I am definitely doing that, so I don't need help with that anymore. But when...I don't know.
A few friends say I should wait until after the concert so that in case she says something to her parents they cant say "Then you aren't going to any concert with him." Which was very encouraging for me to hear btw...lol
Plus if I did it before there's the chance she wouldn't want to go to the concert with me anymore.
But, sooner is better on my stress levels and could lead to the concert being considered a first-date sort of thing....Ughh, why didn't anyone tell me this shit was so complicated...

Well, quick answer is no.
I've hit that point where my mind goes fuzzy and I get scared. lol
I feel I could do it in an instant if our current friendship wasn't so... "we're friends but only cause your Shelbys brother" ya know? Plus as sarcastic as our friendship has been its hard to even get to a point where asking a serious question like that would even be appropriate.
I know the concerts coming soon, and a few friends think I should wait and see how that goes. Besides, I dont want to make it to where she doesnt want to go because I creeped her out or something.
Heres the question I need answered, how do I go from nothing but sarcastic jokes or silence to looking in her eyes and asking her? Can it be something to be done at random or does it need to build up first? |

No I didn't do it last night like I wanted too. She's still here though...
Yesterday was weird. Shelby fell asleep for 3 hours, me and Hana hung out like we always do when Shelby falls asleep. Then Shelby woke up, but me and Hana still ended up downstairs alone watching youtube videos while Shelby went upstairs.
Interesting conversations were had thats for sure.
We talked for a while on what king of guys she likes...again...and she repeated that she was worried she was being picky more than a couple of times.
She then asked me what kind of girls I like and said...
"So what kind of girls you like....obviously ones not like me and Shelby but what kind? Either you take part in the conversation or you go away. lol"
Me and Shelby exchanged and odd look and I replied that I wasn't really allowed to take part in that conversation as a joke and we moved on. Weird night all together really. |

Lol, it just feels like she's let me become more of a trusted friend last night...I hope its because she wants what is bound to happen.
Another thing, we were talking about our pasts with Shelby and Hana said something about guys being mean to her when she was in elementary and said.
"Cody! You're a guy, whats it mean when a guys mean to a girl in 3rd grade?"
"Well...that means he likes you."

Well she's gone and wont be back for nearly a month cause she's going to Florida...only now do I realize that last night was practically built for me to ask her...thats why it simply cannot wait anymore. It has to happen.
On the plus side she left her ear-rings on my desk (weird?) so I have something to remind me I need to do it until the next time I see her. |
