stephaniefierce: Early Q&A with my fans for #royalsexstories! I'll take 7 questions before mama goes back to work ;)


Q1: The album cover has to be one of my favorites from you so far! What was the inspiration behind it?

A: Thank you! I wanted the album cover to reflect the energy this record had. There were other album covers that I considered but this one stood out to me the most. I'm very proud of this one!

Q2: The last album had a Disco and EDM infused sound throughout most of the tracks. What kind of genres can we expect on this album?

A: The album is almost like a collaborative effort between all of my albums I've done in the past. So in other words there's not one particular sound it will have. It will have a variety of genres despite it having one visual theme. That's why there is 21 songs because I couldn't possibly do it with the standard 11 I usually go for.

Q3: We're confused because we thought we were getting a Deluxe of Lost of Electronica? Is that still happening?

A: No. That was just a code name for the project because I didn't want to unveil that I had a full-length studio album planned until I had most of the project completed. I didn't really want this to be a surprise release because I think surprise album releases have become very anti-climatic and ironically predictable so I didn't want to do that.

Q4: You recently posted on instagram Stephanie Fierce Vs. Stephy Fierce. Can you tell us more about that?

A: I honestly can't but it will make more sense once you see the film.

Q5: What inspired the title "Royal Sex Stories"?

A: People often label me the "Queen of Pop" or whatever which is cool and all, I don't want to be an asshole to a compliment but I thought it would be really cool to take that "royal persona" and give it more depth by creating a story. Kind of like with "Diary of a Pop Sinner" but at that point I was the "Princess of Pop" ;).

Q6: Are we getting a lead single off this album?

A: Initially there were going to be two singles. However I changed my mind last minute. This albums will not have lead singles or singles at all. Every song will be highlighted in it's own right in the film that will coincide with it. That way the focus is not just on one or two songs but the entire project. I will say though there a lot of stand out tracks on this project that I'm proud of and I'm sure people will grativate more towards. At this point in my career I don't care about charts. I have 20+ #1 singles to my name so I could care less.


Q7: Where is the film going to premiere?

A: Those detailes will be announced very soon :)
