Alec frowns a little. "I was engaged for a little bit... I think I've told you that before. She was pregnant, and after she miscarried... That's basically when our relationship started to fall apart. I just don't think I could go through that again. At least not for a long long while..." He answers solemnly.

Alec is surprised that Honor thinks he's had a hard life. "I guess I never thought about me having a hard life..." He says back with a shrug. "I've always been too cynical for my own good. I just assumed bad things happen to people like that." He laughs.

Honor laughs. "That was beautiful dude. Really deep and stuff." She laughs again and then looks at him. "I was once. I agree, it felt amazing and I loved it but I also hated it because it made me open and vulnerable, I have a hard time being open about certain things. I kind of like being all wild yet a mystery but with him, I was exposed. It ended up biting me in the ass at the end and he hurt me really bad. Which is why I haven't dated in a long time." |
