PopCrave: Deirdre Leone, the new CEO of music retailer 'heart&sleeve', announces grand plan to "restore, remaster, and reissue" decades worth of music. Leone and her team are working closely with artists, record labels and streaming services to unearth music projects that are "being lost to time". Part of her plan involves a mass re-release of works on exclusively pressed vinyl to be sold at 'heart&sleeve'. Leone states;

"The music industry is in a desolate state right now. The funding isn't there. The labels are buckling. Independent is the way to go these days but remember when Chaos Records and Studio 60 where the places to be? Albums that defined and shaped an era are now fading to time. Physicals are not being produced and a bunch of stuff isn't on the streaming platforms as everything is now defunct and nobody knows who the rightsholders are or where they even are. At heart&sleeve, we're on a mission to restore, remaster and reissue projects in desperate need of resurrection. It's been a huge passion project and a labour of love but most industry figures and services have been willing to cooperate and license the material. Expect major updates soon, music lovers!"

BriannaHarrington: Contrary to malicious rumours circulating online, I can confirm that @Studio60Records continue to stock gummy sharks in their vending machines. However, the machines with the aforementioned stock have been moved to the fourth floor (corporate level) of the building due to the increased security on this floor. Access to this floor remains only available via appointment.

BriannaHarrington: This is all I will say on the matter at this time.

CultureUncut: Latest round-up of news items hitting the Hot Desk this morning!

CultureUncut: Brand new single from 'Orion' is set to drop "imminently" with the sophomore album reportedly nearing the final stages of post-production. Tracklisting for the album is locked in, barring any last minute additions/amendments.

CultureUncut: Early stage rumours of a brand new reality dating series reportedly in the works fronted by Maliah Aguilar. Concept is still being finalised but it's likely that couples will be randomly paired together for a week to test if there's a spark. Names are reportedly already being rumoured. More news to follow when we have it.
