Ryan chuckled, nodding his head. "You got a point there. I mean if Hayden likes my music then even my worst enemy would enjoy it too. There's not denying that I do have the people who think my music sucks and my guitar skills are ripped off. I've never met these people either but it's not like people come up to me and tell me I'm an untalented prick. Thank you, it's nice to hear that form you. You're extremely talented yourself too in all the range of things you do. You've found success in everything you have done." He smiled, still embracing her hand. He felt like there was something about Isabel, in the person that she was, that made him comfortable in his mind. He had the tendency to overanalyze every little thing, particularly people that came into his life, but with Isabel it didn't feel like she had any malicious intentions towards him or was disinterested in him. "Oh no, I might have a longer career thus far than you, but your last album just blow the top off of things. I don't know anyone who didn't know about that record. It took me a while, I'll admit, to get into most new music of this era, but I've learned to enjoy it. I think that while the times change, it doesn't mean that it's any less important than the record I consider great from when I was growing up. Their just different and that's perfectly fine." He smirked at her, leaning a bit more forward. "I don't think you'll quite see me be anything but sweet to you, honey. I've really enjoyed your company so far." He told her, his lips spreading more of a smile across it, his eyes gazing at her. Their moment was interrupted as the waitress returns with the chocolate lava cake Izzy ordered. "As I said though, our night together isn't over yet." He told her with a grin. She places it down on Izzy's side of the table with two forks beside the plate. He thanks the waitress and asks for the check.

"Rarely does anyone see success coming their way. Personally, I thought my music was going to find a nice niche in music that I could make a career out of, but never something that would be considered a major thing." Ryan nods his head, understanding where she was coming from. "I don't know how you can do it. If I had become successful when I was 19 or 20, I would have lost my fucking mind. I nearly did lose my mind and I didn't sign my first record deal until I was 23 or 24 years old. So I have a lot of respect for anyone who can reach your success and fame, yet still remain grounded and not turn into pricks. It does call for a lot of new, some uncomfortable experiences, but no one would trade a music career for a desk job." He chuckled, shaking his head, squeezing her hand lightly. "Nope. Sorry, Iz. You'll just have to wait and see. I did tell you I was full of surprises, so." He smiles before drinking the rest of the wine that was left in his glass.

"You were probably one of the few people who could take that level of success so early in life. We all know there's a long list of people who get really successful in their teen years, then everything's downhill from there." He smiled, noticing her obviously enjoying the cake. "I'm not much of a chocolate fan, but it that cake does look quite good." Ryan's attention turns to the waitress returning with the check, smirking and nodding his head at her. He slowly slid his hand out from underneath hers, looking over the bill before reaching into his back pocket for his credit card and placing a hundred dollar bill tip as well, handing it back to the waitress. "I'm thinking it will be a surprise you'll like. I mean I already got lucky once tonight with the steakhouse." He told Izzy with a smirk, the waitress returning with his credit card and thanking him. "By all means, take you time, doll. I don't want you to choke on chocolate lava cake. That would be a horrible date." He chuckled a little, his face turning more serious when he notices the hostess coming to their table who leans in to whisper something quietly to Ryan. "Are you serious? Fucking hell."

Ryan mummers a few things back to the hostess before she leaves the table. He shakes his head, looking down at the table as he sighs underneath his breath. "Everything is fine, don't worry about it." He told Izzy with a forced small smirk as he put his credit card back into his wallet and slid it into his back pocket once again. "We just seem to have company waiting for us outside, if you will. I don't know how word got it, I don't know if they know you're here or I'm here, or if we're together. But I was just told that we have some paparazzi's gathering outside." He ran a hand quickly to his hear. It wasn't that he wasn't use to the paparazzi's because he had been in this game long enough to know that they would appear in a public setting, especially when he was with someone else who was too famous. It was just frustrating to him that they had to appear tonight when he was trying to have a successful date with Izzy.

Ryan took a deep breath as she spoke, knowing perfectly well that while they were a bother, he couldn't let it drastically change the direction of how their evening has gone thus far. "Yeah, I know. I just dislike the fact that they had to show up here tonight. On date four or five it's a different story." He said with a light chuckle, trying to lighten the mood a bit. "I told the hostess to have them bring my car to the back exit, she'll lead us out through the back. If I had known this, I would have hired a decoy." While he said that jokingly, there have been times in the past where he avidly wanted to avoid paparazzi's that he would hire decoy cars so he could sneak away without being seen.

Ryan smirks at her, his hands looking back at her. "I'm really happy to hear that you've enjoyed it this far in." He smiled a bit as she felt her hand squeeze his. "Yeah, we can get out of her. I already paid and the hos.." Before he can finish his sentence, the hostess returns to tell them that their car is waiting at the back of the restaurant. The hostess awaits for them as she'll lead the way for them out. He returns his attention quickly back to Izzy. "Hey, don't get nervous about any of that, Iz. I don't think they'll go that far tonight and even if tried, I promise nothing will happen to you. When you're out with me, nothing bad's gonna happen to you. That's a male cliche, I know, but I mean that." He assured her with a smile as he stood up from his chair, holding out his hand to her. "Come on, at least going through the back no one will see us holding hands either. Hopefully." He told her as he grinned and awaiting for her to get up as well.

Ryan takes a hold of her hand once she grabs all her belongings, he led the way, following close behind the hostess who swiftly showed them the back entrance. He chuckled a little at her joke, his mind a bit caught up in just getting out of the area unseen to formulate a good comeback for it. Once they were outside, he could hear rumblings and chatter from the front entrance of the restaurant. There weren't any paparazzi's in the back area where the valet attendee had his car ready. He let his hand slip out of Izzy's opening the passenger door for her to step inside. "Maybe that sweater shield will be needed a bit later. I think we're good right now though, Iz." He told her with a small grin as her hair covered her face. "They'll just think I'm with some mysterious female." He mentioned in passing as he let Izzy get inside. He rushed to the opposite side of his car, pulling out a tip to give to the valet parking attendant from his wallet before stepping inside as well. "SO far, so good, right?" He suggested with a chuckle, starting to drive slowly and making a right turn to the side of the restaurant where the entrance would come into view as he drove on. "I'll try not to play bummer cars with any paparazzi's body or anything."

Ryan put his seat-belt on, smirking her way. He slid his hand to her lap, tapping it lightly to comfort her a little more. "I told you everything was going to be okay, don't worry." He smiled lightly, moving his hand back to the gear shift as he continued to drive slowly over the speed bumps. "Well maybe it's just a gene all celebrities have to buy black SUV's. I just bought this Range Rover because I'm a fan of the car and prefer black cars. I only drive this car here though. I have a truck when I'm into Montana, makes it feel a lot more country and small-town feel to it. It's also black, but there's no paparazzi's there so that's all personal taste." He told her with a small chuckle. Once his car peaked out the corner of the restaurant, a few paparazzi's quickly took note of it, rushing to snap a few pictures by the passenger side of his SUV. He wasn't sure if they could get any picture of both of them, but before they could take more Ryan took a left turn and drove off down the boulevard. "That could have gone worse, right?"

Ryan smiled back at her as she spoke of trusting him, resting his wrist over the wheel as they reach a red light. "You're a truck kind of gal? Now that I did not expect to hear. We'll have to get you in my truck. You can dress up in some cowgirl attire. A plaid shirt, denim shorts, a pair of boots." He suggested with a soft chuckle as he imagined her in some southern attire. "Now that's the first time I've heard someone refer to paparazzi's as ninjas. I mean, I think they're more like that annoying mosquito that hounds you for a period of time until you kill swat it away." He laughed a little, returning his attention to the road as he listened to her. "They do usually show up at the worst time possible. That's personally why I only go to the beach if it's in somewhere that there aren't any chance of someone taking your picture. Even if it means catching a one day jet out to Hawaii or something."

"Apparently so." He added with a small laugh, raising an eyebrow as he looked over at her, his eyes moving up and down her figure. "If we're being honest, the sight of you in shorts sounds quite appealing. I could even lend you one of my hats, but they might just be a little too big on you." He smirked, chuckling as she spoke. "Only on special occasions? Well hopefully going for a ride in my truck up in Montana is considered a special occasion." He suggested with a wink before laughing under his breath. His face became more serious as she spoke about being followed by paparazzi's. "My goodness, I can imagine that's a pretty scary experience. I've had moments like that before, it's a nuisance. I'll have to show you some really nice hiding spots I've come to learn about in my years around the business."
