101 song/single rating?

I was looking through the charts and noticed that this artist had a single which rated at 101 and a song on that single with the same rating.

From what i understand isn't that impossible to do? Not only that but this artist is getting like number 1's all over the world. which, from let's say the under 6000 points that we have accumulated this far since the game was brought back, that is impossible to get those kinds of sales and rankings worldwide.


Not to mention they released an album 2 days apart from each other, when the game is supposed to force you to wait 15 days. They also at one point released 6 singles on the same day. I'm not sure if that was due to the game being down, and it allowed you to do that or not, but the account just seems extremely suspicious to me.

I don't know about the 101, but the time stuff is all from the charts not updating, and then they think everything's the same age.

Oh, ok, that's what I was thinking too, I just wasn't 100% sure.

Though I still find it strange how they can be famous enough to pull off number 1's and those high sales in every region, just off like 6000 points.

Because of that person, many singles that were #2 or #3 could of been #1.

what do you mean?

As far as I have seen from playing this game before it had went down. 6000 points can not give you 100 in every region, and those kinds of sales along with it. I'm not even talking about the ranking that user recieved, it's just the fact that they have 100 fame in each area, and also have enough points to max out their songwriting ability to 100.


And I also don't see how it is possible to get 101 for a song ranking, I have never seen that before in a user that wasn't cheating in some way.

The cheats in the last game amounted 127-rated singles, and one of the songs on the album in question was 101 rated. Not sure how it works when *writing*, but with the single, basically the gist is every song has a full-number rating, and an invisible decimal, which is rounded up or down to make the average past the .5 mark.

So the single could consist of, say:

Song 1 - 101.2
Song 2 - 100.7
Song 3 - 100.3

Thus rounding to 101, 101, 100, making modal average of 101.

at least, that's my theory.

As for the points thing, entirely up to whoever works it out I guess, which I'm thinking you have Yumi, so some foul play may be at hand on the user's part... Though I'm just saying that 101 rated singles *are* a possibility, but I'm unsure on what allowance and distribution.

EDIT: And of course, I forgot to mention, when displaying the song ratings, the game doesn't round it up or down for us, but leaves it invisible til the average is collated.

Oh, I understand about the actually full single rankings working that way.

My main concern was that his song had a 101 ranking, and I have just never seen that before in the game

Ahh right!

Well I'm not sure, as he only has *one* 101 rated song, I'm not too suspicious. Though the 100-rated in every country thing is a more shady thing to notice, as you said.

All I know is that it's quite possible to get to 100 all across the world because I've done it, and done it with various bands. And so with pop at 100, why wouldn't you be able to sell number 1s in each country?

I was surprised by the 101 rated single. It seems to be because 1 of my songs was rated 101 (I suppose as xNightsidex suggested above about the averages...eg. if it was 100.51 rated it'd count as 101). I don't remember it happening in v.3.
It definitely is possible to get 100 popularity worldwide and 100 songwriting with the number of points we've had so far without cheating, and I'm not the only person to be at that level. A little tip: touring immediately after releasing a single or album seems to be the best time to do it.

When I tour if all my stats are 100 I often get a performance rating of like 106% max, but it doesn't have any effect on the popularity rising. But that's only on The Schadenfreude Ecdysiast I get that, not on any others.
