After an cancelled album , and 2 non-album singles, aliya rose got signed to Kaleidoscope Records for an 1 Album deal. 2 weeks after the announcement, that Aliya got signed, she released the her third single overall and the lead single from 'Party Is Over' , called "Let Them Know". 'Party Is Over' has writing credits by Aliya Rose and Barbie Doll, and production credits by The Dream, Doctor Luke and Bobby Blanco. It's including genres of Pop, R&B and Hip Hop and has elements of Reggae, Techno, Soul and Dance. Aliya Rose on 'Party Is Over' Quote: "It's been a weird journey. I literally did everything to get this EP done. It's been a fight with myself, I wanted an Album, but I cancelled it. Why? I was an Independant Artist, some of the people out there may see this as easy, but hell no. It's not. I auditioned for thousand of Labels, but in the end Kaleidoscope signed me. It was really an emotional and happy moment. No lies, some tears also fell. And now, this EP is here. It's the beginning of a new Era. It's a pretty mixed EP, including Party Music, Club bangers but there are also some sad ballads and don't forget 'Kiss Forever'. It's probably one of the stand outs. It's just a Happy song. There is also 'Stay With Me', it's a collaboration with Payton. We've been friends for a while now, we sure had our fights but I do really like him. He's probably one of the few ones I can count as friends in this business. And yeah, 'Stay With Me' is one of the sad ones. It's really a heartbreak song. It's also about sex, but got 'softened' , which means, that it's kind of censored. It's the first Song she ever has co-produced. It's written once again completly alone by Aliya Rose and the song is categorised as an Soul and R&B song, which has mainly a Piano in the Instrumentals, the Piano got played by Aliya herself and the soft beats, which harmonize softly with the Piano got produced by The Dream, who's one of the main producers on the EP. "Empty" is an heartbreak song, which explains the pain of somebody who got broken-up by somebody / got cheated by somebody. Aliyas voice is raspy and deep in the Verses, but gets higher and strong in the Chorus. MTV noted that this song, is one of the only songs on the EP which actually shows how strong and high Aliyas Voice can go, and it's stronger than most people would notice. They gave it 4 from 5 points, calling it amazing with outstanding Vocals. Billboard said that this song delivers strong vocals, but is boring to listen to. They gave it 3 from 5 points. Title: Love, Love Genre: Pop, Electro Length: 4:35 Writer(s): Aliya Rose Producer(s): Yasutaka Nakata "Love, Love" is the sixth and last track on the EP, and has production credits by Yasatuka Nakata, who's known for his productions for J-Pops biggest groups. The song was written by Aliya Rose. The song has genres of Pop and Electronic with influences of J-Pop , Techno and other similiar categories. The song is lyrically about love and freedom, which get supported by lyrics like "I will stay with you, forever/Live in Freedom (In Freedom)" , "With every step I take/I will remember you" and "La, La, La, Love, Love, La, La, La" After listening to some J-Pop, aliya got the idea to make something similiar music-wise. So she called the Producer "Yasutaka Nakata", who's the reason why many J-Pop bands got numerous of #1's in Japan. He was against the idea first, but did it after he got the Lyrics for the song. It's Yasutakas first song, which is not in Japanese. It's the only song on the EP which had a impact in Japan. Music Critics noted that it was a risky step, MTV's James Montgomery called the song an outstanding piece of work, which will be the biggest club banger this summer. Rollingstone called it an different song, which is completly out of the place next to the other 5 songs. But even though it's completly different, it's an amazing track which has a magical production and very good lyrics-wise. They gave it 4.5/5 points, calling it one of the better songs on the EP. You can pretty much sing on any beat, can't you? :P That's good though, a lot of artists are trapped in a box musically and can't venture out so it's always promising to see new acts be able to step outside the box.
