Scott looked back over and assumed Gia was still asleep. He reached over and picked up his iPod from the bedside table. He put his earphones in and started to listen to some metal quietly, looking up at the ceiling. |

Gia: Right by the door! Damn!
She takes a deep breathe and looks at the menu.
Gia: Okay, I'll eat fast then walk out.
The waitress comes by and she orders then taps her fingers on the table.
Gia: Of all the days, today is not my day. I can't even believe this and I'm sitting here talking to myself now, great.

Gia stares at her phone then her food arrives. She starts to slowly eat, not really hungry anymore. She looks back at the guy to make sure it's really him.
Gia: He's got that birthmark and that scar I gave him....It's him.
Gia eats one more bite then decides to leave. She leaves money and as she walks out, the guy calls her name. She freezes up and looks back.
Gia: What?
The Guy: You don't remember me?
Gia: Nope, who are you? Don't answer that.
She walks out and keeps walking but the guy follows her.

As Scott walks towards the apartment, he decides to change his route, walking back the slower, but definitely more scenic route. He knows where he's going, but he takes his earphones out to concentrate on the directions. |
