Mariko gently takes her hand from Nina's. " true...but there are things I left out.... I do not want you to end up hating me. " Mariko says,not caring if anyone in the lobby hears. She takes a deep breath. " emerald and I were fighting,she had me pinned. So I had my thumbs in her eyes...deeply. She hit me with the bottle. It did knock me out....and I did nearly bleed to death." Mariko takes another deep breath. "When I came to,emerald was still there. She was scared. She did slap me first,she did threaten to kill me if we were together again...but those are the details I left out. " Mariko says softly. " I wanted revenge....but not by lying to you. Mariko turns away from nina. |

Nina thinks for a moment and then turns her back around . " Well ... You didn't start the fight , right ? She hit you first ? " She says almost relieved . She wasn't as confused anymore now that she knows Mariko told her the truth . She wouldn't lie and then say she lied and come up with a better lie . And even if Emerald is still kind of in the wrong if she hit first , Nina wouldn't have to go and fight her trying to stick up for Mariko , they could just simply talk about what they should do about this mess . She once again grabs her hand and calmly leads them out of the hotel . |

mariko feels greatly relieved since she got that off her chest. if nina didnt want her to come along,she easily could have let the chaos unfold...from a comfortable distance. "yes. that is true." mariko nods. very relieved that nina didnt keep walking without her. she smile slightly when nina takes her hand and leads her out. "i think i am better for you than her." she says in a small voice. in her head,it sounded a lot less creepy than it did actually being said. |

Nina continues to head to Emerald's place . The whole time she starts to think balancing a scale , knowing once she gets there it is simply going to be Emerald or Mariko . She doesn't want Mariko to just be a one night stand . She actually liked her . At the same time she has been with Emerald for 2 months and it would be wrong if she just up and left her . Plus she broke her phone and put up with Nina . It would be a big slap in her face if she just up and left her . But at the same time Nina didn't know if she actually felt the same that Emerald feels for her . She keeps saying she loves Nina , but Nina doesn't know if she loves Emerald back . She doesn't respond to what Mariko says and just keeps walking , continuing to think as she finally steps to Emerald's door and knocks . |

Nina ignores the fact that she is crying . " I guess . " She says looking down at her feet , knowing how awkward this must be for Mariko . " I want you to know that I still like you and all , I just need to clear my head ... " It's noticeable she doesn't say I love you , she has never said that to anyone before , and sadly she didn't start with Emerald . |

Nina stands there with wide eyes . She isn't completely freaking out because she has seen people get stabbed before ... but people who stab themselves ? That was something new . She stands there for a second and then runs over to her . " Call the police ! " She yells back at Mariko . She doesn't take the knife out , but applies pressure . " The fuck ! Why would you do that ?! " Nina looks at all the blood pumping out and watches as it gets all over her hands . " Dios mio ! " She She says trying to stay as calm as she can as she continues to add pressure . |
