New York Post got an Advanced listen to the single "Heart & Salt" and here's what they had to say

"It's interesting to see Stephanie Fierce and Raven Comatose take a direction into trip-hop/soul. Heart & Salt describes the bitter love a man has towards a woman, and the idea of reborn. ["Your heart is being haunted"] the late and iconic Raven Comatose chillingly sings over a faded and scary short quarter-comma meantone. The random clavichord used over the mid tempo beat is also beatiful and takes it to a whole new level. The song takes a dark unexpected turn in the bridge, when an operatic, bombastic and orchestral styled instrumentation rapidly takes over. ["Respect my movement or get ran over"] Stephanie fiercely commands and things go uphill. What's impressive is how both Stephanie and Raven manage to maintain equal exposure. None outshining each other while singing that very high note towards the end of the song.

It's Beautiful, Dark, haunting and, Powerful. Overall fierce. It might not take Stephanie far in the charts with this one unless some sort of radio edit is done, but it will take her far as an artist."

"Be poised. This song is one of those songs that I honestly lose my mind. In a good way. This song's production is retrospective. Simply because Raven recorded about a year ago and I sort of went back to that. After her passing I just couldn't finish the song we had recorded. Its very weird how it all came back together. When I finished the production. I was literally in tears and my nerves were off the roof. I was scared. My heart was beating so fast. I couldn't listen to the song for about a month after I finished it. When a song makes me feel this way, you just don't know what to do. I love all my songs. But I really gave it my all with this one. It's what this whole record is about." - Stephanie Fierce
