I haven't plugged for an award show in aaages, so let's give it a shot and see if I win stuff.
Best BandMoronic Changeling. Not just the longest-running band in the industry (I'm sure that someone, not entirely sure who, is out there with a machete waiting to claim that title), but the pioneers of a genre all their own. These ladies (and temporary gentlemen, though they seem to be on to a winner with Comyns & Helyer) made the music which a fair amount of musicians today grew up with. "There's a little bit of Moronic Changeling in everyone," says lead singer Kaethe Jenkins. "Sexy mashed potato salespeople love us, ja?" We're not entirely sure what she's on about, but we're sure she has a point. Inbetween preparing for the Madcore Tour, they're hard at work on their 14th album. And nobody has any idea what to expect. MADCORE.
Firecracker 47. These four started out as the quintessential "don't give a fuck" band, but without the hostility - however, people did give a fuck. (Especially to Joshy.) On the surface, they seem like just another joke band or bunch of pop punk kids, but if you dig deeper, listen in on the jazz and more classic emo influences, there's much more to them than that. They're the perfect mix - Joshy knows how to put on a show, James is the most musically talented, Mikki is all about the promotion and Roxy is the replaceable one whom people seem to like anyway.
Madbirds. A dream team has emerged from the ether - the amazingly talented metal queen and ninja pirate Nick, bitch-brained rock star Rayne Berry, token Benderphiliac (every band needs one) Stacy Blitz and, of course, you love them, you hate them, team Bitch Elite Kamikaze Kate and Cassie Bitch, who may cause consequences if you don't vote for them.
Best Solo ArtistKato. One of those talented artists who might just go by the wayside if manager Kamikaze Kate gets bored of him. He's failed at everything so far (I don't get what the charts have against him, I mean come on!) so it'd be really nice and he'd be really happy if he won. Be nice to him, he doesn't know what he's doing.
Best Solo ArtsitKamikaze Kate. The Kamikaze sticks out in a crowd, and not just because she's really tall with inch-thick make-up. She's not afraid to be herself, black metal's little princess - and at the age of 17, before she's even legal to do some stuff, she's accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. And she's not going to disappear any time soon, she has three failed albums under her belt and is soon to unleash a fourth on the world. Not to mention that Kate on stage is one of those things you just have to see, she has no taboos.
Raven Storme. From Kate's minion to Moronics girl to soloist, Raven has proven herself to be an industry standout. Her strong voice, epic guitar ability despite missing fingers, and amazing songwriting ability have brought Raven up, in the course of three albums, from the tattooed girl next door to a real big player in the music industry, one of the more legendary female soloists.
Mikki. Fresh out of the Firecracker 47 melting pot, Mikki may not be the best drummer in the world, but she's found something to do besides look pretty. So far, her music has been two collaborative singles with Bikki, the pair producing a mixture of pop and madness, who knows where this girl's going to go next?
Kestrel Wolfe. OK, so she's done fuck all except fuck all, but what are newcomers supposed to do? Give her a chance.
Bikki. Just trust me on this one, OK? There is nobody quite like this girl geek in the music world - honest, daring, and just the right amount of weird. She's taking over the charts at the moment, her songs "Mawf" and "All By Myself" getting a lot of digital downloads, and her latest collaboration with new partner in crime Mikki, "The Boy Is Mine", set to do the same. So she must be doing something right, yes?
Best NewcomerSee "Madbirds" and "Kestrel Wolfe" above.
Best ArtworkBest SingleBikki - "Mawf" / "All By Myself". A wonderful pack of three of an original Bikki song about becoming a werecat, a comedy cover song about zombies, and for those of you who bought the physical single, a daring song about artist of the moment Katie Coyle. More info and full lyrics here -
http://www.therockstarga....aspx?g=posts&t=7291Kamikaze Kate - "disordergirl". Kate finally, in a metal masterpiece (mistresspiece?), speaks out about having Tourette's syndrome and oppositional defiant disorder, something she has hidden for years, so as not to be labelled "disordergirl" and get sympathy for it. In the B-side, she sings softly about the late, great "bitch elite" member Mayhem. More here -

Personality AwardJoshy Firecracker. How can you not love Firecracker 47's one-eyed trouser snake? His obsessions with plastic surgery, sleeping around and shoes stick out, but not so much as his addiction to love. He may not always seem so, his methods seem unorthodox, but he'll always put other people before himself, and always walks around with a daft smile on his face. Aww, bless.
Dante Helyer & Damien Comyns. Despite looking nothing like them, they're the Smosh of TRSG. The newest Moronics are always the type to double up to make one double up with laughter.
Kamikaze Kate. My fingers are in pain. Work this one out yourselves.
IconMoronic Changeling. Is it dickheaded to nominate yourself for an Icon? Yes, possibly, but they came second last time. That's my defence.
Technical EcstasyNick Biggs (Moronic Changeling & Madbirds). The most awesome drummer around, this pirate bitch plays with five kits stuck together, and leaps around with madness, sticks in her fingers and toes and a head ready to smash in until it bleeds, as she goes through drum lines which nobody else could even attempt to imitate.
Plus, she's not Jason Smith.Best RP storylineKamicassie (the whole thing, from the last awards until now) and the reformation of Madbirds. Current thread -
