"the fuck?" erich whispers as her head touches his shoulder. he kisses the top of her head and puts his arm around her. in spite of the venue,it still feels nice. "you should know that. i'm crazier than any 4 people in this place." he chuckles.

"i am not angry,ada. not at all. even when you did...it,again.i wasnt angry.i wasnt hurt..i know some habits dont just go POOF! at the flip of a switch.i knew it would happen again." he reaches for her hand."i want you to be mine forever. i'm tough and can handle whatever you throw at me. i'm in this for the duration." erich looks out the doorway before speaking. "i've given up lsd and mescaline.permanently." he says looking back to her. "never again."

"i love you,ada.i love hearing you say that.its been too long since i've heard it." erich says smiling at his wife.he squeezes her hand. "because of you?....um,yes and no. i had a bad trip that....."he shakes his head. "i'll tell you later." he tries changing the subject. "so.they are treating you well in here?"

"you want some company? i'm pretty sure i can get myself committed fairly easily." erich says looking around.

erich nods to the nurse and stands to get ready to go. he hugs ada tightly. " i love you so much,ada. so so much." he says looking away so she cant see his eyes water.

"i know,miss ada.i know. damn doctors go to school for 30 years and assume they know something." he laughs and kisses her once more before leaving.he pops his head back in the door once and blows her a kiss. "bye,miss hess."

he hums as he walks out to meet castor and nina,feeling 134% better after seeing his wife and knowing she still exists and didnt step into a wormhole and was transported to the 14th century.

"just about." erich says,putting down a dish of kibble for the ever hungry dietrich. "if we could find some way to make the building creak and groan while bounding over the sea..." he laughs and hugs ada. rather happy to be alone with ada.

erich looks around the apartment while in ada's embrace. "it does feel homey here.very warm and secure." he says smiling at his wife. "you know much about new york?"

i think they are called real girls,and if i recall...they were about 4 grand a piece.they might be more now. i always wondered just what the heck you would do with them when not...using them. put them in a closet and freak grandma out?

being from florida,erich owns no warm clothes. he does put on a knit cap he found at a bus stop. possibly lice infested,but the pomade should stop any lice from reaching his scalp. he takes his wife's hand and heads out the door. "i do have to say,i kinda like having you all to myself here."
