"The Game" received positive reviews from music critics who deemed it as Johnny's most political song and praised the production and Dale Dunn's verses. After the gay anthem "Come Out", Johnny released the powerful collaboration with Dale Dunn "The Game" as the second single from his upcoming album "He was the perfect match for the song.. Without his parts the song wouldn't be complete." Johnny said about his collab with Dale. "I don't wanna say much about the song or explain it. I love the positive message in all of your songs lately. It really gives people something to look to instead of the same type of songs that we hear over and over again. Thats what I try to do with my music...have a message that you know your audience can relate to, and everyone can relate to the message your getting out with The Game. There's just so much to you and I'm becoming a fan :P Keep it up!

It has such a positive vibe and I feel like you're being a good influence on your fans without coming across as preachy, which is a tough thing to do.
