Rolling Stone calls 'Liberation' the track Chloe has been looking for. Yesterday pop starlet Chloe made a highly anticipated appearance on Day Break and certainly covered many topics her fans have been waiting to hear. Information on her new album, current and future plans, and of course she surprised us with the premiere of her new single that is set to impact radio stations and digital outlets this Sunday. The Synth-Pop/Electro pop tune called Liberation which was co written by Desiree Shapiro and produced by The Wolverines and features memorable violins and even drum line like backing beats was reviewed today by Rolling Stone to a great review, they even went on to say it was the song Chloe was "looking for."
First, check out the track
I love the way; That I’m feeling you, It feels so great, That it’s all I want to do, tonight.
I like the way; Everyone’s starin’ at me, They can do it all day, And I’ll embrace it all, tonight.
[Chorus] So stand up tall, climb on top of a wall And feel the libera-a-a-ation. Let your hair down, stick your chest out proud It’s a great sensa-a-a-ation
[Chorus 2] Yeah alright! Get on down Gonna liberate myself Gonna sing, Gonna shout Feel the liberation, feel it all tonight
I adore the way; All the guys are hittin’ on me, Don’t know what to say, But I’m just gonna enjoy it all, tonight
Tonight, I’m gonna f-f-feel liberated, liberated, liberated Tomorrow, -morrow I’m still gonna celebrate it, celebrate it.
Lib-Lib-Erate L-l-l-Liberate Gonna feel it Gonna feel it Gonna feel it
[Chorus] So stand up tall, climb on top of a wall And feel the libera-a-a-ation. Let your hair down, stick your chest out proud It’s a great sensa-a-a-ation
[Chorus 2] Yeah alright! Get on down Gonna liberate myself Gonna sing, Gonna shout Feel the liberation, feel it all tonight
Sounds like
Rolling Stone Review
Quote:It's evident that starlet Chloe has been having trouble getting off of her feet going into her sophomore release. Although her first release 'Grand Theft Auto' was a some what of a hit reaching gold status on the digital charts and cracking the Top 10 on radio, but to be honest we are sure Chloe's reps weren't looking for a mediocre hit like that one, same with promo single 'Losing My Religion' which hit #6 on the pop charts. Don't get us wrong, they were both great tracks, just not exactly the songs her fans want, not saying she cannot maneuver them , they were both very risky for her so early in her career. This time however, Chloe takes us to new heights and soars with her new track 'Liberation' which was produced by longtime collaborators the Wolverine's who are responsible for making most of her first batch of hits on her debut album 'Different Elements Of Chloe'. She pairs back up with the production duo on this track and it shows us how much we love Chloe and The Wolverine's together in studio, they know her perfectly. The track gives us a blend of infectious synths, a buzzing bass beat and a juddering build up to the chorus mixing in violins and tenor drums until we get to the chorus full of synths and keyboards. It's nice to see Chloe sounding so "liberated" on the track and singing to her best potential reminding us that she is one of the great young singers of this time and she shall not be forgotten. This is certainly a standout track of this young singers career and puts on on full pace for her sophomore album set to release before the new year, and is quite the single she was looking for. 4/5 Stars Edited by user 03 November 2011 09:54:07(UTC)
