I just realized that I never did this, so here we go. WOOOOOSH!
My name is Hannah. Maj is my middle name, and I really enjoy it, so I make most people call me Hannah Maj (it's pronounced "may," by the way. You wouldn't believe the number of people who pronounce is "Madge." Kill me. That's, like, a trucker woman's name. It's like Sonja. The J makes a Y sound). I'm nineteen, I work as a teacher's assistant, and I go to college. Major in psychology, minor in elementary education.
I have a daughter, who is the absolute love of my life. Her name is Rhiannon, Nonny for short. And yes, she is named after the Fleetwood Mac song. I was quite the Stevie Nicks fan when I was younger. She just turned six. Love my girl.
My favorite types of music are the standards from the 1940s and such. I'm a huge Peggy Lee fan, as well as Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, and (of course) my Frankie Sinatra. I also love love love Adele, Amy Winehouse (I miss her so much), and The Velvet Underground. And, OF COURSE, The Dresden Dolls is my all-time favorite band of all time ever yes. I have Amanda Palmer's eyes and eyebrows tattooed on my back. It's a borderline obsession that may not be borderline anymore.
I'm sure I have other bands I love/obsess over, but I honestly can't think of them right now... It's been a long day. So here we are. Hello.
