Track Description: Its a mysterious song which on paper looks like your usual 'emo' love song.. but this ones different, it has hidden meaning. The song is written by lead vocalist Ryan Williams and takes the form of a diary entry he's wrote about his past drug addiction. During Williams' high-school years he was a frequent user of heroin to relieve stress and this then moved on to an addiction. "Those we're really dark times for me, i never want to go back to that place" said Ryan Williams. It is a slow mellow track opening with a minor guitar riff from guitarist Riley Donahue which when kicks into gear when Josh Heyler on the drums starts playing. Williams' vocals throughout are mellow and so compassionate, it is very clear to see that this song means a lot to him as you can feel the emotion on every syllable he sings. "We didn't know what we would release as our first single, as its a really big deal but we though hey, lets just release something that has our stamp thats when we came to the decision of Darkest Nights" explains bassist Shay McCarthy. The band stuck to their pop-punk sound however, with a little less punk and more rock and if this song is something to go-by, their debut EP is going to be something special and will break huge ground if enough people catch on. "We cancelled our previous single and delayed releases so much we owe something special to the fans! We are playing 2 festivals in the coaming months which are very exciting and nerve-wrecking we just hope to do our best and hopefully impress!".

Band Comments: This was a really dark time, and i thank all of you who out there who helped me through this difficult period which i hope never to return too!
