live acoustic and electric guitar, strings and modern hip hop drums. A song about a guy who is trying to save a girl that is tired of getting her heart broken over and over again. He tries to win her heart by letting her know that he's not like the other guys she's dated and shows her what a real man is like.
Thank You (4:10)
Catchy, emotional piano melody, live acoustic guitar chords and lead passages, synth for hook. Busy percussion comes in after intro. Another personal song on the album where Dominic reveals how he feels deep in his heart. This song is for his older sister who raised him while their mother struggled with a drug addiction.
Addiction (4:20)
R&B/Pop beat with beautiful piano melody, accompanied with strings and synths. Bridge section and breakdown lead into final verse. You can hear the sadness and hurt in Dominic’s voice as he sings. This song is about Dominic’s mother who struggles with a drug addiction. He describes the pain he feels of how her addiction has ruined their relationship.
Dance With You (Feat. Isabel) (3:40)
An up-tempo dance joint that will get you moving with very catchy synth and string melodies. This is a song about a guy going to the club to find a pretty girl to dance and have fun with.
F.Y.T. (2:50)
Dance/Club track with a timbo feel. A fun carefree song about being confident and knowing that your the best thing around.
Best friend’s Girl (4:05)
Club/pop beat with an addicting hook synth melody. The verse after the bridge is perfect for a rap verse. A song about a guy and girl who like each other but she belongs to his best friend. She wants to leave her boyfriend and be with him but he doesn't want to betray his friend.
Can’t Love You (Feat. Luke Striker) (3:10)
R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop beat with a moving synth, piano, and great vibe. Having love for someone and being in love is two different things. This is a song about a guy who struggles to love his girl of five years when she's ready to take things to the next level.
I Needed You (2:10)
Emotional R&B beat with a beautiful melody. Contains a bridge after the second chorus. This song can be considered part two to “Addiction”. Dominic lets out more of what he felt and the things he went through while his mom was addicted to drugs.
Beautiful Girl (3:25)
Catchy radio-friendly track, with addictive drums, synths and piano melodies. Ever met a beautiful girl that makes you want to do anything for her. This song describes just that. It's about a guy who did anything for his girl even if it evolved something bad. He soon learns that beauty isn't everything.
My Mistake (Feat. Cassie) (3:42)
An up-tempo club track with radio appeal. About a guy who regrets that he cheated on the love of his life while he was drunk at a party.
Bittersweet (2:02)
Synth-driven R&B beat. Has a modern, "digital" feel. This song is about a guy who decides to convince his girlfriend that she should move away in order to pursue an amazing one in a lifetime opportunity. He's left feeling bittersweet because he's happy she's following her dreams but sad that she's leaving.
Love Triangle (4:55)
Deep track with dramatic piano/string arrangements that gradually builds up throughout, very catchy hook. Liking two girls isn't easy but being in love with them both is even harder. A song about a guy who can't decide which girl he wants to be with.
One Night (4:32)
Catchy drum pattern with an addictive ethnic instrument melody. Change ups throughout. About a guy who wishes he could have just one night to prove to this girl that opposites attract.
Break Up (4:12)
Hip-Hop beat that features hard-hitting drums, and inspirational horns with a gradual build up. A song that anyone can relate to if they ever felt like they needed to end the relationship because the person they fell in love with from the beginning is no longer that same person they want to be with.
Black Heart (Feat. Mandy) (3:05)
Mid-tempo Hip-Hop or Rnb joint. Addictive string melody accompanied by catchy synth melodies.
