Scott smiles.

"A surprise? Like what?"

Scott laughs.

"Ok then, bye babe. Have a nice week, and I love you."

Scott is sat in his LA house after another long day at rehearsals and preparations for the Chaos Awards. Having had a shower and getting changed into more comfortable clothes, he decided to make some dinner for himself. Yawning, he stretches as some water boils on the stove. He turns on the TV in the corner of the kitchen area of the house and returns to the pot where he pours in some pasta before hopping up on the counter. Despite having just put on the TV, he isn't really paying attention to it, and it was more on for company than anything, since he had felt very lonely in LA without having any of his family and friends around him. He takes his phone out of the pocket of his sweat pants and scrolls through Twitter as he hums tunelessly to himself, patiently passing the time until his pasta cooks.

Scott puts his phone down and yawns again as he waits for his pasta to cook. It was always the same when he did the Chaos Awards, he forgot just how tired it made him to have to go through all the preparation and thousands of rehearsals with all the acts and presenters. He yawns and looks down at the floor as he rubs his face with both hands and sits up. When he hears the doorbell ring, he looks up, surprised. It wasn't often anyone came to visit here, and he didn't know who to expect, especially not in the evening.

Scott hops down from the counter and walks through the house. When he opens the door his tired face breaks into a wide smile as he sees his family for the first time in weeks. "Hey, guys!" He says with a grin, stepping outside and hugging Gia tightly. "God I missed you guys so much. I never even knew you were coming." He smiles again. "It's so good to see you all." He kisses Gia gently.

Scott keeps hugging Gia and smells her hair, something he had really missed in the past few weeks alone. He chuckles a little. "I'm very surprised. How come you're here now, anyway? I thought you guys weren't coming until Friday." He smiles at her. "I'm so glad you're here. Seriously, I've been so lonely without you guys."

He then looks down at Sophie and smiles. He lifts her up and she hugs into him. "Hey Princess. Daddy missed you a lot. Why are you saying look?" He laughs.

Scott laughs. "No not at all, I'm delighted you girls are here. I've been worth nothing without all of you guys being here." He smiles at Gia and then looks back at Sophie. "Baby? You're not a baby Soph you're a big girl." When Sophie hugs him, he smiles and kisses the top of her head. "Awwww you did Soph? Daddy missed you too. No one has been running fast around here." He chuckles and kisses Gia again.

Scott gently pinches Sophie's nose and laughs. "Who's a baby? Not you Soph. You're not a baby." He laughs again. "Awwwww is mommy starving you and not making good eggs?" He chuckles and pouts at Sophie. He smiles at Gia. "I'm holding up alright just now. You know how I get before these big events and stuff though babe. I'm always like this before the Chaos Awards, you know?"

Scott smiles and nods at Gia. "Well thanks, Gi. I appreciate the support a lot, you know?" He turns and walks into the house, putting Sophie down on the floor. She looks up at him. "Run?" She asks. Scott laughs and rubs her hair. "Yeah, Soph, run all you want, but just be careful not to fall and hurt yourself."

Scott watches while Sophie goes running off into the living room, yapping to herself. Scott smiles and then laughs at Gia. "Does that mean I have to go and get the bags then?"

Scott smiles and goes out to the taxi. A few minutes later he comes back into the house and puts the bags down, closing the door. He walks up behind the sofa and kisses Gia on top of the head before walking round and sitting beside her.

"You look tired, Gi. Almost as tired as I feel." He chuckles.
