What Alex Says

Again an acoustic based song which is really personal to me. The song was actually wrote not long ago, it was the last addition to the record. Its just basically detailing the aspects of my personal life really, dealing with a relationship which was holding me down and how much i wanted to help revive it, i couldn't. Its really dark and its got a real firm acoustic strum sound to it which holds the backbeat of it really well. Again it doesn't have too much screams but enough to keep it real and raw. There are going to be assumptions and guesses as to who the lyrics are about, but im not going to say because then.. what makes it so personal and mysterious?

The Music

Its an acoustic based song with minimal screaming vocals. Kept clean throughout where Alex provides strong clean vocals where you can sense the rawness on his voice. Alex sings softly through the first verses with a whispering scream at the end before it provides a big bang as drums kick in to help the song kick start. The song is ultimately about trying to change and how his love life sucks, even though he can't stop thinking about this girl.
