Kai watches Faith walk over and get the beers, and he takes the one she hands him. When she takes the lid off with her teeth, he tries to be "more badass" and knocks the bottle off the side of the sideboard, smashing the top of it. He shrugs and starts to drink, not worrying if he cuts his mouth as he listens to her speak. "Right....? You hear that you silly cunt?" he says, addressing his own brain as he slaps himself in the head. In all the time he had been screwing Faith, he only had one second where he felt like there was something between them. As much as he loved fucking her, the thought of a relationship with anyone terrified him. It was why he was drinking now. He shrugs when she questions him. He takes a long drink of his beer. "Fucked Wynter, and now my brain won't shut the fuck up," he mutters. "I'm trying to knock myself out with this shit." If he wasn't drunk, there's no way he would have admitted that to anyone, but right now he didn't care - he didn't even think how it might make Faith feel.

Kai scowls when Honor takes his beer away. In his drunken state, that was his way to look cool, and here she was just taking it from him. "Meh...it's fine," he says, taking the new bottle and drinking from it. "Glass is cool. If half the shit I've taken in my life didn't kill me then bit of a shitty bottle won't do it. Wait...what was that movie? The kid got glass in his heart? Something about a snow queen?" he rambles before shrugging and laying back, trying to drink without sitting up, spilling it all over himself. When Faith laughs at his story, he feels a little offended. This was something that had enraged Kai and made him want to get so drunk that he couldn't remember sleeping with Wynter and Faith thought it was funny? He nods slowly. "That's the one. Yeah. She was out and flirting, so I thought why not. A hot girl's a hot girl even when they're a cunt. Brought her back here and she was all over me. She came all over my fucking bedsheets though. I had to sleep out here," he says, trying to find any reason to criticise Honor. "She was alright," he says non committally. "Nothing special."

"Maybe it was just a dream then. Who knows. I have thought up some crazy shit when I've been high in my life. How the fuck can you not watch TV though? That's mental." He sits up and groans. In many ways, he was glad to have Faith here. She was the only person Kai could really relate to in any way and it was good to have someone to talk to rather than just seeking his answers in a crate of warm beer. "Because....." he didn't want to say it. "Because the stupid bitch made me realise I have the capacity to...like people. Her....you...fuckin' hell. It's a mess, Browdy." He groans and holds his head.

Kai laughs. "I only watch it for shows like Breaking Bad. I'm waiting for the end of that show to see Bryan Cranston dropped into a witness protection scheme, which will be the start of Malcolm in the Middle," He laughs and takes a swig of his beer again. "I've never seen my strange addiction. I'd be too worried they'd see one of my own addictions as "weird"." He yawns and looks over at her with a little scowl, mostly because she was making a lot of sense, and he didn't like to think positively. "But....ya know....I'm Kai. I'm supposed to fuck and fuck off...and now I'm lying here this morning thinking "a girlfriend would maybe be quite cool, actually. I wanted to amputate my own brain for a minute." He sighs. The thought was clearly embedded in his mind, no matter how he tried to rid himself of it.

Kai laughs. "He was the reason I watched it in the first place. I wanted to see what would happen if they gave that weird Malcolm in the Middle girl some crystal meth....but alas, nope." He smirks. "You and Cranston would make quite a couple, love. Every meth dealer clearly needs an HPA on his arm." He laughs and lays back down, looking at the ceiling. "I have drank my own piss once. Three times. Once was for a bet, and the other two was just to prove it." He laughs. "And you've kissed this month as well...." He closes his eyes as he listens to her speak. "Fuck that. I'm like the tattooed Peter Pan. My brain can fuck off as well if it thinks I want to grow up. What an absolute wanker. After all I've done for it as well." He sighs and slaps his own forehead. "Yeah, cos the ladies are just fucking lining up to date Kai Rollins," he says sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

Kai takes the cigarette pack from Faith and lights one. "I never understood "daddy issues." What in the name of fuck does that even mean?" He shakes his head and takes a long drag. "Most issues people have in their own head are fucking mental." Being drunk, Kai finds this pun hilarious and falls on the floor, laughing hard at his own unintentional joke. "Self five!" he yells, slapping his own hand before he drags himself back onto the couch and lifts the cigarette from the floor. "Yeah. I'm a reet fuckin' catch, innit?" He shakes his head and sits back on the seat. "I'm sure. I think there are some girls who wouldn't go near me with a barge pole - that's 99% of them. And then the other 1% are people like you who just want cock. There is no third group."

Kai smiles when Faith doesn't get his joke. "Sometimes I forget you Americans dont get a lot of our humour. With a u." He chuckles. "Weird? Thanks love, I appreciate that. Besides, it's why you keep coming back. Admit it, you'd hate it if I was normal wouldnt you?" When she puts her feet up, Kai looks at her and then back out of the window, one hand just nonchalantly rubbing the bottom of her leg. The two were certainly more comfortable around each other than in the past. He listens to her and nods. She was probably right, even if Kai didn't want to admit it. His "fuck the world" attitude was unlikely to be endearing to all that many women. "Yeah I guess so..." He says. "I can always try. When she asks him to name someone he wants to date, Kai sighs a little and looks at her. He shakes his head. It seemed odd, because he had spent most of the time with Faith being physically inside her, but he felt as close to her as he did anyone apart from his family. He laughs a little quietly. "You wouldn't like it if I named who I wanna date, Browdy. Believe me on that one," he says, trying to play it cool and still look like the suave dude he thought he was.

Kai smirks. "It's why everyone likes Kai. Hes a fucking maverick and a lone fucking star. I think it makes me exciting or summat." He laughs and gives her leg a little squeeze. "That time in the club was fun. I remember it still. I liked how I got to come in you without a condom. It's the little things in life that keep you happy eh?" He laughs again and shakes his head. "Nah it in't Wynter love. She just made me realise how I could be with someone. More like....she made me realise that there was someone else I would rather have been there with." He shakes his head at how ridiculous it sounded in his head. "Just a girl I fuck sometimes with a lot of tattoos," he says quietly. He almost hoped sheddidn't hear him but he said it anyway, knowing it wouldn't make any difference anyway.

Kai looks over at Faith. There was no doubt there had been some sort of change in him recently. He never would have dreamed that the presence of another person would be able to make him feel better, but Faith calmed him and he felt a lot happier than he did before she arrived. He smiles when she kisses him. "Yeah....what else can a bloke do when his favourite fuck buddy comes to cheer him up?" He laughs. "I know. Most girls are all 'no wear a rubber'. That's why I like fucking you.....well that and that sweet little puss you've got under there." He winks at her. "Obama care ftw love," he laughs, mock saluting. When he mentions a girl with tattoos and she doesn't catch on, Kai sighs. It wasnt easy for him to talk about stuff like this, and he hoped hints would be enough. "Lucky girl? I think most would call anyone I like an unfortunate bastard...." There's a moment of silence...too long for Kai to handle. This was freaking him out a bit. "Yeah.....I meant you," he says with a shrug standing and walking to the window and staring out. "Go if you want, love. I know....I know, stupid shit to say."

Kai can barely stand the silence in the room. It wasnt often that he or Faith were dumbstruck, but saying something as out of left field as he just did certainly seemed to have done the trick. He stands and stares out of the window for a moment, waiting to hear the bang and the Faith shaped hole in his front door when she panics at his ridiculous statement. When she speaks, he's genuinely surprised she's still here. He scratches his chest but doesn't look around. He was embarrassed and scared. There really was a first time for everything. "I didn't have a clue either. Not til that time....when we cuddled on your couch. I tried to hide it and shit you know? From myself I mean. Told meself it wasn't real." He shrugs. "I guess fucking Wynter made me realise it was true. I just thought.....what about Browdy? Last time you and I...had sex...I was thinking 'I hope she isn't fucking someone else.'" He shakes his head and sighs. Every word that came from his mouth sounded like it was from a different person. This wasn't like Kai at all. "Fuck....fucking ridiculous innit?" He laughs, running his fingers through his hair slowly. He's kind of glad when she says she doesn't want to leave, and he smiles gently. "Nah...if you don't want to go it's OK. I don't mind. I'll be fine," he says, forcing a smile."You can stay love." He wwalks back over to the couch and sits where he was before, rubbing his face with both hands. "Do you want a beer?" He asks, trying to change the subject.
