The track was recorded with past lead guitarist Nathan Barker (now of Misery Loves Company) and produced by Misery Loves Company frontman and female vocalist of CTS Lily's sister Ryan Williams. The band have filmed a music video for it themselves using their own cameras. Early details released have suggested it will contain live footage of the band as well as scenes of people being threatened with a gun before finding out it is fake. It is expected to premier during the week sometime. Lyrics and Music review: The song in a nutshell is about a failing relationship, one which has seen more fights than a boxing ring with vocalists Alex and Lily singing how they want to change and make their relationships stronger. Lyrically, its what you expect from a young electronic band, naive and weak. However, it all seems to fit in the way they want it, i don't think the song would have the same effect if it had much 'smarter' or stronger lyrics. Teenage heartbreak is the new fashion. It is strongly synth based which is provided by the multi-talented Lily Williams but with a strong drum fill which gives the song the ability to create a mosh-pit anywhere its played! The strongest part of this band though is the screaming. Tattooed sensation Alex Ward gives his everything with his screams, but the most impressive part is his clean vocals along with it. Not many people are good at both screaming and clean vocals but Alex has a knack for controlling both and making it work. The band had a positive start to their career which was evident in their supporting slot on The Verdict Is Vengeance's upcoming tour. "we realize we disappeared off the face of Earth, but we are back now to rectify that fact" This has been a rough past couple of months for Chasing The Sun. For numerous reasons, the band declared an un-official hiatus during the Summer. We all went our separate ways, Alex went off to LA to hang and record a solo EP, Lily also went to LA to spend time at home with friends, Nate as you all know left to become the guitarist of Misery Loves Company, Jamie remained here and graduated from high-school and Kris left for New York to start college life as a freshman. To weeks ago, we all hooked up to talk about the bands future. It was a long talk which came to the outcome that we would reform as a band and continue our dream in the shape of music. However, there was some bad news that would follow this decision; Kris, who is at college decided it would be best for him to leave and pursue a career in a different industry. We 100% respect Kris' decision and wish him the best with life. So, Me (Lily), Alex and Jamie started the hunt for a new guitarist and drummer early last week. It was a grueling process but one which we are now, really proud of the end result. Please welcome to the band Asher Holden and Landon Roberts to the band. Both were part of indie rock band Practice Makes Perfect before joining us and will take the roles of guitarist and percussion respectively. They come from a long way to be with us, Arizona. Asher Holden (left) and Landon Roberts (right). Now that we are a band again, we have been jamming and writing music flat-out! We have met up the past 7 days to kick-start ourselves into gear. We know it is not going to be easy to win back the fans and get back into the spotlight, but we are prepared to work our asses off this time round! We will be releasing our debut single next saturday titled 'Me Vs Society'. Everyday up until that, we will have a special feature for you all! We have acoustic performances, interviews, blogs plus much more to keep you enticed. We will also be hitting the studio soon, to finish recording our debut EP. Some of the vibes coming from it may surprise you, it contains stuff we haven't tried before plus some of our trademark material. Well, thats it for now!
