It is time for me to say goodbye to Studio60 Records. Over 12 years ago, I decided to leave a major record label in order to be the first signing ever at the very inception of Studio60. It was in all regards considered a risky business decision. Ultimately, it is one that panned out, as the label is now one of the biggest entities in the entire industry. While the partnership has been fruitful, upon the release of my next solo project, my contractual obligations to Studio60 will cease as I've opted not to sign a new deal with the company. I am thankful to Greg Walls and the entire Studio60 staff for the last dozen years of support. There are connections and friendships built from that which will last for the rest of my life.

As the world evolves, so has how music is consumed and delivered. With that in mind, I will be venturing into a new direction in how I showcase and release future artistic work, starting with the long-awaited collaborative album with Ellie-Grace Summers. Both of us and our respective teams have been working tirelessly to present that album and the ensuing world tour in the way that we envision it. So in 2023, we will finally bring you Amongst the Madness. Before then, it is time for me to go at it alone and bring you some new songs. Very, very soon. 💞🎸

Late Fragment, my 8th studio album and final release under Studio60 Records, will be out November 11. It's a collection of songs that at their core are about the different facades of love, from its early stages of first kisses and learning someone else to the comfort of cohabiting and building a future with the person you know is your forever. Along the way facing your own fears and reservations within a blooming romantic relationship. The title is taken from a poem of the same name that American writer Raymond Carver wrote while he was dying of lung cancer at age 50 that centered around what he wanted and ultimately felt as he achieved in his life; to call oneself beloved and to feel oneself beloved. While it is such a simple notion, one that we all strive ourselves for, it's not easily obtained. I consider myself lucky to be at a place in my life where I too can say I am beloved and hopefully have many more decades ahead of me to receive and give as much love as possible. This special record was produced with the supremely talented and my dear friend Ellie-Grace Summers. Can't wait for you all to hear it and make it your own. May it soundtrack your own love stories. 💛
