Katie shrugs. "I guess you're right. I should talk to him about it. I'm just....rubbish at telling people things that upset me." She narrows her eyes. "End up like what?" She strokes the cat again. "She's so cute. We just got a dog. I don't know its name."

Lucas laughs and takes the phone. "Hello?" He says. "Hi daddy! Bye!" He laughs again and looks at Shay. "Car?" Katie nods at Dustyn. "Doesnt his little hearing aid help?"

Katie shakes her head and laughs when she realises how ridiculous it sounds. "No. It's not my dog. I don't really like them but Hayden wanted it and Lucas likes it, so I don't mind if they want it there." She listens carefully and nods. "Oh....really? That doesn't sound good. Who has been frosty? You mean he has?"

Lucas watches again as Shay spins the wheels on the car and then stands up. "Like this..." he says, picking the car the right way up and pushing it so it rolls along the floor. He laughs and claps his hands. Katie nods. "Yeah. They have tests they can use to say how well it works. Where they play those beeping noises. Have you done one of those?"

Katie watches as Shay walks over to Dustyn and she smiles. When they go to the kitchen, Lucas gets up to walk to Katie and smiles. "Gone home?" he asks. Katie shakes her head. "No sweetie. They just went to get a drink." She goes into her bag and takes out a juice cup, giving it to Lucas. He takes it and sits back on the floor to drink.

Katie scowls a little and looks concerned. "Why do you mean? What happened?" She stares at him, worried about what truth would have made Blake turn distant from Dustym. She smiles at Shay when he comes back with Dustyn. "Hi Shay! Have you got some juice now?" Katie smiles a little. "Maybe..I suppose he might just be cleverer than us all and he doesn't want to hear what we have to say."

Lucas looks at the car and then back at Shay when he claps. When he rolls his bottle, Lucas laughs and chases the bottle. "Not a car!" he says, bringing the bottle back and handing it to Shay.

Katie listens to Dustyn and nods. It was something she had experienced in the past, especially when she had been with both Vanity and Nicole. She sighs. "That's....not your fault if you felt like that. Besides, would he have preferred for you to just bottle it up and keep worrying. It's not your fault Dustyn." She smiles at him. "What happened after you said it though? What changed?"

When Shay comes over with his bottle, Katie looks down and chuckles. "Are you sharing your juice with me Shay?" She takes the bottle and pretends to take a drink from it. "That's lovely juice, thank you!" she says, handing it back to him. "He's so cute Dustyn."

Katie had always liked Blake, but she found herself feeling mad at him for treating Dustyn in this way simply for speaking his mind about something had been worrying him. "Is he here?" she asks, almost feeling like she wants to go through and confront Blake about the whole thing. "I can imagine how it feels to lie next to someone who doesn't want to be next to you. That's pretty cold." She shakes her head again. "Maybe you just need to tell him that you need a frank talk and you need to know how he feels. It's not fair to play with your mind like that."

Lucas takes the bottle from Shay and shakes it a little before he rolls it across the floor and laughs loudly. "More car!" he shouts and chases after it.

Katie giggles. "Well that's true Dustyn. It would be hard not to be cute for one of your kids. So where are the twins by the way?"

Katie smiles. She then shakes her head. "So is he not going to come out and say hello then? He's not like hiding away from you is he? That would really really suck." She scowls again at the thought of their relationship being so strained they can't even be in the same room together. "You should talk to him. It wouldn't be good for either of you to just hide away from each other forever. Make him speak to you and tell you how he really feels. If it really is that bad....then maybe you should try to move on. it's not worth always being sad, Dustyn."

Lucas laughs as he watches Shay shake the bottle. "Bubbles, Say, Bubbles!" he says, pointing at the cup.

Katie shrugs. "Well then...I thought he was my friend as well, but I guess he was just pretending to me too." She looks at Dustyn for a few seconds and sighs. "I know. I know how you feel, and I've been there before when I was with Andrea, but you have to just remember that sometimes things just don't work and then it can be better to just try to be happy. You might even find someone better. That's only if it doesn't get better and you aren't happy though." She smiles sympathetically.

Lucas claps his hands and then as Shay tries to feed him some juice, he drinks a little bit and then laughs. Katie looks over at them and giggles.

Katie sighs and shrugs a little. She knew how Dustyn felt so she could relate to the way he felt, even though she felt sorry that he might be stuck somewhere with someone who wasnt always treating him right. When he gets up to go get the baby, Katie puts her head in her hands and groans, sure she had done more harm than good. She shakes her head and when Dustyn returns, she looks up. "Is he OK?"

Lucas laughs when Shay keeps trying to feed him. "Mommy look! Mommy!" He shouts, laughing. Katie smiles. "I see, baby."

Katie nods and holds her hands out towards Dustyn, still feeling bad about what she had said about his marriage. She takes the baby and smiles. "He's so cute," she whispers. "Look how tiny he is."

Lucas laughs and pats Shay on the head. "Good boy!" He says, giggling.

Katie smiles and gently strokes the baby's head as he cries in her arms, trying to get him to calm down and stop crying. "He's such a little cutie Dustyn." She rocks Koa ever so gently from side to side to get him to stop crying, singing gently to him.

Lucas smiles when Shay speaks . he looks up at Dustyn. "He speak. Say speak!" He claps his hands. "Yay Say!"
