AFTER THE SUPPORT BANDS, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. THE NORWEIGAN FANS BEGAN TO SHOUT “REALM, REALM, REALM!” AND THE BAND WAS VERY EXCITED IN THE BACKSTAGE. AN ORCHESTRAL INTRO MARKED THE BEGINNING OF ONE GREAT NIGHT. THEN, ODD (HEGLESSON) APPEARED IN THE STAGE WITH A REAPER’S DISGUISE AND HE SAID “ARE YOU READY TO BURN?” (IN NORWEIGAN) AND HE DISSAPPEARED. NOW THE INTRO FINNISHED AND THE GUITAR MELODIES BEGAN TO SOUND…
Stian (Andersen) and Jamie (Erstad) jumped to the stage and they began to play the first melodies of “
Awaken the Dark”, the First Song of the REÄLM’s Concert. The Rest of the band appeared in the stage and the song began. Tom Orgsen entered running the stage and sang very well this song. The band had a great sound alive, they are very good musicians. The Crowd was really happy, listening to REÄLM for first time alive! The Song finished but it created a great atmosphere between the band and the Crowd.
After the end of the Song, Tom said “YES, WE’RE ALIVE…THIS SONG IS DEDICATED TO THE FOOLS THAT SAID THAT WE WERE ONLY AN STUDIO PROJECT, FUCK YOU!” and “
Nye Broderskapets” began to sound. This is one of the Norwegian Crowd’s Favourite songs because it’s written in Norwegian. The Crowd sang the entire song and the band was really happy and excited. The Songs were sounding more powerful alive than in the Singles. But suddenly the music finished, and Tom said “COME ON MOTHERFUCKERS, IT’S YOUR TIME TO SING” and the Crowd sing the song acapella, then the Music returned and the song finished after 8 minutes (in studio it lasts 5 minutes). Then Tom began a conversation with the Crowd saying that it was their first show and that they were very happy to play in their Home.
Now its time for the second single of the band, the band “
Journey between Hell and Earth” one of the most heavy and complex songs of the band. The crowd sang all the song and they knew very well the lyrics. With the song’s great Chorous they crowd shouted louder than Tom Orgsen with a microphone. The fantastic guitar solo was accompanied by the Crowd shouting “OOOOOH, OOOOOOOOH!” and the band couldn’t believe that.
After a few seconds with the Lights off, the white light turned on and Tom talked with the crowd another time, then he said “WELL, THIS IS BEING A FANTASTIC NIGHT, WE’RE REALLY HAPPY…THE NEXT SONG IS A COVER FROM ONE OF THE BEST METAL BANDS EVER, THEY ARE NOW DISBANDED, BUT IT STILL IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BANDS, THE SONG IS
Bludgeoned Into Submission, A COVER FROM MIND” the crowd shouted loudest than ever because they were really excited to hear a Mind Cover by an Extreme band. The Fans knew the song very well and they shout very loud, and they sang perfectly the part “The moon is my guide, this treacherous night, I feel so cold, yet blinded from light, Ad astra, bellum se ipsum allet! Tonight we ride! Bludgeoned into submission”. After Ending the Great song from Mind Tom said that “YEAH! IT WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE MIND SONGS, IT’S PERFECT AND I THINK WE PLAYED IT WELL”
The Fans were really crazy, Shouting, Singing, Jumping…After 1 or 2 minutes of break, the band came with a very heavy and fast song, “
Spiritual Disease” with a very good performance of Tom (Orgsen) at the vocals. The Crowd went crazy singing “Spi-Ritual Disease, Spi-Ritual Disease!” at the Chorous (a pun between Spiritual and Ritual). The Band was still playing very good and they were thinking “YEAH, THIS CONCERT IS HELL!”…the song finished but Drummer Tomt (Atle) played a very good drum solo and after that, Terje (Lundsten) played a very rare bass solo.
Then it was the turn of the Rarest song by the band, the Sci-Fi Epic Song “
Gateways to a New Dimension”, the crowd wasn’t as excited as before but they were still singing. With a very complex and rare chorous it’s not easy to sing, so only a few fans could sing it. But I think that it was one of the Best songs this night. Then the band took a break, because the next songs were really wild!
After some minutes, with the Crowd still shouting, another Orchestral Intro Sounded in the Smuget Club. It was time for “
The Ritual” and the Crowd was really afraid because you don’t know if they will take you for a Sacrifice…The Symphonic Metal song is very dark and heavy and it took your mind and all the Crowd was in trance because of the Symphonic and Medieval drums of this song. When it finished I went out of the Club to drink some water, but I returned very fast!
Only a few seconds after my return, one of the Best Songs of the band (the most commercial song) began to sound in this hell called concert! Yes, it was time for “
The Unholy Offering” but this is a Holly song with that catchy chorous, the entire Crowd sang very loud this time. With a great performance of the band I was very happy and I realize that they we’re recording this show for a Live Album, then I read that It will be a Free Live Album that you’ll be able to download (For Free!) in their official site, without any mixing or something like that, it will sound like the band sounds alive.
With only a few seconds of silence, the band performed their Epic Black Metal Song called “
Ancestral Black Domain”, the Black Metal fans love this song! The Crowd was really tired but the Band was really well and you can notice that only listening to this song on the show. Great performance of the band and very good performance of the Only Touring Member Odd (Heglesson) that was playing out of the stage.
Nothing is eternal and this show wasn’t the exception, Tom said “WELL, THIS WAS A GREAAAAAT SHOW, WE’LL PLAY ANOTHER TIME HERE, AFTER RELEASING OUR DEBUT ALBUM THIS YEAR…BUT NOW IT’S TIME, THE LAST SONG…WE HAVE PLAYED ALL OUR SONGS FROM THE UPCOMING ALBUM, AND THIS IS THE LAST,
Beyond Your Eyes Can See”, the crowd shouted “YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” and this dark and long song began. I think the crowd wanted more than only 12 songs, but it’s REÄLM first show so I was very excited and happy with this Last Song. The Song sounded Excellent and the Crowd shouted and sang the entire song, the band was really happy and we were too, it finished and I was thinking that they were going to return, and I was right…they returned…to sign autographs and to talk with the Fans.
A very good Show, I’ll se them alive another time? Sure!
