I hate you .... then there were all your kisses and the worst part, you getting drunk all the time. And here we are. So how is that me fucking up?

Kate : You can't mean that, if you get nightmares .... I must matter to you .... Cassie, I apologise so much for what I did, I just didn't know what to say .... what do I hate about you? Nothing - and everything.

Joshy : The whole pretending we were engaged was a rebound. You'd curled up to me the last few nights, and I thought I'd found another girl I loved like Raven, though I know I never will - so you asked me, and I suggested you do that. Roxy : Yup.

Kate is taken aback, surprised to see Cassie starting to tic, almost mirroring her. The kiss is even more surprising. It's a Cassie kiss - but it's more how Cassie treats everyone else. The Cassie that Kate fell in love with.

Kate : Cassie .... kamikaze ....

She realises that it's time to cut the crap. Show Cassie what she really wants to know.

Kate : I hate the way you're so fucking aggressive when you kiss. And I hate the way your bump's bigger than mine, so I have to move round you - yeah, I bet you hate that too right? Against her will, she smiles; then grabs Cassie and kisses her, quickly, much like the speed of her classic run onto the stage at the beginning of a Kamikaze Kate show.

Kate : Kamikaze!

Kate : I'm sorry too. *whispers* Just don't tell anyone I said that, right? Cramps my fucking style.

She feels the love in the kiss, and knows that Cassie isn't lying. They can both be loving - there's just a time and a place to break the outer shell. Kate couldn't be the same bitch to the other Madbirds, and couldn't be a bitch at all to Nikki or Alex. Cassie fit into that category too - like the English language, so many exceptions.

Kate : We go back to where we started yes? We've played with fire, and instead of having fun, we got fucking awful scars. I hope my ring's not really in the gutter, because you have to sell your fatherfucking mother to get bixbite and - I still want to marry you.

Cassie's hands slide down Kate's back and onto her ass as she speaks, and she gives it a playful squeeze.

Cassie: as long as I have exclusivity on this fine fine piece of ass Katie...everything will be fine.

She giggles. Kate brings out the girly side in Cassie, and she both loved it and hated it at the same time. She leaned in again, locking her lips onto those she had missed so desperately lately, and she sighed as they met, feeling all the anger drain away at once. There was no escaping this deep rooted love. She reached into her back pocket of her jeans, and fumbled around, before pulling out the bixbite ring. Cassis placed it on the third finger of her left hand and looked at Kate, smiling.
