Yvette: Hello and welcome to the show. Tonight me and 5 fabulous boys are taking on not one but three of the UK's scariest, dominating and most paranormal filled buildings! Will they be tough men and brave it out or will they be crying for their mothers? Welcome to Ghost Hunting With Weekend.
Yvette: I'm here at the first location. This is Richardson Manor, an old mansion that housed one of Britains wealthiest families in the 1800's. Standing derelict in the middle of a forest, which used to be fields of fresh green grass, Richardson Manor is home to numerous entities, the two most famous of which are Clive Harold Richardson the former owner and his wife Julia Richardson. The couple lived here for 20 years and were, and still to this day, the only occupants of the manor alongside their 3 children, maids and animals. Their eldest daughter, Margaret was mentally disabled and had a very violent temper. Legend has it that one night, she got out of her barricaded room, picked up a knife and murdered all living beings in the house, apart from her youngest brother Edward. Shocked upon the discovery, Edward tried to kill his sister for her deeds. No one knows what happened to the two survivors as they walked into the surrounding woods and never returned.
Pre-recorded InterviewsScott: I am a strong believer in the paranormal. I haven't experienced anything myself but I am hoping to over the next three nights and I have a huge love for things like this so taking part is an honour.
Dustyn: When I was growing up, my dad used to tell me that ghosts aren't real and he hates it when people talk about spirits and ouija boards because he believes that it is going against God and stuff like that. I have always been interested though and my dad's not gonna be happy I'm doing this but....oh well? I'm just looking forward to see what the next few nights bring.
Oscar: I'm shitting it...
Yvette: Hey boys, are you all excited......or nervous, what are you feeling?
Oscar: I'm really scared just looking at the building.
Yvette: Come on, a young lad like you shouldn't be scared!
Oscar: I'm a wimp, honestly, so if I start screaming then you know why
Yvette: Well I know who'll be chosen to go on their own tonight
Scott: That should be fun, eh Oz?
Oscar: No please not me, what about Dustyn?
Dustyn: I bloody knew it Yvette, they always pick on me because I'm the little one.
Yvette: Awww, you guys be nice now.
Scott: We're only messing, we would never do that.....well, maybe
Yvette: Ha! Anyway, shall we enter.
Riley: Let's get to it!
Oscar: It smells like.....
Billy: ....dampness or something
Oscar: ....piss
Yvette: This house hasn't been occupied since 1868 so it isn't the best kept I must say.
Dustyn: It's almost as messy as Scott's room
Scott: Nah, this is like a hotel compared to my room!
Yvette: Well this main hall we're standing in now is said to be roamed by a crying maid who likes to touch and move things around. She is also known to actually manifest herself and stand at the top of the stairs, looking down over the people beneath.
Billy: That's not freaky at all.
Riley: So does she like grab you or is it just like she brushes by you?
Yvette: Physically, sort of like a pat on the back type feeling.
Riley: Oh, ok.
Yvette: Shall we move on to the kitchen?
Dustyn: Ah my favourite room in any house
Yvette: Well maybe not this one.
Dustyn: Something horrible happened here I suppose.
Yvette: How did you know? Haha, yes someone was well....hacked in two really. A demented daughter cut her mother in half at the waist and put her body in the vent that is right above Dustyn's head.
Dustyn: Nice! So I shall be moving away from that....
Yvette: Oscar are you ok?
Oscar: Wha...eh...yeh....fine, fine.
Yvette: Ok, well things that happen here are things like drawers and cupboard doors opening, objects moving and wimpering noises. It is the mother's ghost in here. She isn't violent but she does make her presence known.
Riley: Cool!
Yvette: This room is the murderous daughter's room. Her parents barricaded her in every night and she used to scratch at the walls and cut herself. She is very violent and on a previous investigation here, eyewitness have reported actually seeing her crouched in that far left corner groaning and staring right at them. And guess what?
Billy: I know what's coming....
Yvette: One of you lucky boys will be spending a half hour in here on your own later on tonight. Any takers? Oscar?
Oscar: No thank you! Sorry, thanks for asking but no.
Yvette: Billy?
Billy: I would like to but I'm not sure if I'd be able to last a half hour and if she appears, I'll probably die of fright.
Yvette: Oh and I should mention that when you're in here, you must lie on the bed she was tied to. Only for the first few minutes, then you can walk about the room.
Billy: I'm definitely out then.
Riley: The bed bit freaks me out too much.
Scott: Hmmm I'm tempted but I'd probably start screaming.
Oscar: Dustyn will do it!
Dustyn: Oh thanks for that!
Yvette: Dustyn?
Dustyn: Why am I the one being forced to do this?
Scott: I'll do it if you want mate?
Dustyn: No, it's fine. I'll do it just remember if I die or something you'll have to live with it.
Oscar: Five pounds says you can't do it!
Dustyn: Five pounds!?
Oscar: Fifty then
Dustyn: Kiss goodbye to your money Oz!
Yvette: That's the spirit!
Yvette: Now up here is the attic where the girl murdered her father and one of her brothers. She hung her father from that beam up there and stabbed her brother to death.
Riley: Charming
Yvette: Isn't it just? Anway, this is one of the most active places and the feeling of being choked has been experienced here. After Dustyn's investigation I want two of you to stay up here.
Dustyn: I'll do it again!
Yvette: Good on you! Anyone else?
Scott: Go on then.
Yvette: Great! So that means later on, me, Oscar, Riley and Billy can investigate the parent's bedroom.
Oscar: Lovely!
Phycologist's Overview
Dr Wilson: From watching the boys from the moment they arrived, they are already sending out lots of signals. Getting out of the cab, Oscar was standing in the middle of the boys which reflects how nervous he is feeling as he wanted to be surrounded by everyone else to be comforted. Billy sort of trailed at the back, unsure what to think and he is the most interesting to watch as he shows interest but at the last minute, fear always takes over him and he takes a back seat. Riley seems very determined and strong, so far he is the only one to ask questions and is really showing an interest, he may become the leader of the group as the night progresses as Scott, who seems to have elected himself as leader, shows his fear a few times due to facial expressions and the constant turning to Riley as if he is looking for comfort in him. He is trying to set an example and pretend he isn't scared but may crumble as the night goes on. Dustyn who is usually the quiet one has volunteered to go off on TWO vidules, one on his own and one with Scott. He seems to be the most fearless alongside Riley but maybe it is the adrenaline in his system that makes him feel this way, as the night progresses it may wear off and he could become very fragile and sensitive.
