Video: Be Perfectionist; Choosing the Lead single off "Immortal"




Well, February 3rd is getting closer and as we approach it the love, support and excitement that is coming from the fans is just overwhelmingly great! We want to take out a moment and say thank you for all of it and we are working extremely hard to make sure this album is something all of you will enjoy! As always, choosing the first single is the hardest task ;) Pictured above is Stephanie Fierce who's surrounded by a group of friends that are sound engineer experts. These wonderful people aren't here to touch anything on the soundboard, but to give critiques on two songs and trust me when I say this, they are the most honest critiques ever. They tell it how it is, and won't sugar coat things for me.

Jacob: "I really loved the first song because I think that's what the fans want from you at this point. They want a song that gives them a kick ass listening experience. Plus, just imagine the possibilities when it comes to doing a live performance"

Stephanie Fierce nods and starts reflecting.

Ariel: (interrupting Jacob) "But the second song is capable of doing just that, you dummy! Like, can't you get that through your freaking over sized head".

Stephanie Fierce: (opens mouth wide) "Ouch!"

Jacob: (Continuing his critique with a louder tone and sarcastically as if not bothered by the interruption) "Something that kind of bites back at the haters, but at the same time, something that sounds great and different from something you've done before. If anything, this song represents you and your character Steph. This songs shows your inner strength and it has bite. This is what the fans want Stephanie! The second just doesn't cut it for me. It's like Kesha without autotune."

Stephanie Fierce: (laughs) "Oh boy"

Jonathan: "Sorry Jacob, I disagree I like the second song, because it is much more fun and loose vibe. The lyrics are also great and quite refreshing because they're not so serious but playful. I don't think they sound very "Kesha" at all. It leans more to something Fierce would sing in her debut album. But at the same time though, however there has to be a song that leads into it. So Ariel is right in a sense.,

Luis: "The title of the album is called "Immortal". In order to correlate with the album, I'm gonna have to go with the first song. But the first song is a great lead and it has what it takes to be the comeback song that leads on to the second one"

Stephanie nods, and looks at Luis with confidence.

Manny: "It's hard to chose but I actually prefer the first song. It has the edge and it has that bad ass 90's slamming beat radio's been missing. It's pretty obvious that when you hear the first song that it has Fierce written all over it. I must also compliment the fact that Steph's voice sounds much more tough and different from anything she's ever done before. I think the best choice here is the first song, and then the second song can serve well as the follow up."

Jacob: "I love you all, but you're all idiots! Stephanie please tell me you agree with me, come on like...like you know where I'm coming from"

Ariel: (Says sarcastically) Oh everyone drop their things and be quiet cause Jacob has spoken (sticks out tongue)

Manny: (looks at Ariel trying not to laugh) "Stephanie you have to go with your gut. I like the first song, but I'm just kind of grooving a little more to the second one. It's a hard choice"

Stephanie Fierce: (continues laughing in amazement, but then gets back into "serious mode")"Ok guys it's getting kind of heated, how about we make the both songs the first single? Ever thought of that? Plus, I've already shot the video for the first one, so I'm not gonna be taking any steps backwards. I think dual singles is a risky thing, but i'm not here for commercial success anyways, so it doesn't matter. Looks like we've made a decision!

Stephanie Fierce Confirms Lead Singles off "Immortal"




Over the years, Stephanie Fierce has experienced an incredible roller coaster ride in the realm of the tough music industry. In 2012 however, Fierce went on to release up to three studio albums, all which saw major differences in commercial success. Out of the three, her sixth studio album Life's Good coincidentally became the most successful. The album went on to sell over 4.5 Million copies worldwide and spawned out three consecutive number one singles. Back To Fierce, which is now considered to be one of Fierce's classics went on to win Best Single at The Chaos Awards. Despite some setbacks with her 7th studio album Love is Lust, Fierce went on to release an EP titled Man Music, which is already close to selling a million copies worldwide. Many critics agree that the E.P. contains one of Fierce's best penned songs and production work. Despite the record's success, Fierce kept the promo scheme for the EP on the low as she worked on her next studio album Immortal. Fierce explained that the EP was released to hold her fans over til the next album.

Immortal, which is now confirmed to be released on May 5th, 2013 has already seen an incredible amount of anticipation. A new website titled www.Be-Immortal.com was launched upon the announcement of the new album and so far Fierce has already kicked-off major promo, despite being on the road on a busy sold out world tour. But just to kind of recap on everything, just recently Fierce was featured on the cover of GQ magazine, where she also gave a personal interview to speak about the upcoming album. Fierce has also appeared on BET's 106 & Park to promote her new upcoming film and fragrance and has taped an interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show with the cast of Diary of a Pop Sinner. But an even bigger event that's coming up is the Superbowl which will be taking place on February 17th, 2013. Fierce is confirmed to be the half-time performer and the pressure is definitely on as the date grows closer. But have no fear, cause Billboard is here with a exciting exclusive that came from Fierce herself.

Fierce has unveiled to us that lead single off Immortal will be titled Insane. Insane is described to be an R&B, Pop, Electronic Rock track with bite-back lyrics and the song will be available for immediate digital download and radio support upon it's release on February 17th, 2013.

"The song is called Insane. I wrote the song one day when I literally woke up crying. This was around October. I just felt like crap and depressed and I couldn't even go anywhere and I was just really feeling horrible. I made fists and then I said to myself, I'm tired of feeling unhappy, I'm tired of people pressuring me and holding things against me. I'm tired of lies, fabrication and that's when I wrote this song. It was very therapeutic for me, and when I went to into the studio, I just kind of wanted to show a personal anger, rather than something that was created for a track or an alter ego." - Stephanie Fierce

Fierce will also be releasing another song which is titled Bad Behavior on the same day.
